The ceremony of the 34th Daytime Emmy awards occurs yesterday and was aired this year on CBS (see the News of 03/14/2007). No chance for Kim Zimmer (ex-Jodie Walker) and Crystal Chappell (ex-Jane Kingsley) : it is Maura West (As the World Turns) who won the Emmy of the best outstanding lead actress. Sorry Kim, you can't win every time (see the News of 04/30/2006) !...

On last May 31, Sydney Penny (ex-B.J. Walker) gave birth to her first child : Chasen August (see the News of 12/26/2006). The little boy, just like his mummy, are fine. This is the first child of the couple formed by Sydney Penny and Robert Powers, married since 2005.
Sydney should reappear in the soap All my Children at the end of August, after her parental vacations.

After 6 seasons, George Lopez, the sitcom starring Constance Marie (ex-Nikki Alvarez), came to an end this month in the United States. Constance played there the character of Angie Lopez, George's wife, during 120 episodes, since March 2002 (see the News of May 2002). The end of the show coincides with its arrival in France, every day on TF6, under the title Une Famille du Tonnerre.
Eric Close (ex-Sawyer Walker) and Without a Trace, Paul Johansson (ex-Greg Hughes) and One Tree Hill, and Eva LaRue (ex-Margot Collins) and CSI : Miami are, as for them, ensured to be back for a new season next fall.

Surprise on Monday, May 28th on NBC : a face, and especially a voice, made shuddering the televiewers of the soap-opera Passions... Not because this character is a witch, but rather because it was played by... Judith McConnell ! The ex-Sophia Capwell of Santa Barbara made then her big come-back on the small screen at the occasion of an episode of Passions, which saw her disguised in a witch armed of magic powers as only this fantastic soap can invent some. Judith may appear in a few other episodes in the days to come...
A chance for the televiewers who arrive too late (and the non-Americans) : the site of NBC proposes during one week to watch again for free and as much as you want to the whole episodes ! Be careful, after seven days, it will be too late...

By the same occasion, let remind there an information announced on the Forum of discussion of the site last February 06 : the last Coca-Cola advertising is accessible for free on the site YouTube, starring... Nicolas Coster ! The ex-Lionel Lockridge of Santa Barbara is indeed the main character, delirious and always so many moving, of the advertisement not like the others. To enjoy without any moderation...

Days of our Lives, knowing low ratings in the United States, decided to call after its former famous actors to get a new life. This is why  Thaao Penghlis (ex-Dr. Micah DeAngelis), Joseph Mascolo (ex-Carlo Alvarez) and Renée Jones (ex-Dr. Toni Carlin) will make their come-back in Salem in the weeks to come.
Thaao Penghlis had left the soap for the second time in November 2003 (see the News of November 2003) and will be the first to rejoin the show on May 24, bringing to life again his character of Tony DiMera already "deceased" twice.
Joseph Mascolo will be back, as for him, after five years spent far away from his original character of Stefano Dimera (see the News of May 2001) and a five years interlude in The Bold and the Beautiful (see the News of 07/30/2006).
At last, Renée Jones will be the last one to make her come-back on June 14, just a few months spent away from the soap (see the News of 12/04/2006).

It is sunny, love flourishes : Jack Wagner (ex-Warren Lockridge n°3) shares his love with... Heather Locklear !
The two actors have met thirteen years ago in the soap Melrose Place and always remained in contact. Now both divorced (see the News of March 2001), Jack and Heather made official their affair a few days ago, even if it was known by the rumours for many weeks.

After Robin Wright Penn (ex-Kelly Capwell n°1) a few weeks ago, a new blog dedicated to a former Santa Barbara actress has just seen the light on the net : it concerns this time Linda Gibboney (ex-Gina DeMott Capwell n°1). On the menu : videos and talks between fans. A very good initiative !

One Life to Live, Ryan's Hope, Santa Barbara, The City, All my Children, Days of our Lives, As the World Turns, Guiding Light, The Young and the Restless... Roscoe Born (ex-Robert Barr / Quinn Armitage) thought perhaps having already won the record of the number of appearances in daytime soap-operas for a same actor.
He is going to pursue this this month by joining, the time of three episodes, the soap Passions. As from April 23, he will be a terrifying head warden for the moment without any name !
Besides, let remind you that Passions will definitively get off the air on NBC next September 07.

DramedyQueen.com - a Nancy Lee Grahn fansite exists since the end of 2005 and shares photos, press articles, dialogues transcriptions, videos... In fact, a real fan site !
