Bold and beautiful actors

To find a second breath with ones career after ones departure from Santa Barbara is far from being an easy thing for too many actors of the show. If some of them have succeeded in having success since (Robin Wright, Ally Walker, Jack Wagner...), it is far from being the case for the majority of them. For the most of them, it is again in soap-operas that they can be found today (see the News of September 1999). Among those, one seems particularly delighted by occasionally welcome among its cast former actors of Santa Barbara : it is The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition to Gina Gallego (ex-Santana Andrade) who officiates there with more or less of regularity in the role of Dr. Gina Santana (!), the appointed doctor of the Forrester family since 1994, American viewers had the surprise and the pleasure to find in February two other former actors of the show: Kristen Meadows (ex-Victoria Lane) the 08th, in the role of a realtor, and Henry Darrow on February 27 and 28 in the role of Dr. Nunez.

Laken visits the Abbotts

It is in the same state of mind that the actress Shell Danielson (who was the 3rd Laken Lockridge in Santa Barbara between 1990 and 1991), has joined for four episodes the cast of the soap The Young and the Restless in February. She played the character of Bunny, a friend of the Abbott family.

Petition *The continuation of Santa Barbara* threatened in France ! The rumour has been confirmed : the cabled channel TF6 which, since last 19 December, airs the new episodes unaired in France of Santa Barbara, only detains the rights of the show for 250 episodes of 40 minutes, that is to say one year of episodes. Thus, if nothing is done, the diffusion will stop at the end of December 2001 with the episodes from September 1989. It is time to act and claim to TF1, principal owner of TF6, the acquisition of the remaining seasons of the show and their doubling in French. 		Timothy Gibbs leaves One Life to Live Timothy Gibbs (Dash Nichols in Santa Barbara) has just announced it : he has decided not to renew his contract with ABC and is then going to leave the soap *One Life to Live* in a few weeks. "Hopefully, I'll be out of there soon. I'm ready to go" he said. Timothy played the character of Kevin Riley Buchanan since 1998.

		Private life

		Jack Wagner divorces Jack Wagner (the 3rd Warren Lockridge in Santa Barbara between 1991 and 1993) has announced his divorce with the actress Kristina Malandro after seven years of marriage. The couple, which had met on the stage of the soap General Hospital in 1983 (read on this subject an article about Jack Wagner), has two children, Harrison and Peter Jolin, respectively 6 and 10.
