The unhoped reunion

Thirteen years after their last scene together in Santa Barbara, Nancy Lee Grahn and Lane Davies are again accomplices and partners on the American television. General Hospital offers to the nostalgic fans the great time of Santa Barbara an unhoped reunion of big intensity.

The news of Lane Davies in this end of year, it is not only his arrival in the soap General Hospital (see the News of November). It is also for the 13th consecutive year the production on scene of Charles Dickens' part, A Christmas Carol, by Lane's company, The Santa Susana Repertory Company. And again, Lane plays one of the main roles, with at his sides between others Walter Koenig and Anne Lockhart (see the News of December 2000).

An event you must not miss, the representations taking place between the 07th and the 22th of this month at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza's Scherr Forum Theatre. Let us announce that it is Rick Rhodes himself (the composer of a big number of the musics of Santa Barbara) who has signed the musical accompaniment and the songs of the part !

Marj Dusay rebounds

In October, she announced her precipitate departure from the soap All My Children (see the News of October). Here is that, against any expected ideas, Marj Dusay (ex-Pamela Conrad) joined the cast of Guiding Light on December 02 ! She replaces there Joan Collins (who has just given her resignation), in the role of Alexandra Spaulding Von Halkein Thorpe. A character she has in fact ever played in the soap between 1993 and 1999... Just see how it is hard to change oneself ! Marj's first reappearance in Guiding Light will happen on screen the 26th of this month.

Lieutenant Tamlyn Tomita

There is not only cinema in the new life of Tamlyn Tomita (ex-Ming Li). Since September, the actress joined the regular cast of the greatest FOX show, 24 (where she is Jenny Dodge), but also that of the show JAG on CBS (in the role of Lieutenant Commander Tracy Manetti). Thus a re-opening doubly under the sign of action !

Note that the show JAG also welcomes a coming-back : Randy Vasquez (ex-Ramon Fonseca), who reintegrates his role of Sergeant Victor Galindez, his escapade in the show First Monday having indeed been prematurely stopped at the end of the last season (see the News of May).

Where is gone Ally Walker ?

We expected to see her regaining the small screens this new season : finally, the return of Ally Walker (ex-Andrea Bedford) will not have happened ! Her show, My Wonderful Life, awaited in September on the American television (see the News of August), did not rejoined the grids of the networks on the other side of the Atlantic. And we also wait for news about The Funkhousers, the new sitcom of Julia Campbell (ex-Courtney Capwell) we talked to you in the News of September...

Robin Wright for Christmas Two years. It is the time that has been necessary for the film How to Kill Your Neighbour's Dog to become Comment Tuer le Chien de son Voisin ? or, if you prefer, to finally arrive on the French screens. The film of Michael Kalesnikole, shot in the United States in 2000, will indeed be released on December 18. Robin Wright Penn plays there Melanie McGowan, the wife of the hero played by the great British actor-director Kenneth Brannagh (see the News of December 1999). A perfect comedy for the family for the feast days of this end of year...		A new happiness : Eileen Davidson The 4th Kelly Capwell in Santa Barbara will take new forms : she indeed awaits her first child for next spring. The father is Vincent Van Patten, actor in *The Young and the Restless. Since the end of Santa Barbara, Eileen Davidson has continued her career of "soap actress", passing from Days of our Lives* in 1993-1998 to *The Young and the Restless* in 1999, where she took again the character of Ashley Abbott Carlton she had ever played between 1982 and 1988.

		Enigmas Ruben and Rosa talk about their eldest daughter, Olivia Andrade, during episode 13. Olivia, who is thus Santana and Danny's sister, is a student in a hospital, she wants to become a nurse. The writers (the Dobsons and Frances Myers) must have invented this character while hoping to be able to develop it one day, however we will never have news about her...
