Sydney Penny from one role to another...

It is necessary to be very attentive to follow the career of Sydney Penny since the end of Santa Barbara in January 1993... From the soap All my Children to the show Hyperion Bay, and these last weeks Sunset Beach where she played the interim of Susan Ward in the role of Meg, she is now turned towards her fourth regular role in five years ! The nominated ones at the sixteenth ceremony of the Soap Opera Digest Awards have been  revealed at the end of November. Among them, some faces familiar to the fans of Santa Barbara, today actors in others success soaps...

One will thus retain of these nominations the one of Kim Zimmer (Jodie Walker) for the outstanding lead actress for the character of Reva in Guiding Light, the one of Jon Lindstrom (Dr. Mark McCormick) for the outstanding supporting actor for the character of Kevin in Port Charles, the one of Eileen Davidson (Kelly Capwell n°4) for the favorite return for the role of Ashley in The Young and the Restless, and finally our favorite, Nancy Lee Grahn (Julia Wainwright), nominated for the better outstanding supporting actress for her character of Alexis in General Hospital... The results of the votes of the readers of the magazine Soap Opera Digest will be revealed at the time of the ceremony envisaged in the current of the month... What to add more than one trustful " That the best one wins " !
