Jack Wagner also dances

He plays, sings, and now he dances !
Jack Wagner (
ex-Warren Lockridge) has been selected to participate in the new season of Dancing With the Stars, which will begin on March 19 on ABC.
He will be performing a duet with Anna Trebunskaya, against opponents like Melissa Gilbert, Martina Navratilova
or Jaleel White.
In France, TF1 broadcast
s an adaptation of the show since 2011.

Marcy Walker makes the cover of Edmond Outlook

A big thanks to Candy for having pointed out this amazing cover... Marcy Walker (ex-Eden Capwell) hits the headlines of the free American magazine Edmond Outlook !
In its February edition, the magazine published in the city of Edmond, Oklahoma, devote
s its cover and a two-page article on the actress. She talks of the origin of her conversion in religion, her daily missions and looks at her past as an actress.
The article can be read
entirely online on
the site of the magazine.

Signy Coleman plays Hope again

In addition to her web-series River Ridge now in its fourth episode this week, Signy Coleman (ex-Celeste DiNapoli) is about to make a reappearance in The Young and the Restless.
The actress will reprise her fetish
-part Hope Adams Wilson in the episode airing on February 17 on CBS. A character who died a long time ago in the soap, but whom Signy occasionally embodies steadily since 1993.

Jack Wagner unemployed

It is the end of The Bold and Beautiful for Jack Wagner (ex-Warren Lockridge) !
While the actor ha
d signed a new six-month contract in September 2011, the production of the CBS soap has decided to save money and get rid of him and of three other long-time actors of the show : Lesley -Anne Down, Brandon Beemer and Zack Conroy.
Jack Wagner joined
The Bold and Beautiful in the part of Dominick "Nick" Marone in March 2003 (see
the News of March 2003).
Rumors are already announcing his return
in General Hospital... For a reunion with Robin Mattson (read below) ?

Homecoming for Robin Mattson

Robin Mattson (ex-Gina Capwell) is back in General Hospital !
It is between late March and early April that the actress will reprise her
part as the mentally disturbed Heather Grant Webber for the third time !
Robin had indeed already embodied this role originally from 1980 to 1983. Then,
after the years Santa Barbara (1985-1993) and All my Children (1994-2000), she came back there for six months in 2004 (see
the News of June 2004).
We can hope,
for her as for us, a long-term come-back this time again !

Homage : Ian Abercrombie (1934-2012)

We have learned only this weekend the death on Thursday, January 26 of Ian Abercrombie, who was Philip, the butler of the Capwells in the first months of Santa Barbara.
Born in 1934, the actor began his career on stage in 1955, before winning the
movie theaters and the televison sets a decade later. The Americans know him well for having played the eccentric character of Mr. Pitt in the sitcom Seinfeld, and for his many guest-star appearances in various TV shows (often in the parts of a butler, indeed !).
In recent years, Ian Abercrombie had also specialize
d himself in dubbing of animated series and he still has been seen early this year in the TV show Wizards of Waverly Place.
The actor, who died of a heart attack, is survived by his wife Gladys, to whom we
send our condolences.
