Vincent Irizarry makes jokes

In real, it was just a joke : this Monday, November 22, Vincent Irizarry (ex-Dr. Scott Clark) came back from the dead in the soap opera All my Children !
Killed last September (see the
News of 09/09), his character of Dr. David Hayward is finally not dead. Just to keep the ABC viewers in suspense, Vincent was forbidden, as the entire team of the show, to reveal the trickery before his surprising return to the screen. Well played Vincent, and welcome back to Pine Valley !

Homage : Michelle NiCastro (1960-2010)

It is with sadness that we learned the death of Michelle NiCastro last November 04. The actress had played three roles in Santa Barbara : Cybill Jordan in 1986, Illiana in 1988, and especially in a more sustainable way Sasha Schmidt between 1989 and 1990.
Michelle was also known and appreciated for her talents as a singer : in musicals on stage, or as a dubber in musical cartoons. She had released four albums during her career.
A breast cancer has taken her away at the age of 50, leaving behind her a husband, Steve Stark, and two daughters. All our condolences to her family and loved ones.

Vincent Irizarry divorces

Vincent Irizarry (ex-Dr. Scott Clark) has confirmed it himself to the magazine Soaps In Depth : after several months of separation, he initiated divorce proceedings with his wife Avalon House. The actor shares with her two children, Aria and Elias Christopher (see the News of December 2001).
Let's remind that the actor left the soap All my Children last summer (see
the News of 09/09).

Ally Walker mother and cop

Ally Walker (ex-Andrea Bedford) will be the heroine of a new TV show on the American cable channel Lifetime. The actress has indeed just signed to play Gloria Shepherd, main character of the new show Exit 19, which chronicles the life of a single mother who has to juggle her family and her work in the homicide department of the New York police.
The series had already come into being in 2007, with as main actress Geena Davis, before being forgotten. The shooting will start in the coming weeks for a broadcast in early 2011.

The Martinezs's got talent !

A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo) was yesterday, October 18, guest-starring in the new episode of Castle on the ABC. He played the role of Cesar Calderon.
The actor has also come to our attention a video of his daughter Ren on
YouTube, in which she performs Before It Breaks by Brandi Carlile at Malibu High School. To listen to and enjoy right now !

Prolific Mark Arnold

Contacted by Santa Barbara : le site Francais, the ever prolific Mark Arnold (ex-Joe Perkins) has gave us his latest news :
"Last Stop... Friendship, a feature I'm starring in, recently received its American debut at the Arpa International Film Festival in September here in Los Angeles at the Egyptian Theatre. It will receive its Canadian premier this month at the Pomegranate Film Festival in Toronto, which starts October 22.

WWJD : What Would Jesus Do ?, in which I have a leading role, and which stars John Schneider, has just been released on DVD and is available on Amazon.
I've recently completed filming a short called Last Supper, and yesterday (October 14) shot a scene for the short The Bullet Catcher. Today I start filming a western (short) called Lucky's Last Ride, which I'm also starring in. We're shooting here in Yucca Valley, which is near Joshua Tree.
Also slated is a part in another short called The French Witch of Jamaica, a period piece set on a plantation in Jamaica in the 1800s. I play a French plantation owner and will shoot it in French !
Reconciliation, another feature, is slated for release soon, but I don't have anymore details on that."
An impressive list of news which is a pleasure to read !

Enthusiastic Signy Coleman

Signy Coleman (ex-Celeste DiNapoli) left last weekend in Delaware to begin the shooting of River Ridge, a new web-series.
Created by Tyler Ford, the program chronicles the life of a small community, where many will be found many actors well known by soap-operas fans. Signy is also associate producer of this project.
