Eileen Davidson does round trips

06/17/2014

Some soap-opera actresses have two houses : it is the case of Eileen Davidson (ex-Kelly Capwell) who, for several years, does regularly round trips between The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives.
After having left the first one in May 2012 (see the News of 05/09/2012), she had joined the second soap a few weeks later, before leaving it again in July 2013 (see the News of 08/05/2013). Since then, she appeared in a episodic way in both soaps, every time the time of one or a few episodes.
Now today the actress confirmed her official return in
The Young and the Restless on CBS for a long-term contract. She will resume the part of Ashley Abbott in early September, after her last appearance in Days of our Lives to be aired on NBC.

Also let us specify that Eileen Davidson was nominated in the outstanding lead actress category for Days of our Lives at the next Daytime Emmy awards ceremony, which will be held on June 22 at the Beverly Hilton. It will be also the first time for thirty years that the ceremony will not be broadcast on the American television.
