We had crossed our fingers for her... But it was not enough so that Robin Wright (ex-Kelly Capwell) wins the Emmy award of the outstanding lead actress in a drama series yesterday evening during the ceremony of the 65th Primetime Emmy awards.
The performer of Claire Underwood in the show House of Cards indeed saw herself stolen the show by Claire Danes in Homeland.
This nomination was in any case a nice reward yet to celebrate Robin's return in a series, even if this one was only aired on the internet in the United States (see
the News of 02/01).

Ally Walker (ex-Andrea Bedford) in a French series ? To be more correct, in a French-American series !
The actress finally joined the shooting of Taxi
: Brooklyn, the series derived of the action movies Taxi, which is currently shot in New York. The show follows the investigations of Catlin, a New York police detective, who teams up with Léo, her informant, who turns to be a taxi driver coming from Marseille, France.
Ally will be Frankie Sullivan, a character for whom not much information leaked out to this day.
The series, produced by Europacorp, the French studio created by Luc Besson, will include 12 episodes of 52 minutes. The shooting continuing until December 20, it will be necessary to wait for 2014 for a
n airing in France, on TF1.

A Martinez in theaters in France

Whereas the second season of the TV series Longmire has just ended on the American channel A&E, it is A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo)'s last movie which get released in France this September 11 (see the News of 04/03) !

Jimmy P : Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian tells the story of Jimmy Picard, a Blackfoot Indian having fought in France during the Second World War, and who enters the psychiatric military hospital of Topeka, Kansas, where war veterans are treated. Georges Devereux, a French anthropologist and psychoanalyst, specialist of the Amerindian cultures, is charged of his care.
A Martinez plays the Indian Bear Willie Claw. To discover in the French theaters !

Let us indicate that Curse of Chucky, the horror movie which marks the return of the killer doll, will be released in theaters in France on November 05, while it will know only a DVD release in the United States on October 08 of this year.

New departure for Eileen Davidson

One year after her return in Days of our Lives (see the News of 07/06/2012), Eileen Davidson (ex-Kelly Capwell) has just announced her departure !
Eileen had joined the soap last July in the
part of Kristen Blake, character whom she had already played from 1993 till 1998.
Her last shooting day being July 16, because of the gap, her last appearance on the network NBC will be made only next November.
Sydney Penny spends a perfect summer

On Saturday, July 13, Sydney Penny (ex-B.J. Walker) will be on the American cable channel Up in a new TV movie, The Perfect Summer.
Sydney
plays Alyssa, single mother of a teenager, who moves in a coastal town to get closer to her own father, played by Eric Robert. Her son discovers there the enjoyments of surfing, and makes friends as enemies.

We knew them actors, here they are also directors : Jon Lindstrom (ex-Dr. Mark McCormick) and Timothy Gibbs (ex-Dash Nichols) went behind the camera to direct two movies now finished.

How We Got Away With It, the movie co-writed and directed by Jon Lindstrom, tells the reaction of a group of friends to a tragedy which appears in broad daylight during their annual summer reunion weekend. The movie began to be showed during film festivals in the United States and has already won two awards as best movie and best actor-director for Jon at the Bare Bones International Film Festival.

I/NATION, written and directed by Timothy Gibbs, tells the story of Sidney Porter (played by Timothy himself), a CIA analyst who steals money from his employer to perform his own idealistic political intentions. The whole shooting took place in Barcelona, Spain, where Timothy spends now the major part of his life (read his exclusive interview of 2009). The project of I / NATION is to become a TV series, if this pilot is accepted by a television channel. It is all the best we wish it !

The dates of the summer

Since June 10, we can find the second half of the second season of the TV show Switched at Birth on ABC Family. Constance Marie (ex-Nikki Alvarez) still plays Regina Vasquez, the mother of two girls switched at birth.
In theaters, on June 11 was released in the United States The Book of Esther, which recounts the story of this book of the Hebraic Bible. We find there Thaao Penghlis (ex-Dr. Micah DeAngelis) in the part of Haman. Thaao besides ended the shooting of JOB's Daughter, a new movie in which he plays a priest, Father Nicolas.
On July 23
still in the United States, we wait for release of The Time Being, about the relation between a rich man at the point of death and an artist whom he employs. On screen, we shall recognize Gina Gallego (ex-Santana Andrade) in the role of Anjelica.
