Homage : Paul Rauch (1934-2012)

Producer Paul Rauch has just died last Sunday from the consequences of a long disease. From January 1991 to the end of Santa Barbara in January 1993, he was the executive producer of it, in charge of the future of the show.
He had previously begun on other daytime soaps : Texas, Another World and One Life to Live, before continuing with Guiding Light, then The Young and the Restless until May 2011. He had begun his career as an actor, then a director.
Producer recognized by his peers, he was however disparaged by the Santa Barbara fans to have led the show to his loss. We remember in particular the ultimate scene of the last episode where he crushes of his foot his cigarette butt on the ground of the studios. A plan which has never been forgiven to him by the fans...
He is survived by his wife, pianist Israela Margalit.

Judith McConnell in the grip of zombies

Judith McConnell in danger ? Just for a fiction ! The ex-Sophia Capwell makes her come-back in front of cameras in the new web-series Zombie Whisperer.
Written, produced and directed by actor Matt Fowler, the series appears as a series of horror and comedy at the same time, where the blood flows like water.
Judith makes an appearance in the second episode, of which we look forward.
The team is full of praise for her, as we see it on the Facebook page of the web-series.

A Martinez in public !

California Solo, one of A Martinez's (ex-Cruz Castillo) last movies (see the News of 12/20/2011) is going to make its official release this month !
The actor announces on his Facebook page that after the Sundance festival and other numerous festivals, the movie will be watchable from November 30 in New York, then from December 07 in Los Angeles.
In California Solo, A Martinez plays Warren, the friend and the boss of the character played by Robert Carlyle, a British rocker threatened to be deported from the United States. A Martinez will be present at the openings for a session of questions and answers with the public, together with the director Marshall Lewy.
Let us remind that the movie was presented to the French festival of Deauville last September.

Nicolas Coster filming

Nicolas Coster himself confirmed it to us : he currently participates in the shooting of My Synthesized Life, a web-series with a promising scenario awaited for 2013.
Nicolas plays Hank Bales, the father of the hero of this series who, at 25 years old, has his voice naturally synthesized after a near car crash. His character is described as loud and opinionated.
In control of this web-series : Nate Golon, creator and director. Around Nicolas Coster, we find Brent Bailey, who plays his son, and Cindy Pickett, his wife.
The shooting began on October 05 and should continue until November 20. 11 episodes between 6 and 8 minutes are planned, for a premiere in March or April 2013 on a website which remains to define.

Vincent Irizarry sings and dances

Vincent Irizarry (ex-Dr. Scott Clark) made it : he convinced his friends of All my Children to join him again on stage for a second edition of the cabaret show, Fall in Love Again With Your Favorite Soap Stars.
Singing, dance and comedy will be on the program for Vincent, Bobbie Eakes, Walt Wiley and Jacob Young for a unique representation, on Sunday October 28 at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York.
The first performance, on February 18 of this year, had been a beautiful success.
