Remember this date : Monday June 21, 2010. As a celebration of the World music day, a new website is going to make its appearance on the net : Santa Barbara in music. The site will give a good place to the songs and instrumentals which accompanied the greatest moments of the show, classified by characters.
A Facebook page of the site is already on-line to share your comments and memories of the songs of the show. Can't wait for 21 !
Eric Close in full chaos

While he is these days invited to the 50th Festival of Television of Monte-Carlo (see photo opposite), Eric Close (ex-Sawyer Walker) announced that after the mini-series Seven Deadly Sins (see the News of 05/21), he will be back in a few months in a nightime series on CBS ! In Chaos, Eric will embody a C.I.A. agent who works within a team acting secretly, to win in efficiency and in independence.
What surprised in Monte-Carlo is that the show was not confirmed by CBS yet. But let us rely on the actor to find him on the small American screens before the end of year 2010...
Jon Lindstrom nominated !

Big piece of news for Jon Lindstrom (ex-Dr. Mark McCormick) : he was nominated in the outstanding lead actor category at the next Daytime Emmy awards ! It is all the more a good news as this nomination also pays tribute to the soap As the World Turns, whose cancellation has been announced by CBS for next September (see the News of 12/10/2009).
Jon plays the character of Craig Montgomery there since December 2008 (see the News du 10/09/2008) and will have shot his last scene a few days before the Daytime Emmy awards ceremony, which will take place on June 27 at Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, and will be broadcasted this year on... rightly CBS. We wish him good luck !
A Martinez at the hospital

A Martinez ( ex-Cruz Castillo) contacted us this day to inform us about his appearance this same evening in the episode An Arm and a Leg of the CBS show Miami Medical. The actor had indeed informed us about the shooting of this episode last December (see the News du 12/23/2009), without knowing at the time that it would be moreover the last episode of this show. To watch closely if you are on the good side of the Atlantic Ocean !

A also wishes to share with you a very beautiful video of his daughter Devon performing Woodstock at Yale's Dwight Hall and mounted on YouTube earlier this week. Run to watch it, her performance is plainly magnificent. And do not hesitate to share your opinions on this video on YouTube website !

One year afyter the cancellation of Without a Trace (see the News of 05/20/2009), Eric Close (ex-Sawyer Walker) makes his return at the American television in a mini-series, to begin on this May 23 on the cable channel Lifetime.
In Seven Deadly Sins, Eric will be Jack Powell, a high school professor who lets himself seduced by one of his pupils. Only 4 episodes to be discovered, but always a pleasure to see again Eric Close on the screen !
