Augusta invites herself to Mack's caravan and stays to have dinner. She allows Mack to kiss her, until Brandon arrives and interrupts them. Cruz goes to see Ric to use his telephone to call Eden. Ric offers to help find the one who took her. Nikki struggles and Marcos lets her leave. Michael points out that she was assaulted and goes to see Marcos to threaten him. Nikki waits for the man who keeps her brother to move away and releases him. But barely moving away the man surprises them with a weapon. Marcos joins them. Sophia is exhausted on the filming of Journeys by Stephen's erratic behaviour, who spends his time rewriting the scenario of the film and to insult his team. Derek and Craig join him to try to reason with him. Derek entrusts him that he fears that he is getting muddled up...
Gina spends the night sewing jackets made by pieces of disparate cloths. She takes them with her to Howie's Diner and holds the attention of two young very passionate customers. Stephen puts back the filming envisaged during the day. C.C. has a debate man to man with him, in the course of which Stephen reminds him that he would not wish that Sophia knows that he is the financer of his film. Kelly tells Ric that a polo match is going to take place against one feared rival of her fathers, Harland Richard. Ric points out his daughter in the Pacific Bay polo club and falls immediately under her charm. Augusta proves to be jealous of Kelly having lunch with Mack. Mason drives Julia to the library. He shows her books on preserving to prove to her that Sasha cannot be alive. Back at home, Julia suddenly sees something frightening by the window...

Ric joins Tawny Richards for a game of racquetball. He then finds her in a bar, where Tawny seems very popular. Julia sees a lamp in her living room twinkling, and then hears Sasha singing. She is frightened and is barely reassured by Mason's flippancy. She goes back to the library and meets a specialist, who asks her questions on her visions. Laura discovers that Annie's husband came to visit, and that he did not die. Annie explains to her that she always wanted to kill him since he wanted to divorce, but she has never done it. Laura thinks immediately of offering her a deal: that each kills the husband of the other one. She insists that Annie is the first one to begin. Marcos asks Nikki to perform a new delivery for him. Michael begins doubting her integrity and speaks about it to Cruz. He joins Nikki on the harbour. Cruz goes to Marcos' place and searches his drawers. He finds a request of American nationality in there...

Tawny invites Ric home. They play in the playroom, and get ready to kiss each other when they are interrupted by the butler. Tawny's father tries to see her, and Ric is forced to leave. Julia and Mason spend the night in a Victorian hotel next to the ocean. In their room, Julia believes she recognises Sasha in the portrait of an old lady. Suddenly, their car catches fire. Mason thinks that it is because of the storm, but panicked Julia thinks that they are being followed. She packs her suitcases to go back. Michael accompanies Nikki by boat for a round dance around the harbour. Under the storm, Nikki manages to join the shed where Marcos' accomplice is alone. She stuns him and hides their supply of Ice. Cruz entrusts Michael that he thinks that Marcos is the one who killed Tom Fellows, Jane Kingsley and tried to kill Eden. Nikki phones Marcos and asks him to return her brother or she will destroy the supply of drugs. Michael goes to see Nikki and notes that she emptied her flat. He finds a sachet of drugs under her bed...

Stephen negotiates with Howie to film scenes of his film in Howie's Diner. Gina is horrified at the idea of seeing Sophia leaving the restaurant in which she works. Laura realises that Ethan still did not die in spite of the plants which she slipped into the pot of tea. It proves that Shannon, Ethan's nurse, changed the tea to avoid caffeine. When Ethan tries the poisoned tea finally, he finds a distasteful taste and does not finish his cup. On Laura's orders, Annie attends the stage behind the window of the home. Laura writes a second version of Annie's diary, in which she says that she wants to kill Ethan to avenge the maltreatment which he inflicted on Laura. An appeal is made to all police to find Nikki's vehicle. Nikki takes refuge outside the city, in a cave. Michael finds her and Nikki explains to him all of Marcos's history and the abduction of her brother. Michael offers to help her in exchange for the drugs against Amado's release. Marcos arrives in the cave and finds Michael's police badge...
Augusta invites Mack to her hotel and offers to lay him off from the polo club to take up their own team of polo. Gina asks Vic Boswell to speed up the inquiry into the fire of the Lockridge villa. On Cruz's advice, she finds Augusta to get a list of her enemies likely to have set the fire. Stephen asks C.C. to lend him his yacht and one of his residences in the countryside as decors. Sophia is surprised that there are scenes currently on a yacht in the film. Kelly questions Craig having heard him on the telephone with Derek. They end up kissing each other. Tawny and Ric spend the evening together. Ric is surprised when Tawny gives him some drugs, although she assures him not to take it. Ric tells Cruz that Tawny is not the pusher as he believed, and throws the drugs away discreetly...
Sasha's sister, Sydney, makes her appearance in The Lair. Bunny tells Mason. Facing Sydney, Mason pretends not to have seen Sasha for two months and not to know where she is. Back from their stay at the hotel, Julia finds the portrait which reminded her of Sasha in her suitcase. She even hears her murmur "Julia". The specialist from the library knocks on her door. Nikki and Michael hide in a ghost town in the desert. In the bar where they take refuge, Nikki finds a dress belonging to a saloon dancer that she dresses in. She has a romantic moment with Michael, before they are surprised by a snake. Amado is driven to a warehouse of toys. He manages to stun his jailer and leaves a message for his sister. Cruz and Vic Boswell hear the message and manage to locate Amado. They go there to release him. But Marcos succeeds in running away. He phones his leader. We finally see his face: it is Kirk Cranston...

The scenes in the ghost town between Nikki and Michael remind greatly of those in 1985 between Kelly and Nick, using the same set of the saloon, the piano and the idea of the ancient dress found in a trunk.
In the ending credits, Stella Stevens, in the part of Phyllis Blake, is not credited as regular actress anymore.
Laura asks Annie to go home and to electrocute Ethan in his bath. Annie hides in the bathroom, ready to act. Ethan enters the tub, but he is joined by Shannon, who has come to help him. Annie spies on them kissing each other in the living room, and then joins Laura in the asylum. Laura then thinks about poisoning Ethan's daily brandy. Shannon speaks to Ethan about her father, imprisoned for several years after the death of a small girl. She hopes he can make a review judgement. Gladys offers a séance to Julia and Mason. But Mason's scepticism puts an end to the experience. Sydney Schmidt arrives at Julia's, and Mason offers to walk her back home to her hotel. Alone, Julia suddenly sees all lights in the home going out. The portrait resembling Sasha starts to move while pronouncing her name. In the ghost town, Michael manages to imprison the snake in his jacket, then in a bag. Marcos comes into sight and takes Nikki as a hostage. They resign themselves to give him the drugs, while Cruz and Amado arrive at their tower. In the general confusion, Marcos runs away with the drugs and hides at the back of Nikki and Michael's vehicle. He opens the bag and is bitten by the snake...
Exhausted, Marcos threatens Nikki with his weapon. Michael ends up jumping over and a gunshot blares. Marcos is killed. Benny, Marcos' accomplice, comes into sight and drives Nikki and Michael on board of a boat. Craig and Derek argue and almost fight about Kelly. Phyllis suggests that Gina gets closer to Craig to discover a means of pressure on Augusta with her past with Anthony Tonell. Gina spies on a discussion between Augusta and Craig, and hears the name of Blackie Simpson, a man associated with the casino plan. Julia receives phone calls with Sasha speaking to her. At Augusta's arrival, she tells her the story and the supernatural phenomena of which she thinks she is confronted with. Nikki and Michael's boat docks on an island. Kirk goes aboard, with garlands of flowers around his neck, and comes to them under the name of Kahana...

Gina mentions the name of Blackie Simpson in front of Augusta and watches her reaction. She spies on her phoning Blackie in Las Vegas and asking him to be discreet on the subject. Gina calls Bunny and offers to take him to Las Vegas, on the trace of Blackie. In the Pacific Bay polo club, C.C. is not delighted to see Craig seeing Kelly frequently and to be invited by Derek to future matches. Tawny speaks to Ric about her brother and of his partner, Casey, who seems to soak into a drug case. Ric brings this information back to Cruz. Cruz learns that Kirk escaped from prison during a transfer for care. He goes to the library to enquire about the name of Kahana. A Polynesian young person tells him that Kahana is the name of an island located in the Peaceful Ocean. Cruz asks C.C. to lend him his boat to go there. He is persuaded that Kirk is behind the drug trafficking. On the island, mad and completely raging Kirk dresses Nikki and Michael as Jane and Tarzan and invites them to his laboratory where he fabricates Ice. He locks them up then in a cell. The librarian who met Cruz arrives and proves to be Kirk's mistress. She tells him that Cruz is not going to hesitate to arrive at the tower...
