Her reappearance in the soap All my Children the time of a few episodes at the beginning of the year (see the News of January) already seemed to affirm the tendency : Sydney Penny is back in the soap-opera world. The actress confirms it today : she has indeed just signed to join the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as from next August 11. B.J. Walker in Santa Barbara will there refind her Warren, since Jack Wagner also joined the soap at this beginning of year (see News of March).

Roscoe Born changes of life

Roscoe Born (ex-Robert Barr and Quinn Armitage) finished at the end of June his contract in the soap One Life to Live, that he had joined last December (see News of January).

Justin Deas beats the drum

Justin Deas (ex-Keith Timmons) will begin on July 05 the shooting of For Whom the Drum Beats, under the direction of Kenneth Del Vecchio. It is the second movie of Justin, who had not shot for cinema since 1980.

For the wedding of Kelly and Joe (in 1985), the producers of Santa Barbara hired the doubles of Ronald Reagan (then president, he has a ranch in Santa Barbara), of Johnny Carson (famous TV host) and of Kate Jackson (actress especially known for her part in Charlie's Angels, ex-wife of Andrew Stevens, the son of Stella Stevens). These doubles were hired in order to give a touch of authenticity to the reception after the wedding.
