 The
re-entry of October had well begun for Jack Wagner (Warren Lockridge
between 1991 and 1993) and Bridgette Wilson (Lisa Fenimore between 1992
and 1993)... But the end of the year will have been harder : the new shows
that the two actors had respectively joined this season have been
cancelled in December because of low ratings. Good-bye thus to Titans
and The $treet (see
the News of September
and
November),
two of the many first victims of the year in the world
of the American TV shows... |

Wright will not break...
A little
more than one month after the United States, it is the turn of France
to welcome on its screens on last 27 December the new movie of Robin Wright
Penn, Unbreakable, starring Bruce Willis (on the photo)
and Samuel L. Jackson. The writer and director of the film, M. Night
Shyamalan, is not at his beginnings since he is also the author of the
last year success, The Sixth Sense. If you have seen and
appreciated (or not!) Unbreakable, give
us your opinion, as for the
film itself as for the role reserved to the beautiful
Also on screens... Note also the output on last 20 December in France of Family Man, directed by Brett Ratner, starring Nicolas Cage and, in what interests us, Téa Leoni Duchovny (Lisa DiNapoli in 1989). It is about a romantic comedy on the topic of the second chance... |

soap divorce
They have been two heroes of Santa Barbara at different seasons, married in real life, before leaving each other today... Eileen Davidson (Kelly Capwell between 1991 and 1993) and Jon Lindstrom (Dr. Mark McCormick between 1985 and 1986) indeed decided to divorce after three-and-a-half years of marriage. " This is an amicable situation. We remain the best of friends", had wanted to specify Jon Lindstrom. While Jon plays Dr. Kevin Collins in the soap Port Charles since 1996, (character for whom he had received the Soap Opera Digest Award of the best outstanding supporting actor in 2000; see the News of April), Eileen had retaken the role of Ashley Abbott Newman Lassiter Bladeson Howard (!) in The Young and the Restless in 1999. |

Jackson in the stars
The one who was Paul Whitney, the police officer friend of Cruz and boyfriend of Alice Jackson between 1986 and 1987, does his come-back on television this month in the new show of Sci-Fi channel, Black Scorpion. In this violent and sexy science fiction show, Stoney plays Prankster, a space gangster. What a program ! |
