We had already talked to you here of the reunion offered by the web-series The Bay between two former Santa Barbara actors, namely Lane Davies (ex-Mason Capwell) and Nicolas Coster (ex-Lionel Lockridge) respectively in the roles of Mackenzie Johnson and Mayor Jack Madison (see the News du 08/26/2010).
Here is that the reunion will continue and gain in intensity with the recruitment of Jed Allan (ex-C.C. Capwell), who will play more than that the role of Harold Johnson, the father of the character played by Lane Davies ! The news may delight all the fans of Santa Barbara.
The arrival of Jed Allan is scheduled to mark the second season of the show, expected in September 2011. All 16 episodes from the first season of The Bay are available online on the official website of the show.

Kim Zimmer (ex-Jodie Walker) and Robert Newman (ex-Kirk Cranston) have made their farewells at the cancellation of Guiding Light in 2009 (see the News du 04/03/2009), but here they are already reunited !
The two actors are indeed on stage to star in the musical murder mystery Curtains, respectively in the parts of Carmen Bernstein and Lieutenant Frank Cioffi.
The first performances will be held at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston from March 29 to April 10, then at the Paper Mill Playhouse from April 27 to May 22.

A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo) contacted us yesterday to inform us of two performances to come by his son Dakota Lee. The first one will be occured at Olandar in Malibu this Staurday February 26. The second one is planned for Tuesday March 01 at The Viper Room Acoustic Lounge.
If you come by Malibu at these dates, you can expect to find there A and his family.

Kim Zimmer (ex-Jodie Walker) carries on with her reconversion on stage. The actress is on the boards of Broadway in Nora and Delia Ephron's play, Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
She can be found, rotating with other comedians, since February 16 through next March 20 at New York's Westside Theatre.

Good news for Constance Marie (ex-Nikki Alvarez) : the actress was chosen for the part of Regina Vasquez in the new ABC Family show, Switched at Birth. Constance will be the mother of a teenage girl who discovers that she has lived all her youth in poverty, while she was exchanged at birth instead of growing up with her real parents, in a wealthy family.
The shooting of this series is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, for a broadcast this summer.
On a privacy side, Constance, engaged to Kent Katich, is the mother of a little Marie Luna, born in February 2009.

A Martinez begins 2011 in a very active way ! On January 29, we will be able to find him in the fantasy TV movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid on the American channel SyFy. In the role of Diego, A Martinez will intervene in the middle of a battle between alligators and giant pythons !
Then A will be visible for a four episodes arc in The Bold and the Beautiful beginning February 09 ! The information was made official today. The ex-Cruz Castillo in Santa Barbara will be Dr. Ramon Montgomery, and the producers of the show have suggested that this short cameo could be extended in the weeks to come.
Note finally the filming of the movie Symphoria, which A completed recently, where he co-stars with Eileen Davidson (ex-Kelly Capwell). The release of this film, where A plays Carl Wittig, the father of a student dating with one of his teachers, is planned for later this year.
