Episode 760

Jeffrey is taken by Indian and his accomplice. But thanks to his transmitter, he knows that Kelly is so going to find him and discovers the stash of the Indian. He finds a word in a small hole across the wall of the cell, signed by Mason. Kelly gets closer, but the Indian discovers the existence of the transmitter and destroys it. In the hospital, Cain wakes up but seems to have lost his memory. Alex discovers that he knows Cain to have treated him before in previous years in a centre of rehabilitation in San Francisco. He finds this a disturbing coincidence. Eden refuses to leave with Cruz and returns to live in the Capwell residence. Elena comes to find her there. She tells her that she hasn't slept with Cruz yet, but she will do everything to make it possible. When Cruz arrives slightly later, Eden finally seems to agree to speak to him...

Episode 761

Keith destroys the audio cassette tape which Jane had made of their risky dialogue. Jane agrees to sleep with him to have access to the file of the kidnapping of Johnny, but once finished, Keith gives her nothing. Eden still refuses to go back with Cruz, accusing him of having had a relationship with Elena and to have used some money of her inheritance to open his detective agency with her. Cruz is taken back so much by this statement that he lays Elena off from the agency in an attempt to make up with Eden. Elena goes to the hospital and enters Cain's room. She pours out the contents of a syringe into a drip before realising that her victim is not Cain, he is in the corridor! Eden asks her father to welcome Cain at their home at his release from the hospital. Having once again pushed back Cruz, he bursts in tears, taking her decision very badly...

Episode 762

Lionel came back to Santa Barbara. Hayley and Jake get ready to make love on the beach, but slow down because Hayley is still not feeling ready because of her recent rape. She reassures this by telling herself that Ted may not have slept with Laken as yet.  But it is just what is happening directly on the sand, further on the beach. Kelly finds herself wedged at the Desperado and is obliged by the owner, who takes her for his new stripper, to perform on stage for his clients. But she manages to go to the cells and release Jeffrey, who had been locked up in a padlocked trunk. Both try to demolish the partition of Jeffrey's cell by hoping to find Mason on the other side, when suddenly a gunshot then shouting blares. Eden argues with her father about Chip. She invites Victoria to come to visit her son in the Capwell residence. Tori asks her to watch over Chip for as long as C.C. the lawful carer will allow it. Eden just begins taking care of Chip when she falls from the chair and sees Chip beginning choking. She calls for help...

Episode 763

Jane threatens Keith to lodge a complaint against him for rape if he does not announce the information which he has concerning Johnny to her. Keith entrusts her with information that Marsha Connors has just transmitted to him, and proves to be the telephone number of the adoptive parents of Johnny in Illinois. Jane not knowing what to make of this, asks Elena to speak to Cruz about it. But Elena takes the initiative and calls the parents whom she asks for their definite co-ordinates. Cruz arrives to the Capwell residence and helps Eden, who had fallen from her chair, to get up again. Eden asks Cruz to bring Chip back to his mother. C.C. confesses losing. Kelly and Jeffrey find nobody in the neighbouring cell, apart from a little blood on a wall. Further on they find, the accomplice of the Indian, lying on the floor, covered with blood and dying. He dies before having been able to say to them where Mason is. The police arrive at the Desperado and acquaint themselves with the existence of the body. Kelly and Jeffrey decide to escape...

Episode 764

Hayley explains to Jake that she hesitates to continue seeing him frequently, because she still thinks of Ted. But when she learns from Laken's mouth that Ted went to bed with her, she goes back towards Jake and presents herself to him. But it is Jake who this time refuses her advances, assuming that Hayley acts only out of revenge and he prefers waiting for her to decide that she is really finally ready to make love with him. Elena sends for Brick in Johnny's and, in his arrival, Jane shows Johnny whom his adoptive parents brought back to Santa Barbara. Brick guesses that Jane solved this affair with the help of Keith. Cruz questions Cain in his hospital room, but this debate turns into a clash. Eden arrives before Cruz hits him. She tells him about Elena's last visit, in which she confessed to do everything to sleep with Cruz. But by learning that Elena succeeded in finding Johnny, Cruz offers to for her to return to Last Resort Detective Agency. Later in the Capwell residence, Cruz is alarmed to learn that Eden invited Cain to come to live with her...

Episode 765

As Kelly and Jeffrey come back to Santa Barbara they discover that Eden is alive. Kelly insists to her sister to stop pushing Cruz away under false pretences. Meanwhile, Jeffrey tells Cruz, Elena, Pearl, Julia and Victoria the discoveries which he made with Kelly in the desert. He thinks that Mason succeeded in avoiding his jailers. A letter signed by the hand of Mason arrives at the Capwell residence, but Cruz thinks that it is a forgery or that it was written under duress. Alex strongly suspects that his daughter is behind all that is hatched around the Capwell children. He goes to his hotel and asks her for an explanation. He ends up making her say what he guessed which is: that she is C.C.'s daughter. Victoria goes to Paul Marshal with a weapon and threatens him while he gets out of his shower. Eden tells Cruz that she will not be able to walk again, but they are interrupted by Sophia, who has come to announce to them that Cain has arrived at the residence...

Episode 766

Victoria wants to make Paul confess on his attempted abduction of Samantha. But Paul sees that her weapon is a fake and threatens Victoria with suing her. At Keith's office, Tori is compelled to hush up the affair. Elena promises Alex that she will not try to take revenge on C.C. or his children, but that she will seek help from a psychiatrist. Alex gives her the name of one of his associates. C.C. comes to see Cruz, then stays alone with Elena. Their confrontation is stormy, C.C. accusing her of causing trouble with Eden. Cain is newly welcomed at the Capwell place.  C.C. commits a guard even to follow his traces in the residence, but Eden makes him get rid of him. Cain says to Eden that he wants to find Soo Li, the woman with whom he simply remembers being in love with. But Eden reminds him that she died before he could bring her back to the United States...

Episode 767

Jeffrey hides a ring in the handset of Kelly's telephone and asks her to marry him. Kelly accepts immediately. The alcoholic father of Jake is back in Santa Barbara. Jake is allowed to cajole and offers to lodge him in his boat. But once he hears this offer, Mr Morton has an attack and collapses on the floor. Cain begins having memories of Vietnam and of the life after, but he blends these with events that happened during the war. Pearl, who attends the scene, tells Elena. Sophia and C.C. organise a family dinner to celebrate the return of Eden. Kelly and Jeffrey use this to announce their engagement. Cain, who feels that he doesn't belong, goes out to go for a walk outside the residence. Elena, who watches for him behind bushes, takes out a weapon and gets ready to fire at him...

Episode 768

Hayley and Jake find Jake's father of lying down on the floor. They drive him to the hospital, but his heart attack was extreme and he dies within the hour. Jake regrets not having granted more time and forgiveness to his father. C.C. refuses to accept that Kelly will be the wife of Jeffrey, and Kelly threatens him with losing his daughter. Eden joins Cain just at the time when Elena was ready to shoot him. But Cain leaves. Anxious on this subject, Eden calls Cruz and asks him to find him. Cruz finds his trace on the beach, where Cain is delirious by blending the past with Soo Li and Eden. Elena comes to his rescue, a weapon in her hand. Cruz stops her in her motion and allows Eden to make her return to Cain in the Capwell residence...

Episode 769

Jake organises a funeral ceremony in respect of his father. Ted persuades Laken to accompany him there. Kelly and Jeffrey prepare the advertising campaign of a new perfume, The Beast. They accept male models who for the audition only take off their shirts. Jeffrey becomes quickly hung up over this. He speaks suddenly about Jake, whom they crossed the day before on the beach. Kelly is persuaded that he would make the perfect model. Gina is back from Atlantic City. She surprises Keith in his sleep who calls her Jane. Having questioned Hayley, she is sure that it is Jane Wilson he is talking about. She comes to find her in Johnny's and Jane tells her that Keith abused her. Both women come to blows and Gina, who attacks a policeman in service, finds herself stopped and driven to Keith's office, who lets her stay in a cell...
