Episode 730

Minx makes an unexpected return from Palm Springs. Being a clairvoyant with Lionel, she guesses that he got married. Caroline comes to her and Minx gives her blessing to this union. The couple later goes to Alex's laboratory, where Alex informs them that Caroline's supposed healing is perhaps only a simple remission. The detective hired by Mason informs him that he could find nothing about the photo of Eden that he accepted. Mason accepts a new call asking him to remain silent or Eden's life would be threatened. He recognises the noise of the Orient Express behind and sends Kelly and Jeffrey there. But they find nothing, even if the mysterious Indian is really there, dressed up as a barman.  Kelly, who must go to New York for the advertising campaign of Evertan, hesitates to leave as she will be leaving Mason all alone. Eleanor joins Pearl in his bed. Before he gets up, she is going to find Cruz at the detective agency and reluctantly entrusts suspicious Pearl of her problems with alcohol. Later, alone in his office, Cruz recollects his trip to Utah and suddenly leaves the agency. By reading his agenda, Eleanor and Pearl discover that the date of this day is encircled in red. They understand that this day is relevant to Cruz...

Episode 731

Keith offers C.C. to buy the vaccine from him which he hid from Alex. C.C. gives him and Gina, 1.5 million dollars. Brandon is the witness of the comings and goings of Gina, pulled between her two lovers, Keith and Alex, who are unaware that they are both dating her. Keith even makes him drink some cider to question him about the love affairs of his mother. Jane accepts a call from Johnny's doctor, informing her that the results of his medical examinations are frightening. Ambulance drivers arrive and tell they take the child to the hospital to put him in quarantine. But when Jane and Brick arrive at the hospital, there is no trace of Johnny. Victoria entrusts Chip to C.C. for some hours, so that he begins accepting his grandson. At the hospital, Victoria surprises Julia under duress to provide her with the name of the father of her baby to come.  She seizes her, Julia loses balance and falls to the floor. Mason runs up to help her. Avenger, Victoria asks Mason to sign a document certifying that he will no way meet the financial needs of Julia's child...

Episode 732

Brick bears a grudge against Jane to have left Johnny at kidnappers' hands. As the police seem to find nothing, Caroline recommends that she use the services of Cruz's detective agency. Hayley discovers that Ted lied to her when he told her that he had been alone in the evening when his mare was sick. Jake tries to persuade her that there is nothing undoubtedly between Laken and Ted. But Hayley feels guilty of also having lied to Ted about the day which she spent with Jake on the beach. She tells him she thinks that they should not see each other. Cruz sermonises Carmen so that she finds a job. He later finds her on the beach, with two fingers accepting a joint with two young louts. Eleanor finds the Indian man cleaning window panes outside the agency. By finding Cruz's agenda, she understands that the date which he had encircled with red is Eden's birthday. She announces it to Cruz, but he asks her not to approach the subject of Eden with him...

Episode 733

Mason spends the day being drunk and depressed at the idea that it is Eden's birthday today. Julia finds through inadvertence the document which Victoria wanted Mason to sign. She goes home and gives her an official contract stipulating that she refuses any financial aid on behalf of Mason. Later, she intercepts a call intended for Mason where she hears that Eden is alive. Alex discovers that C.C. hid his vaccine to make him commercialise pharmaceutics by Hang glider. But C.C. disclaims any involvement. Alex asks Sophia to help him update the truth. On the beach, Cruz recollects a holiday which he had organised for a previous birthday of Eden. Eleanor thinks to have discovered where the ambulance drove the baby Johnny. She enters empty offices, where a gas is released to make her lose consciousness. Cruz, who had her message with delay, arrives there and saves her. Cain organises a small snack for Eden on her birthday. But Eden cannot help announcing her memories concerning Cruz and Cain, a jealous man, starts drinking. By going out of the cabin, he falls to the ground and Eden comes to help him. She tells him she is decided to go back to see him, but Cain refuses pretending to be dead...

Episode 734

Pearl discovers Eleanor, who spent the night at Cruz's, in a dressing gown, with Cruz by her side getting dressed. He imagines that they slept together. Jane and Brick accompany Cruz to a garage where the ambulance which kidnapped Johnny was spotted. But they return empty-handed.  Johnny is in fact to be sent to Chicago where, under the name of Fernando, he should be adopted by a new family. Pearl, Jane and Brick go to watch departures at the airport of Santa Barbara, but miss Johnny by a few. Mason asks Julia not to repeat what she heard the day before on the telephone. Cain leaves the cabin and hides Eden's crutches, fearing that she desires to be returned to the family. On his return, he does not find Eden anymore and gets in a state, while she is only in two steps behind him. He ends however up apologising for having once again lost temper...

Episode 735

C.C. refuses to pay Gina and Keith for the vaccine which they gave him until they bring him the proof of its effectiveness. Alex writes a wrong report certifying 99 % of success of his serum. He is driven to his office by Gina, leaving the free field to Keith to hide the document. Keith takes it to C.C., who demands now that Caroline undertakes tests to assess her level of healing. Sophia asks Alex to act to prevent C.C. from doubling him. In the cabin, Cain dreams that Eden makes him a declaration of love. Eleanor and Cruz are on the track of the ambulance which transported Johnny. They spot it in a garage where it is being repainted. They take cover in a living room of a massage parlour in front of the garage. Helping promiscuity, Eleanor tells Cruz about her childhood, left by her father, then her mother penniless and finally adopted by a generous man. She plays then to the masseuses to persuade the painter and goes to the point of telling him that she is there to make a children's delivery. When they go back to the garage, Eleanor and Cruz discover that a bomb waits for them in the newly repainted van. An explosion follows immediately, but they get out both unharmed...

Episode 736

A man, Paul Marshall, visits Victoria and pretends to be a photographer. He offers to take photos of Chip and his parents, but proves to be an accomplice of Marsha Connors. Julia has the first signs of giving birth and goes to the hospital. Jeffrey organised a holiday for his housewarming and the return of Kelly from New York. Continuation at the insistence of Sophia, C.C. agrees to go there. But he is stopped when he accepts a call from a nurse at the hospital in search of Mason. She informs him that Mason is about to be a daddy again. At the hospital, he sees Mason joining Julia and accompanying her during her delivery. Victoria is so alone at Jeffrey's party, just like Sophia. Alex decides to leave when in bursts Gina, decided to show herself publicly with "Nicky". At the Orient Express, Keith drowns in alcohol with the absence of Gina. He gives a waitress the ring which he had bought for her. The party ended, Kelly confesses to Jeffrey that she did not go to New York, but to Scotland, to meet persons having known Jeffrey and his former spouse. She has even succeeded in getting Elizabeth's diary. At the hospital, Julia acquaints herself with her daughter, Samantha, the only one...

Episode 737

At the Orient Express, having had lunch with Ted, Laken comes to become established in the bar with Jake. She suggests that they help each other to speed up the separation - for her unavoidable - between Hayley and Ted. Having passed to see Julia in the hospital, Lionel comes back home and discovers inanimate Caroline on the floor. Her tiredness seems to have regained the upper hand. Mason accepts a new phone call arranging an appointment the following day. When Kelly asks him for news, Mason lies to her by saying that calls have ceased for several days. He comes to visit Julia in the hospital, then packs his suitcases, without explaining to Victoria the reasons of his sudden departure. Jeffrey authorises Kelly to read Elizabeth's diary. She discovers a very mentally unstable woman there. She comes to the conclusion that she committed suicide with the steering wheel of her car. She asks Jeffrey to excuse her for having doubted him, what he accepts...

Episode 738

Mason goes to the appointment arranged by the Indian in Saga broche coffee, in fact a mansion in abandonment. The Indian trusses him up in a chair and, with an accomplice, orders him to sign a document. But Mason understands that Eden is not alive and tries to escape. Kelly decided to put Jeffrey on the testament. She wants to find Mason, but learns from Victoria that he left for obscure reasons. With Jeffrey, she leaves to search his office and grave with the photo obviously rigged by Eden. Paul Marshal comes to see Victoria again for session photos with Chip. Eleanor makes Pearl and Cruz believe that she was attacked in a hotel room where she followed the trace of the kidnappers of Johnny. Cruz accommodates her at home, the time when she has a rest. He is waiting for Carmen, who continues her bad company. On his return, Eleanor watches for Cruz, naked under a simple bath towel. She pretends to faint to fall in his arms. Cain says to Eden that he does not want her to go back home one day and confess her love. Eden gets frightened, especially as Cain goes out of the cabin once again to drink. On his return, she waits for him with a gun, ready to pull the trigger...

Episode 739

Alex explains to Sophia that he decided to let the Ministry of Health give a ruling on the effectiveness of vaccine that C.C. stole from him, without claiming responsibility. Kelly is persuaded that something has happened to Mason. She persuades Jeffrey to accompany her in the desert, in search of the bar in the photo that Eden is in front of. Jeffrey offers Pearl to buy to back his van for their expedition. By hearing their discussion, Eleanor understands that Kelly is on Mason's track. Mason, by trying to avoid his abductors, accepts a dagger in full shoulder. He proves to then be unable to sign the document which the Indian is subjecting him to. Cruz says to Eleanor that he is not fooled of her so-called fainting. Eleanor is forced to admit that she is acting to encourage Cruz to go farther in relations with her. Cruz asks her to leave and sends her to finish her recovery at Pearl's. Scared, Eden fires the rifle in the cabin. Cain takes back the weapon and iterates his feelings. But Eden answers that she will not be able to love another man as long that she or Cruz are alive. Cain packs the suitcases suddenly, prepares several guns and locks Eden up with a key in the cabin. Eden is persuaded that he is going to Santa Barbara, to get rid of Cruz...
