Episode 710

Jeffrey shows himself to be a jealous man of the famous photographer who puts down Kelly for the campaign of Evertan. He takes the initiative in returning him. It is not of course the opinion of Mr Osmond that plans to return Jeffrey in his turn, until Kelly stands up and saves his place. Alex gives Gina a new flat entirely furnished and decorated. To celebrate the event, Gina invites Hayley and Ted to have dinner with Alex. But Ted does not support the friendly gestures of his guest and leaves the party, leaving Gina and Alex only. Back from Guatemala, Caroline feels weakened and suffers from disturbances of vision. While Lionel offers to marry her, Caroline goes begins a feeling of faintness. Eleanor explains to Cruz that she saved his life a second time when, in the hospital, she prevented a man from tipping some poison into his blood transfusion. She pretends to find in her living room the vial of poison which she had picked up in front of home. Lucy accepts a new threat from Addison. Cruz takes a plan up: he records a discussion with her whom he turns on a tape recorder to make Addison believe that they are in his living room and he watches for his arrival by car outside. But Eleanor comes back to Cruz and finds herself taken hostage by Addison, who understands that Cruz set a trap...

Episode 711

Hayley and Ted with their continuous disputes do not succeed in taking out, that it is about Gina, about their more or less chosen marriage or about Ted's social origins. At Johnny's, Jake announces to Ted that he declines his proposal to work for him. To try to recover Gina, Keith comes to give her Fred, a kitten. But since Gina seems to swear only by Alex, Keith leaves to drown his sorrows at Johnny's. Lionel calls his family practitioner so that he practices examinations of health on Caroline. He restarts his proposal to her, which she ends up accepting. But when the doctor calls Lionel, it is to tell him that there is a problem with the results of the examinations. Addison still holds Eleanor in hostage. Cruz succeeds in bursting into his living room and both men exchange gunshots. Cruz falls to the floor, but is fortunately not hurt. Addison, who has succeeded in running away, calls Lucy and understands that she went back to Hayley's place. He goes home and sees back bedding on the sofa. And yet it is Cruz with a blonde wig, who pulls him over. Addison is transported to the hospital. Cain makes Eden become established in the wheelchair which he constructed for her. First stubborn, Eden ends up appreciating it to win her independence. After he searches the chest with memories, Cain leaves the cabin by forgetting to re-padlock it. Eden notices it...

Episode 712

Lionel asks Alex to examine Caroline's medical results. Ted receives a letter arranging to meet him in the gazebo of Capwell property. There, he finds an animal box with a pigeon. A young woman comes into sight behind him: it is Laken, back in Santa Barbara. She tells him she is divorced, left six months ago to live with her mother in New York, before deciding to return see her father. Ted finds her later entirely naked in the middle of property, having been surprised by the gardener while she intended to use the swimming pool. Of course, Hayley surprises them both in an uncomfortable position. Sophia and C.C. understand that the musical box playing the air preferred by Pamela whom they accepted at their marriage was Alex's present. C.C. confronts Alex by telling him that he knows that he was linked to Pamela and that it is for this reason that he has joined forces with Mason and Jeffrey against him. Jeffrey invites Kelly to go filming in Santa Cruz on a pleasure boat which he intends to pilot. And yet once in sea, he confesses to her that there is no filming and that this was aimed only at uniting them far from Santa Barbara. With the storm, the boat fails on an island and the couple must take refuge in a barn for night. Julia announces to Mason that he must go to Eureka for business, before the client asks her to go there herself. She leaves a message for Mason informing him that he can stay in Santa Barbara. But Mason has no message and goes to Eureka staying in the same room as Julia. He cannot leave again, the storm has closed the airport, and no more hotel rooms are free in the whole city. Besides, Julia announces to him that their meeting was cancelled! When she learns by a colleague of Mason that Julia went to Eureka, Victoria imagines that her husband lied to him and goes to Julia's place, sure of finding him with his mistress there. By knocking at Julia's door in the storm, she feels deep pain in her belly...

Episode 713

Kelly and Jeffrey make love in the barn. They finally confess their love. Cain goes out hunting, in spite of bad time. Eden uses this time to get closer to Cain's chest, with the idea of discovering the secrets it holds. But by bending down to remove the padlock, she falls from her chair and is on the floor. Meanwhile, Cain takes refuge in a cave to avoid the rain and is facing a bear who hits him violently. Eden begins being afraid when she hears growling of the bear behind the walls of the cabin. Fortunately, Cain ends up arriving, hurt. He understands that Eden wanted to search his chest, but doesn't reprimand her and is going to store it outside the cabin. Caught in the hotel room in Eureka, Julia confesses to Mason that she had fallen in love him at the time of their union to make a baby. Mason feels more and more guilty to have left Victoria all alone in Santa Barbara and decides to come back, in spite of the storm. In Santa Barbara, Cruz hears the cries of Victoria and is going to search for her in the rain. Cruz helps her to give birth to a small boy. Victoria gets ready to reveal her secret to him, when Mason and Julia burst into Cruz's home and discover that the baby was born...

Episode 714

Sophia and C.C. learn that Jeffrey's boat was spotted failed on the island of Anacapa. There, Kelly and Jeffrey are surprised in the bed by coast guards who have come to search. Back in Santa Barbara, Kelly is informed by her mother that Jeffrey has been conspiring with Mason and Alex to withdraw Alex's vaccine from the firm bought back by C.C.. Kelly does not want to think that Jeffrey could lie to her. In Utah, Cain asks Eden to make more effort to win in independence and to cease remaining dependent on him. Mason acknowledges his baby. Just as him, Victoria, Cruz and Julia are distant and demonstrate no emotion. It is Pearl, who passed thereabouts, who recommends to take the baby and his mother to the hospital. Mason asks the doctor that the child has the name of Channing Creighton Capwell the third, to get the inheritance which was promised to him. C.C. is touched, meaning to Mason that it is proof that he remains married to Victoria for this money. Mason succeeds in having access to the medical records of the baby and changes his blood group from AB+ to A-. Victoria asks to speak to Cruz. She is interrupted by pain the first time, she organises a second meeting, but finally says nothing to him...

Episode 715

Jeffrey tries to be excused by Kelly for having lied to her about his alliance with Mason and Alex. But Kelly, just like Sophia, proves to be stubborn. She confides in Cruz on her doubts concerning Jeffrey. Caroline and Lionel announce their engagement to Jane and Caroline asks her to be her bridesmaid. But the state of her health deteriorates. Lionel asks Alex to speed up research for a vaccine. Alex wants to use Lionel's antibodies, who also contracted the virus before recovering from it. But vaccine requires at least two years of tests before being able to be used. Mason who is at Johnny's, is certain that Victoria told Cruz the truth about his baby. Cruz tells him that it is nothing, even if he suspects something. In the hospital, he succeeds in consulting the file of the child and discovers that his blood group is not compatible with his. Victoria learns by a nurse that her baby was named Channing Creighton Capwell the third by Mason. Victoria who is angry about not being able to give the child a name, announces to Sophia and C.C. that she intends to ask for divorce once her child will have the money envisaged by the will of the father of C.C....

Episode 716

Lionel announces to Laken that he is going to marry Caroline in ten days. Using this absence, Laken accuses Caroline of dividing Lionel from her mother and of throwing things at him. But Caroline makes a new crisis, seeming to gasp for a breath. Laken leaves the residence and lets Caroline with a feeling of faintness fall to the floor. Fortunately, Julia thinks she is unwell and drives her to the hospital. Hayley tells Ted that she feels ready to make love with him for the first time since her rape. But once in the bed, she stops it and feels guilty. In the hospital, Cruz says to Victoria that he knows now that the baby is not his, having seen that their blood group is not compatible. Victoria gets ready to speak to him, but she is interrupted in the momentum when Cruz explains that he has imagined only having a baby with Eden. She explains then to Mason that she said nothing to Cruz. At the office of the prosecutor, Gina approaches Keith for not having made enough effort so that Addison is condemned in prison for more than a year. Keith joins her at home and achieves in enticing her. Half undressed on the sofa in the living room, they suddenly hear a noise of keys in the lock of the entrance. Gina thinks that it is Alex who arrives. Julia goes to drop off shopping at Cruz's and finds Eleanor, once again wondering in his living room. When Cruz arrives, he announces to them that he has decided to go back to Utah, to the place where Eden disappeared...

Episode 717

Alex enters Gina's place while she is in a delicate position with Keith. Keith just has the time to hide behind the sofa. To help him escape, Gina invites Alex to a Japanese massage in her room. But their shouting is so unbearable that Keith has the idea of calling the police and of saying to them that a woman is being attacked. Of course, when the policemen arrive, they have as a reflex to want to stop Keith, which causes a scandal and makes them run up to Gina and Alex. Ted decides to engage Will Morton, the father of Jake, to work at the Abernathy stables. Jake warns him, judging his father as dishonest and too dependent on alcohol. At the stud farm, Mr Abernathy surprises Will who is smoking near the stables and asks Ted to lay him off. Lionel learns from Caroline's doctor that this virus could be fatal. After Lionel speaks to her about her clash with Laken, Lionel finds his daughter and confronts her with one another, by asking her not to lack respect any more for the woman whom he loves. Jeffrey tries to recover Kelly, but she refuses his advances. Referring to a sentence which she pronounced earlier, he comes right in the middle of the Capwell residence wearing armour and a knight's helmet, sitting on a white horse. Kelly makes fun of him and the couple are reconciled. By telephone, Kelly learns from Julia that Cruz plans to go to Utah to follow the traces of Eden. Jeffrey guesses that she plans to accompany him there...

Episode 718

Jane offers Brick to accompany her to a picnic, but Brick proves to be reserved. He ends up explaining to her that he fears of disappointing her. Jeffrey says to Pearl that he let Kelly leave for Utah. Pearl encourages him to join her there. Victoria tells Mason that she decided to nickname her baby Chip. In his absence, Julia comes to visit Mason and takes the new-born baby in her arms. On her return, Victoria makes a scene and orders Julia to put her baby down and to leave her flat. Cain drives Eden in her wheelchair to the shore of a splendid lake. He has a swim there, leaving Eden on the edge, because she refuses to try to swim. She later regrets her choice and asks Cain to see her out there. Cruz is in his hotel room in Salt Lake City in Utah, when Kelly comes to knock at his door. She tells him she wants to accompany him in his last goodbyes to Eden. They both go to a grocery store to ask to find their way and cross Cain, come to make purchases. Later, Cruz asks Kelly to let him climb up the mountain alone where Eden's plane blew up. Kelly ends up coming back to the hotel and discovers that Jeffrey joined her there. Happy to see again him, she comes back with him to Santa Barbara. On their return, they discover that Jeffrey's room was searched. Mason accepts an anonymous call from a man who tells him that Eden is alive. After several difficult hours walk, Cruz arrives at Cain's cabin and enters indoors. Cain, suddenly, comes into sight from behind with a gun aimed at Cruz...

Episode 719

Kelly pushes Jeffrey to lodge a complaint for the break-in of the room, but Jeffrey refuses, seeming to be hiding something. It is in fact a private detective hired by C.C. who is responsible for it. He discovered papers in Jeffrey's indicating he was married to Elizabeth McClain, who was from a Scottish rich family and had died in a car accident, and Jeffrey was at that time accused of her murder. C.C. informs Jeffrey that he knows about this secret. Lionel decides to move the wedding ceremony forward with Caroline in the same afternoon. Jane, Laken, Hayley and Ted join them in the garden of the Lockridge residence where this union takes place. Later, four young guests meet at Johnny's, where Laken and Ted talk about their memories as youths, which upsets particularly jealous Hayley. In Utah, Cruz explains to Cain that he got lost and doesn't reveal his identity. Cain gives him directions on a card. Fearing that Cruz will see Eden's ring left on a table, he encourages Cruz to move to the other end of the cabin. Meanwhile, Eden has a rest by the lake looking peaceful and sees an eagle. Cruz is metres away from her without seeing her. Cain is almost going to shoot Cruz, whom he sees as an enemy.  But Cruz passes on and finds a piece of plane on the ground. He then using rocks piled up as a small stony mountain for the memory of Eden, when the same eagle lands nearby. Back in the cabin, Eden feels a tingle for the first time go through her legs...
