Episode 320

In the bar of the Orient Express, Lionel and Katie Wallace start discussion. Augusta arrives in a fury, accusing him of having had a relationship that resulted in Brick's birth. Ashamed, Lionel apologises for the behaviour of his wife to Katie. The police stop Brick in the airport and ruin his wedding plans with Amy. After dark, Brick goes back by breaking in to the Lockridge residence and searches for financial files. But he is surprised by Augusta and Lionel, who launch the alarm. Mason continues moaning at his father's bedside. Mary tries to cheer him up. During a picnic on the beach, Mason tells her that he loves her. After a call to Mrs Schaeffer, Gina receives actors for an audition for so-called advertising. She records the voice of every actor reading some text which she wrote herself, where it is a matter of death. Nick alerts Cruz about the fact that Dylan and Sam disappeared from Kelly's flat. Eden is depressed about the idea that it is her father's birthday. She has a bath on Cruz's boat, and she drops her glass. Kirk, in the next room, rushes to see what happened. Cruz then comes into sight and finds Kirk attending to Eden, in a dense cloud in the tub. A fight bursts between both men, and Cruz hits Kirk to the face. He asks Eden to make him leave...

Russell Johnson, who plays Roger Bell, the second actor seen by Gina, will come back in 1987 to play Will Morton, Jake's father.

Episode 321

After Kirk leaves, Eden and Cruz have a major dispute on this subject. Eden accuses Cruz for wanting to interfere in her personal life, and for detesting Kirk because he is linked to her moral dilemma concerning her father. Cruz finds Nick in Buzz's bar near the marina. He questions one of the servers, Pearl, who is counting some money. Pearl identifies one of the men having kidnapped Dylan and leads them up to the yacht where he is sequestrated with Sam. Tortured by Carlo's henchmen, Dylan refuses to give him the plan of the gold mine. Cruz and Nick come to help Dylan and Sam, who pretend to be with Carlo willingly. Carlo manages to recover the wrong map regarding the treasure. Eden goes to the Capwell residence. She finds her father with his eyes wide open because of a simple muscular reflex, and is frightened. Back in Cruz's boat, in her bag she finds C.C.'s letter-testament that she thought she had thrown away, but Gina had placed it there without her knowledge. After their picnic on the beach, Mary and Mason also go to Buzz's. Mary finds a pearl in her oysters. Mason makes her leave the formal dress which she had chosen and the one that he had preferred in his room. Mary refuses to show him the one that she finally tried: it is the one chosen by Mason...

Episode 322

Brick is released from prison thanks to Minx, who paid the deposit. Amy and he intend not to wait to get married, even if Brick doesn't have the right to leave California. Kelly asks Cruz for permission to use the boat to organise a honeymoon for the future husband/wife, by re-decorating it in the colours of Hawaii. Nick discovers that he is being followed by one of Carlo's men. He informs him that Carlo discovered that the map is a forgery and that he is coming in 24 hours to see Dylan to give him the real plan for the gold mine. Nick phones Carlo and offers to give him the real plan in exchange for allowing Dylan and Sam to leave quietly. Mason organises for Mary to have a day like the stars, with a limousine, massage, hairstyle and manicurist, before Eden's big party. Watching Eden fixated on her father's circumstances, Cruz tears the letter-testament which Eden thinks to have been written by C.C. in front of her. He encourages her to invite Sophia to their engagement party, but Eden still doesn't excuse her from her lies. Gina continues organising her plan: she steals the guard nurse's beeper, removes the bulb lighting in the corridor leading to C.C.'s room, and reserves the presidential suite at the Capwell Hotel for her and Brandon. She leaves the residence finally, with causes to come back very quickly...

Episode 323

Marisa gives Amy the wedding dress of her grandmother so that she can wear it on Friday, the day of her marriage to Brick. Dylan and Sam discover that the plan of treasure has disappeared from the umbrella. Dylan finds Nick at Eden and Cruz's party at the Orient Express, which has just begun. Both brothers almost fight. Nick leaves to find Carlo. Cruz drives Eden to the home on the beach that he bought for them. They make love there. They then go to the party, where Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr start a song in their honour. Eden is delighted that commissioner Rivers could come to announce Cruz's promotion to Cruz. Gina goes back to the Capwell residence and replaces Eden's dress with the pink dress a double of which she had made. She goes to the Orient Express, pours some drugs into a glass of champagne and publicly toasts in favour of the Capwell's and of Eden. Once Eden finished her drink, Gina overturns a salad bowl of sauce on Eden's dress. Eden takes refuge in the toilets and asks Ted to go and find a spare dress. Eden is horrified when Ted comes back with the dress which haunted her in her nightmares about her father. Cruz suddenly worries about Eden's behaviour and offers to take her home. But Eden decides to wear the dress. In the Capwell villa, Gina does the same...

Episode 324

On board of his yacht, Nick offers Carlo to give him the plan leading to the gold mine in exchange for leaving Dylan, Sam and Janice alone. He arranges to meet him later at the party behind Buzz's bar. Meantime, Nick takes pictures of the plan, and hides his film in a pot in the kitchen at Kelly's flat. In spite of the opposition provided by Dylan and Sam, Nick finds Carlo and gets ready to give him the plan, when an armed man points at them with a gun. In the Orient Express, Eden calls for the commissioner through the microphone. He announces to Cruz that he names him the Captain. Cruz shows his disapproval in front of all guests. He explains to Eden that he wants to stay on the ground, and refuses this promotion. Julia sees Kirk enrapturing of this failure. In a state, at the edge of hysteria, Eden criticises Cruz for his lack of ambition. The guard nurse calls Mary at the party and asks her to come to replace her urgently because of a family problem. Mason, disappointed, decides to go back with her. Gina fears for her plan. She phones the Orient Express and asks to speak to Eden. When Eden takes the telephone, Gina plays her recording: a voice resembling C.C. who asks Eden to let him die...

Episode 325

Dylan and Sam arrive in time to prevent the man from pulling the trigger on Nick. In the middle of the night, under a storm, a fight bursts out between the men. A gunshot is fired and Nick is affected in the shoulder, having thrown the plan into an inferno. Carlo and his henchmen flee. Nick tells Dylan that he took pictures of the plan in anticipation. When Kelly arrives there, she learns that Nick was driven to the hospital. On the spot, furious with Dylan, she asks him to leave her room. But one of Carlo's henchmen prowls Nick, dressed up as a male nurse. Eden doesn't hear the tape which Gina unwinds on the telephone to her. She decides to go back to find her father. Witnessing her fevered state, Kirk insists taking her back home by car. Cruz is worried not knowing where Eden is. Gina, fearing that Eden isn't coming back to the Capwell residence, gets ready to disconnect the artificial respirator connected to C.C. herself.  But she retracts after hearing Eden arrive. She runs to hide in a cupboard in C.C.'s room.  Eden asks Kirk to leave the residence and goes up to the floor. When Gina sees her coming back into her father's room, she plays the tape once again. Eden believes she hears her father asking her to let him die...

Episode 326

In the hospital, Dylan pretends to argue with his brother, criticising him for not keeping a copy of the plan. He knows that Carlo's henchman is spying on them, and manages to persuade him to leave Nick alone. Sophia sees Eden going back into C.C.'s room. Confused by hearing him call for help, Eden gets closer to her father when he suddenly opens his eyes. She heads for the plug of the machines and kneels to disconnect it, when she collapses suddenly with exhaustion. Gina comes out of her hiding-place and sees C.C.'s hand moving. She realises that he is following her movements with his eyes. She grabs Eden's hand and disconnects the machine. C.C. seems to gasp for breath. An alarm starts. Kirk runs up into the room and finds Eden lying on the floor, near the disconnected plug. He takes Eden into his arms and leaves with her from the window. Gina follows them when Mary, alerted by the alarm, enters the room and believes she sees Eden. Gina leaves a piece of the pink dress on the window hook. In the guest house, Sophia tries to have her errors in the past excused by. They suddenly hear an alarm and run up towards the villa. Mary and Mason note that there is no heart or brain activity on C.C....

Episode 327

Whilst waiting for help, Mary and Mason practice a heart massage on C.C.. His doctor shocks him with a defibrillator, and C.C. finds a heart rate. But he refuses to pronounce a diagnosis. Mason explains to Sophia that the machine was disconnected. Sophia remembers having seen Eden going back into her father's room some hours earlier, and persuades herself that she is at the origin of the drama. Julia, who was with C.C.'s doctor in the Orient Express when he was called to the Capwell residence, tells Augusta and Lionel the news. Lionel runs up to the Capwell's to see Sophia, at the great displeasure of Augusta. Lionel tells Warren about his despair to see his mother continuous jealousy in spite of his efforts. Gina goes to the presidential suite at the Capwell Hotel without having been seen. She is persuaded to have killed C.C.. To invent an alibi, she changes the hour of the clock and makes Brandon believe that it is 12:22. Mary shows Mason the notes taken down from C.C.'s machines it was exactly cut at 12:22. Kirk drives Eden up to his flat. He undresses her and puts her to bed. He swears to her to be the only one to be able to protect her...

Episode 328

Amy begins panicking on the eve of her marriage to Brick. She makes him remain sleeping on the sofa in the living room, and manages even to lock herself all alone outside the home. Lionel goes to find Gina at the Capwell Hotel and informs her of what happened with C.C.. He brings her and Brandon back to the Capwell residence. Cruz watches people coming and leaving from C.C.'s room. He asks for fingerprints to be taken from the room. He announces to Gina that C.C. was driven to the hospital, and that he is in a stable state. Gina understands that C.C. is still alive. She goes to the hospital and proclaims that Eden wanted to kill her father, and accuses Mary of negligence. Sophia points out the piece of the pink dress like Eden's that had remained hung on a nail of the window in C.C.'s room. Cruz sees it and collects it preferring to hide it in his wallet. Eden wakes up to Kirk. She thinks to remember having disconnected C.C.'s artificial respirator and takes the blame for having killed him. Kirk recommends saying nothing to anybody for the moment. In the hospital, Cruz questions Mary about what she saw when entering C.C.'s room. Mary confesses to have seen a blonde woman wearing a pink dress leaving by the window. With insistence from Cruz, she says that she believes she has seen Eden...

Episode 329

Marisa and Katie reason with Amy, paniced by her wedding. Janice learns that she was kept to make the central page of a charming magazine. Outraged, Augusta returns from her driver's post. She then makes a scene with Lionel who had tried to comfort Sophia in his car. Cruz asks Mary not to repeat what she told him. Gina discovers that the pink dress which she used is torn. She realises that she has to lose a piece by way of the window in C.C.'s room. She fears that her plan to accuse Eden fails if they note that the dress which Eden indeed wore is undamaged. She goes into C.C.'s room and doesn't find the trace of the missing piece of the dress. At Kirk's place, Eden has a crisis after seeing the dress. Kirk tranquilizes her by telling her that he is going to comfort her. Cruz knocks on the door of the flat. Kirk sends Eden to hide in his room. He refuses to let Cruz enter and tells him that Eden is sleeping. He swears to him that they came back together directly from the party at the Orient Express. Kirk goes to the Capwell residence to take care of business for Eden. Sophia knows that Kirk is lying when he announces that he stayed at the party all night long with Eden. Gina learns that Kirk threw out the dress worn by Eden. She goes to his building and searches the contents of the bin. She recovers Eden's dress and replaces it with hers...

Joe Restivo, who plays Janice's girlie magazine rep, will come back in 1988 to play another character,, Bobby Littlejohn.
