Episode 1820

David discovers that Julia and Cruz knew that Angela paid Warren's bail. He questions them and, facing their silence, understands that Angela is also Warren's alibi and probably his mistress. Angela, Cassandra and Lionel meet at the office of Santa Barbara Conscience in search of Warren. Katrina distracts them while Suzanne speaks with Warren on the telephone. He is in Russia, where he tries to find an old friend, Pavel Ivanov. He then goes to a hospital to conduct his research. Cassandra explains to Mason that she fears that Warren will still do everything to prevent their marriage, that is why she does not want to marry him anymore...

Episode 1821

Lionel explains to Angela why he thinks that she is not the best woman for Warren. Gina gets Craig's assistance to ruin the dinner which Santana had envisaged with C.C.. There, she invites C.C. to view the video of her ultrasound scan. Santana confides in Cruz on the feelings that she begins having for C.C., nonetheless the trouble which he caused to her and to her family. David plays his card on table with Angela by revealing to her that he knows everything about her relationship with Warren. He recommends going to see the police to make a statement if she really believes Warren is innocent. Cruz asks his father to investigate the possible presence of Eden in Mexico...

Episode 1822

Angela makes a statement with the district attorney Stapleton. But he is still persuaded of Warren's guilt. Rafael unites Cruz, Sophia and C.C. to announce to them that he found no trace of Eden in Mexico, and that Cruz's source was not reliable. To the great displeasure of Gina, Santana prepares for having dinner with C.C.. She phones Cruz to ask him to occupy Rosa during the dinner. Cruz offers for Rafael to invite Rosa to have dinner. Both meet against their liking to have to go out together for the evening. Angela does her best to stick the pieces together again with David and to persuade him not to ask for a divorce. Cruz entrusts to Suzanne that he realises that Eden left of her own free will and that he must currently think of taking back his life again...

Episode 1823

Rafael entrusts to Suzanne that he appreciated his evening with Rosa, even if he does not want to confess it to Cruz. Gina re-decorates the living room of the Capwell villa with photos of her ultrasound scan. Santana gets from C.C. that she disposed her photos in the office. Craig, on the pretext of managing C.C.'s budget, refuses Santana some of his plans of decoration. Lionel comes to reimburse Angela for Warren's bail. She confesses to be the mistress of Warren and to have been with him during the gunshot. Craig destroys the detail of the recognition of debts which Warren contracted in Las Vegas. Gina and C.C. get ready for a charity party at the Oasis. But everybody has only in mind the live broadcasting on the television of an interview which Warren will give from Moscow. Finally, the broadcasting begins...

Episode 1824

Suzanne and Cruz watch Warren interviewing Sergei, a Russian he met in prison on television. Together with Lionel, Katrina is confused by this maintenance, which reminds her of memories of East Germany. Lionel invites Sophia to go with him to the charity ball at the Oasis. C.C. is jealous to see them arriving and dancing together. Rafael goes out again with Rosa. While he feared she is simple, he is surprised by her knowledge in wines and painting. Gina goes back with C.C. to the Capwell villa. Santana waits for Gina to leave and C.C. to be alone to show him drawings of the decoration. Gina spies on them, and is satisfied that C.C. admits that she was a good mother for Brandon. Cruz leaves the party with Suzanne, where he bought one of the pictures by auction...

Episode 1825

Santana and C.C. gather Channing Junior's belongings in his room to empty it. Sophia arrives and is shocked to see them removing these memories of their son. Santana persuades her to leave the past behind her and to finally forgive herself with what happened with him. Warren's interview continues on television. Lionel criticises Julia for doing nothing to release Warren. He announces his suspicion concerning Angela, whom he suspects of being at the origin of the shooting against Mason. In Russia, Warren lives it up and gets drunk with his guests. He finds Russian Pavel. In the Oasis, Mason receives a call from Warren for Cassandra and hangs up on him. Cassandra announces to Mason that she has decided again to marry him...

Last appearance of Caitlin Moore in the role of Samantha Capwell. From now on, her twin sister Erin Moore will be only one to play Samantha.

Episode 1826

Katrina is confused to see Warren's interviews succeeding one another on television in Moscow, the events taking place in ex-USSR reminding her of those of East Germany. Lionel criticises Cassandra for continuing standing up for Mason and for undermining Warren by agreeing to marry Mason. Cassandra reminds him that she believes in Warren's innocence, and that she cannot take her position between both men. Lionel announces his suspicion contrary to Angela. He goes to her to question her. Mason asks Dash to use his job with Raymond to spy on Angela. In Russia, Warren offers a Russian young woman to help him to get his friend out of prison, who was incarcerated without motive. Lionel accuses Mason of making light of Cassandra's feelings by marrying while he loves Julia. Mason threatens him with the information according to which he is not the biological father of Warren. Lionel continues criticising Mason without being affected by these words...

Episode 1827

Mason asks Julia to attend his marriage with Cassandra, which will take place the following day in San Francisco. He takes pretext to show Samantha that they are going to remain friendly in spite of this remarriage. Julia ends up accepting. Gina asks C.C. to accompany her to the sessions of natural childbirth. But C.C. refuses, not planning to be present during the delivery. Mason shares his suspicion with Julia on the guilt of Angela in the attempted murder towards him. He thinks that she tried to stop him in his revival of the inquiry into the death of her sister. Julia finds the inquiry file, where it is established that David was drunk and behind the steering wheel of the car at the time of the incident. She hesitates to throw the file into the fire in her chimney, then retracts. Craig learns that Ted's trace was found in China, where he studies geology and seismography. But he decides to say nothing about it to C.C.. He reassures Gina on the fact that he intends to help her to move Santana aside but C.C., then kisses her. Somewhere in a street looking like China, a blonde woman with long hair follows Ted on the street. She enters a boutique behind him, calls him by the first name, then takes a picture of him...

First reappearance of Ted Capwell since episode 1259, from now on interpreted by Michael Brainard.
Eden Capwell reappears during three consecutive episodes, of course played by a stand-in, Marcy Walker having left the show in episode 1773.

Episode 1828

Ted is surprised at having had a photo taken, but does not manage to catch the woman who photographed him. It is probably Eden, who becomes established in front of an easel and undertakes to paint Ted from the photo. Cassandra gets ready for her departure for San Francisco. Lionel tries to dissuade her one last time from getting married to Mason, but he can say to her only it is because she is not biologically related to Warren. It is Cruz's birthday. He receives a letter including indications which drive him to the Oasis. He finds a portrait of Adriana painted for his attention and a second letter there. This time, he must go to his office where he finds a portrait of Chip. Cruz is in trances, persuaded that Eden is the author of the letters and that she waits for him at home. While he returns home, he is surprised by Sophia, C.C. Suzanne and Katrina who waited there for him to make a surprise. Cruz understands that it is Suzanne and not Eden who is behind the game of tracks. After the party, he criticises her in a lively way for having copied Eden's proposal, and leaves the home. Suzanne saves Chip of the beginning of a fire in the kitchen. Cruz comes back and is relieved to find Chip safe and sound. He apologises to Suzanne, who was unaware that she had reproduced the same game as Eden. They get closer and Cruz kisses her. Suzanne gets frightened and runs away...

From this episode, Chase Sanders replaces Paulina Rothe and Sophie Rothe in the role of Adriana Castillo.

Episode 1829

In San Francisco, Cassandra watches on the television from her hotel the last interview accomplished by Warren in Russia. Mason surprises her, but they both try hard not to argue just before their marriage. Eden ended Ted's portrait. She packages the picture and sends it to Mason. Cruz tells Rafael what happened with Suzanne. Suzanne does the same with Katrina. Suzanne and Cruz end up being together later during the day. Suzanne confesses to have feelings for Cruz, and said she planned to go back home so it doesn't complicate anything. Cruz asks her to stay. Mason drives Cassandra to the Palace of Fine Arts where the wedding ceremony will take place. He finds displayed in a park, next to a street painter, the portrait of his brother Ted and recognises him...

It is difficult to understand how Ted's portrait which Eden sends to Mason at the Oasis (therefore in Santa Barbara) has arrived only some hours later in the park of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco...
