Episode 1630
Belinda
Bradley asks Eden not to broadcast the programmes which she completed on rape in
the United States, to avoid them being detrimental to Dash. Stephen meets
Cassandra and Mason in The Lair. He recalls his doubts in front of Mason as for
C.C.'s guilt for the fire which destroyed his film. Aside from this, Cassandra
promises retaliation. Kelly announces to Robert that she does not want to work
for him anymore. Dash's trial begins. Michael is part of the list of the
witnesses for the defence. Julia tells the bar her story of the evening which
led to her rape by Dash. Keith also questions Dash's father about the supposed
harassment which he imposed on one of the teachers with whom he was in love with
in the past. When it's his turn, Dash tells his version of the evening and
introduces Julia as consenting. Julia loses her temper in the room. The
mysterious man phones Eden and speaks to her in French. He tells her that he is
named Andre, and is surprised that she does not remember him...
Episode 1631
Minx
offers to Cassandra to intercede with C.C. so that she works with her on
Capridge Water. Cassandra refuses, estimating to be treated well by the Capwells
on the Oasis plan. She learns shortly after that Lionel has left for Macao for a
few days. Dash's trial goes on. Belinda Bradley calls Michael to the stand. She
forces him to confess his relationship on the evening with Julia while he was
still a priest. She tries to show that Julia does not have morality and quickly
becomes attached to men. Keith then questions Dash's father and speaks about
Eileen Becker, the woman that Dash was accused of having killed during an
operation. He proves that father and son don't know each other that well and
have stayed without speaking to each other for a long time. But the jury only
require a few minutes to deliberate and the verdict arises: Dash is declared
innocent. Julia has an outburst in full court. Mason, Michael, Augusta and Eden
in turn try to comfort her, but Julia prefers staying alone. Once at home, she
overturns everything in her living room and sheds tears over her sofa. Eden goes
back home and lies down. She does not hear the mysterious Andre discreetly enter
her home...
Episode 1632
Andre
enters Eden's room, who is asleep. He leaves the room and goes back down in the
living room, at the time when Amado arrives. In darkness, both men fight. Eden
hears them and just has the time to see Andre's face before he escapes. She
swears however to Amado that she did not see him. Augusta tells Minx that Lionel
has still found no trace of the years that Cassandra would have spent in Macao.
Belinda Bradley encourages Dash to lodge a complaint against Julia for
defamation. But Dash prefers finishing with this affair. Stephen invites him to
celebrate his victory in The Lair. Mason finds them there and almost fights with
Dash. Belinda hears Cassandra speaking and recognises the voice of the woman who
informed her about link between Julia and Michael. She confronts her, but
Cassandra pretends not to know what she is speaking about. Stephen attends the
stage. He finds Cassandra in Mason's hotel room. He offers to repeat nothing to
Mason and not to speak about the fire of his film to C.C. if she agrees to be
part of a psychological plan. Eden falls asleep and dreams about Andre, burgling
a home, when somebody goes up to her with a candlestick. She wakes up startled...

Episode 1633
Mason
becomes the new president of Blue Sky Brigade. So that the association does not
lose the gift that the Oasis is going to be inaugurated, he offers that Capwell
firms publicly admit the important role of the environmental actions of the Blue
Sky Brigade. In exchange, he demands that Dash is definitely banished from the
association, which is what he gets. Cassandra goes to Minx's hotel room to give
her figures on Capridge Water. They both discuss, while staying on their guards,
doubting the honesty of each other. Julia and Michael recommend to Eden to leave
her home in Cruz's absence. But Eden refuses their assistance. She reads a
letter which Andre Wolfe sent her. He seems to have known her for a long time in
Paris. Julia meets Dash in the court. She promises not to leave him alone as
long as he will not have admitted what he inflicted to her. Minx makes Cassandra
go back to the hotel and asks her to sit down. It seems this time she has
decided to tell the truth. Eden goes to The Lair and is facing Andre...

Episode 1634
Michael's
arrival in The Lair prevents Eden and Andre from speaking to each other. Minx
does not dare to say to Cassandra that she is her mother. There, she gives her 1
million dollars so that she helps her to struggle against an alleged attempt
from C.C. for Capridge Water. Cassandra refuses to betray the Capwells and
rejects his money. Minx is devastated, persuaded have lost of any chance of a
rapport with Cassandra. Michael thinks she is tearful in her hotel room. Keith
gets the cancellation of charges and releases Flame from prison. C.C., back from
sound honeymoon trips, overhears a discussion between Kelly and Robert, and
learns that Kelly is pregnant to Quinn. He brings this information back to Eden.
Eden receives a bunch of flowers sent by Andre. Robert invites Kelly to have
dinner on his yacht. She comes, but to announce to Robert that everything is
finished between them. She explains to him that she is not in love with him
anymore, but with Quinn. Flame surprises Robert manipulating Quinn's lucky gold
coin. Asleep on her sofa, Eden dreams about Andre and her, encircled with dozens
of precious jewellery. She wakes up suddenly startled...

Episode 1635
Flame
guesses that she has Quinn in front of her and not Robert. He denies it, but
Flame asks him to show her the scar which he has on his back to prove that he is
Robert. Quinn admits without saying that it is him, and threatens Flame of
retaliation if she stays in Santa Barbara. He then sends articles on Craig's
mafia past to his clients to discredit him. Julia asks Gina to testify in the
series of reports which Eden is going to dedicate on rape. Gina accepts. Keith
helps Brandon to get ready for the election of the class monitors. Cassandra
joins Julia in the toilets of Pacific Bay polo club. She savours her victory to
have earned Mason. Julia replies angrily that Mason will quickly grow tired of
her. Exceeded, Julia drops the client whom she had to defend for her divorce.
Kelly phones Dr Jameson. She announces her wish to abort...
The maître d' of the Pacific Bay polo club, still played by Kirk Thornton, is named John in this episode, while before he had been named Dennis. |
Episode 1636
Eden
interviews Julia, Gina and a third young woman as rape victims which they were
on a set of television. Gina describes in detail what she experienced in her
youth, before Julia speaks about her attack, without mentioning Dash's name.
Dash watches the programme in The Lair. He is interrupted by Michael, in search
of Stephen who has disappeared for two days. Michael questions Stephen's female
lodger, who remembers having heard a dispute including a woman two nights before.
She makes a description of the person who corresponds to Cassandra. Michael
questions Cassandra, who says to have seen Stephen alone in The Lair several
days before. Andre Wolfe leaves a small packet for Eden. He seems interested by
the fancy-dress ball which must be held during the unveiling of the Oasis. Dash
goes to see Julia. He asks her to cease harassing him in the media and
preventing him from revising. Julia accepts provided that he publicly admits
having raped her. Dash finds his lawyer and decides to lodge a complaint against
Julia for defamation. Eden opens the packet which she received from Andre: she
finds a necklace chain there. She has flashes of an identical chain, with a
diamond...

Episode 1637
Keith
surprises Flame in the morgue, searching through Quinn's file. She finds a
pretext for his presence, leaving Keith suspicious. On her return to the hotel,
Gina smells Flame's perfume on Keith and proves to be jealous. C.C. discovers
that Kelly wants to abort. She explains to him that she fears that the drug that
Flame made her take without her knowledge could have an impact on the baby. She
goes to the office of Dr Jameson for the procedure, when Quinn arrives who
succeeds in dissuading her from it. Laken and Amado find each other. They
babysit at Eden's. Eden goes to the appointment at The Lair with Andre Wolfe.
She repeats that, in spite of what he thinks, she does not know him. Andre
refuses to believe her, and calls her "Lisa". Flame enters Robert's
yacht at the time when Quinn takes off his shirt. She points out the absence of
the scar and confirms that she knows now that he is Quinn...
Episode 1638
Quinn
is obliged to admit that Flame saw what she saw. He pushes back her advances and
offers her some money so that she disappears. Kelly comes on the yacht, and
Flame, hidden in a cupboard, hears that she is pregnant. C.C. discovers that
Cassandra and Mason have a relationship. Cassandra confides in him, explaining
to him that she does not think he is in love and that the only one that can
reassure her is Mason. But C.C. announces his disapproval to Mason. Julia
receives a notification of her indictment for defamation contrary to Dash. Mason
offers to defend her, but Julia refuses his assistance. The evening arrives, she
watches in front of her home for Dash's return, hidden in her car. Cruz is back
from his mission in Paris. Amado tells him that a burglar entered the home, but
that Eden opposed to the fact that he tells him. Eden leaves Andre in The Lair
and comes back to find Cruz. At night, she dreams about herself, dressed in
black, stealing jewellery from a rich home. She gets up and leaves a message for
Robert, thinking that these are memories coming from Las Sirenas. Cruz joins her,
but Eden says nothing to him...

Episode 1639
In Pacific Bay polo club, Kelly questions Quinn about thefts which they committed together in Las Sirenas and about Andre Wolfe. Of course, Quinn can only say to her that he cannot help her. Kelly goes on Robert's yacht and finds Flame there. She urges her to leave the city. Flame responds by saying that Quinn has never liked her. Minx visits Maxwell Hammer doing jobs at the new Lockridge villa. In spite of his opinion, she decides to finally tell the truth to Cassandra and arranges to meet her there. Flame goes back to become established in the old home. Quinn makes him understand that she will be unsuccessful in blackmailing him, never again he will he be in love with her. Cruz wonders why Eden did not want Michael to investigate further the attempted break-in. He announces his astonishment to Eden, but she asks him not to ask her questions...
