Episode 1400

Sophia finds C.C. reading the script from her film. He informs Stephen that he is going to put up the money himself to produce the film. Derek meets a member of the committee of Pacific Bay Polo club and makes sure to offer to become member there. He hopes to get closer to C.C., who is also part of it. Brandon is disappointed that Ethan could not accompany him as promised to a Lakers match. Gina explains that she is indeed going to cease seeing him frequently. She dresses in a basketball fan's jacket and offers to accompany Brandon to the match. Bunny entrusts Julia that there is nothing romantic going on between Sasha and Mason whose witness he is in The Lair. Mason asks Julia if it is her signature on the document which he hid from Sasha. Sasha demands that Mason records on a tape recorder a petition for divorce from Julia. Mason complies. At the end of his nerves, he pictures himself choking Sasha...

No many effort was made on the set of Mason's office : we reccognize without any problem Keith Timmons' former apartment, which was itself a reuse of Dylan Hartley's office at the casino Nick's Place.

Episode 1401

Kelly is stopped by a policeman for speeding with a new car on a public beach. Eden and Sophia criticise her for her dangerous behaviour. Kelly ends up going out with the man who stopped her ! The newspaper reports that Travis escaped from prison. Nikki sees him entering the hospital room. Cruz arrives at the tower and Nikki offers to help him to find Travis. But she does not tell him that she saw him. Cruz asks Michael to watch over Nikki, while she gets out of the hospital. Eden and Cruz each prepare, without each other knowing, a holiday. Eden is planning a trip to the beach, playing tennis, while Cruz organised a holiday in the mountains skiing. Not being able to come to an agreement, they decide to go camping. Sasha makes Mason type a petition for divorce and makes him give it to Julia. She asks Mason to help her to produce her own disc. Julia is stunned to receive Mason's petition for divorce. She finds him in The Lair and asks him for an explanation, but Mason does not know what to tell her...

Episode 1402

Kelly is being enticed by a new candidate in Topsy Turvy's, who sees three friends there and asks them to join him. But Kelly ends up getting tired, while Ric tries to reason with her by reminding her that he is fond of her. Accompanied with Michael, Nikki becomes established in Cruz's old small flat, above Topsy Turvy's. She is joined there by Marcos, who reminds her that they are waiting for her to join the Californian Police Force. Nikki reminds him that she is not even an American citizen. Eden and Cruz arrive in a forest and put up their tent. Eden gets the help from a forest employee to organise a candlelit dinner for Cruz near their place of camping. Eden and Cruz have dinner, then go to lie down under the tent but it collapses on them. In The Lair, Sasha and Bunny notice Julia's reaction facing Mason. But it proves to be that Julia understood that the petition for divorce hides a pressure exercised by Sasha. In the car, Mason speaks to her about the incorrect document which Sasha made and that she accuses her for the explosion on Craig's boat. Julia decides to speak about it to Ethan. But she is interrupted by Sasha. She lets her talk with Ethan...

Episode 1403

Phyllis suggests to Mack to involve himself in the polo club to make some money. Exceeded, Mack goes to see Gina and asks her to take back their mother at her home. Phyllis hears them. Not feeling welcome anymore, she makes them believe that she leaves to join a friend in San Diego. She in fact finds Sy, an old friend in a seedy hotel room. Derek entices Theodora Woods to become an official member of the Pacific Bay polo club. He offers C.C. to play with him. Sophia and Stephen ask Theodora if they can film some of their play in the polo club. Mason pictures himself poisoning Sasha. He pours some poison into a bottle and goes to the Orient Express. Julia enters Mason's hotel room and finds the poison. She runs up to the Orient Express and finds Sasha and Mason clinking glasses. She grabs Sasha's glass before she drinks and throws the contents of it on her dress. Mason explains to Julia that he did not poison their wine, but that he wanted Julia to believe him, so that Sasha feels threatened by her. He would like for Julia to make Sasha believe that she is ready to kill her...

Episode 1404

Sy speaks to Phyllis of an affair which he is taking up. During a play of poker, Phyllis wins Sy's bets and two of his friends. She offers to invest 150 000 dollars in his plan. In the Pacific Bay polo club, Sophia introduces Derek to Stephen. She is involved with the auditions of young actors likely to play her partner in the film. Stephen is disappointed by the actors and plans to play the role himself. Derek and C.C. play polo. Derek offers Mack some tips. He shows him the orphanage in which he grew up in, neighbouring the polo club. Phyllis phones Brandon and tells him where she is. As she expected, Gina comes to find her and agrees to welcome her once again at her home. Eden and Cruz get out of their tent and meet facing a brown bear. Eden scares it off by howling at it. They take off walking, and stop in a chalet during a storm. Cruz organised a meal with champagne there. He gives Eden a necklace with a gold nugget hanging on it. Suddenly, they hear a noise at the door. Cruz opens it and finds a young boy, who collapses in his arms...

Episode 1405

The young boy who arrived at Eden and Cruz's chalet is named Buck. He asks Cruz to quickly find his small sister, Hallie, who is lost in the forest. Cruz finds her in the rain. Buck and Hallie prove to be runaways from an orphanage held by sisters, because they don't feel loved. Eden and Cruz go back to Santa Barbara and bring both children back. Michael tells Bunny that he met his bishop and that he definitely abandoned the idea of becoming a priest again. Marcos joins Nikki in The Lair and the press implement their plan. Julia shows irritation facing Sasha so that she begins thinking she is dangerous. Julia suggests that Mason gets closer to Sasha so that she could pretend to be a madwoman with jealousy. Eden and Cruz go home and think about the possibility of adopting Buck and Hallie. Derek dreams about the orphanage in which he grew up in. He goes there, and the establishment proves to be the same one in which Buck and his sister lived in...

From this episode, John Vargas becomes the new interpreter of Marcos Llamera.

Episode 1406

Everybody gets ready for the party in the Pacific Bay polo club. Derek arranges to be sitting down next to Kelly. Mack gets an invitation from Derek and offers his sister to come with him. Arriving there, Gina guesses that Augusta has views on C.C.. Staying home with Brandon, Phyllis' friend Sy arrives, who hastens to give the money promised for the investment. Sophia fears that Kelly will make a new scene with Eden. Kelly puts on a show, dancing in an extravagant way with the young men whom she meets. Both sisters indeed have a discussion, away from the guests. Kelly explains to Eden her feeling of faintness to be the second sister and to have always been in her shadow. Nikki asks Cruz to help her join the police. Cruz tells her that she is going to have to pass just like everybody else at the police college. Mason goes to the party with Sasha and pretends to fall under his charm again. Julia struggles to play her feminine role to be jealous and suffer nonetheless to see Mason dancing with Sasha. Kelly takes out a club from the polo club and goes on the beach. She undresses to have a midnight swim. At her exit from the water, Derek is there, waiting for her...

Episode 1407

Derek gives his jacket to Kelly and goes back with her to the Pacific Bay polo club. Gina is confronted with ancient rivals who make fun of them by remembering her society of manufacturing cookies. Ethan goes away from his home for his job. Laura thinks that he joined Gina at the polo club and goes there. She throws her glass in Gina's face and offers to leave Ethan. Gina, who is not interested anymore, shines and answers that she can keep him. Nikki goes back to the flat and finds Marcos, hidden in the bathroom. Michael arrives and makes his acquaintance. Nikki tells him that Marcos is police, and that she is getting ready to take the entrance exam in the police college. In the stables at the polo club, Julia plays her role to perfection and proves to be menacing towards Sasha. Mason explains to her that Julia has psychiatric past history, and that she was under treatment. He takes Sasha home. With Mason barely leaving, Julia phones Sasha and makes her believe that she is watching her home. Sasha begins getting frightened...

In the ending credits, John Callahan finally joins the regular cast of the series in the role of Craig Hunt.

Episode 1408

Ethan incidentally learns that Laura went to the party in the Pacific Bay polo club the night before. Laura launches into a long discussion where she admits having gone there and invents the whole history about Gina. Ethan then phones her psychiatrist who explains that Laura's psychological state is getting worse. Michael awakens Nikki so that she could take the entrance test at the police college. Her chance facing Cruz and Vic Boswell does not go very well. Cruz gets her a second chance in two weeks. He is surprised that Michael does not want to try his luck. Eden interviews the young person Buck in the orphanage. Derek intervenes and finds his clumsy step. As she needs to re-enact some scenes, Eden asks the sister in charge of the orphanage for permission to begin again. But she refuses, and Buck does not seem co-operative anymore. Cruz learns that Craig was released from prison because of procedure. Derek offers Kelly to join the polo team. A big match is about to begin...

Episode 1409

During the polo match, Kelly falls off her horse. Derek and C.C. help her to get up again. She is not hurt. Derek invites Kelly to his suite. Eden interrupts them and persuades Derek to help her to finish her report about the orphanage. Craig goes to Topsy Turvy's and launches a fight with Ric. Cruz is called and threatens Craig to go back to prison if he does not leave quietly. Sasha insists that Mason gets her a role in Stephen Slade's film. When Julia tells him that Craig was released, Mason realises that he is perhaps a party to the blackmail exercised by Sasha. He follows her to a graveyard where, in the middle of the night, Sasha meets Craig. Craig asks her to organise Julia's arrest for the explosion of the boat. Derek and his butler Alfred go into the basements at the orphanage. Alfred finds files mentioning Derek. Derek suddenly recognises a table, on which a horse was engraved...
