"Our job, the one of doubling, does not have memory. There is no reference work, no bible which inventories who doubled who on cinema and on television. I thus wanted to create this databank and to make it available, on paper and internet. Because, with the post-synchronisation, the public is far from being passive : often, some not-professionals friends ask me why such American actor changed of voice or say to me that they appreciated or hated the French version of a film or TV show. If the spectators have the right to choose a good film, why they do not have the right to signal a good doubling ? I  thus wanted to partly support me on them to establish the voting system. Like a ceremony of literary awards in a big restaurant, the Rythmos d'Or (the "Golden Rythms") would have been awarded to the actors and authors having achieved a quality work in the past year. As long as the lively forces of doubling will not meet, as long as they will not fight together for the same cause, the working conditions have not a lot of chance to improve..."
