Ally Walker now directs

Like Robert Fontaine Jr. (see the News below) Ally Walker (ex-Andrea Bedford) also dashes into directing. Her movie, Sex, Death, and Bowling, begins its release in festivals on October 02, before an official theater release on November 06 of this year.
The movie, also written by Ally, speaks about complicated family relations around a character played by Adrian Grenier, of whom the element which binds his family is in a bowling tournament.
It is the first fiction directed by Ally Walker, after the noteworthy documentary For Norman : Wherever You Are, which she had produced in 2005.

It's time for Robert Fontaine Jr. (ex-Rafe Castillo) : Mi America, the movie he wrote and directed, gets finally released on screens !
We have already talked to you about this movie in the News of 10/25/2013, while Robert ended the shooting. Two years later, the movie knows finally a release in the United States, at first in New York City on October 16, then next week in Los Angeles.
We do not forget that Robert Fontaine Jr. called for one of his Santa Barbara partners to accompany him on screen : Michael Brainard (ex-Ted Capwell) indeed holds one of the main roles.
Encourage from now on Robert and Michael on the movie's Facebook page and... in theaters from October 16, then !

A Martinez's double comeback

It is today, on Monday, September 21, that A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo) enters the soap Days of Our Lives on NBC (see the News of 05/15). A plays Eduardo, a secret character with a dark past.
The actor finds there again several Santa Barbara former partners, as Eileen Davidson (ex-Kelly Capwell), Melissa Reeves (ex-Jade Perkins), Joseph Mascolo (ex-Carlo Alvarez), Stephen Nichols (ex-Dr. Skyler Gates) and Thaao Penghlis (ex-Dr. Micah DeAngelis), who has also just joined the show.
A Martinez is also starring in season 4 of Longmire, of which the 10 new episodes are available on Netflix since September 10 (see the News of 11/26/2014). He is joined this season by Ally Walker (ex-Andrea Bedford), who plays there the recurring role of Dr. Donna Monaghan.

Vincent Irizarry secretly shoots

It is yesterday that Vincent Irizarry (ex-Dr. Scott Clark) revealed that in the greatest secrecy, he joined the cast of the soap-opera Days of Our Lives for quite a month !
Indeed, the actor began to shoot the new episodes currently produced, which will be broadcast on the American television on NBC in... January 2016 !
Vincent plays Deimos, a new character close to the Kiriakis clan.
We hope some great scenes with A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo), also a new recruit of the soap (see the News of 05/15).

New separation for Robin Wright and Ben Foster

Robin Wright (ex-Kelly Capwell) and actor Ben Foster cancel their engagement... for the second time !
We already announced on last November 12 the separation of the couple, after nearly two years together. In January this year, the couple had reformed, then became engaged again.
Here we learn the cancellation of the wedding plans and Robin's new separation with the actor, whom she had met on the filming of the movie Rampart in 2011 (see the News of 11/19/2011).

Robin Wright third time nominated

Yesterday were announced the nominations for the 67th Emmy awards. And for the third consecutive year, Robin Wright (ex-Kelly Capwell) is nominated in the category outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role of Claire Underwood in House of Cards.
The ceremony will take place on September 20 in Los Angeles and will be aired in the United States on Fox and in France on Série Club. We wish this year again good luck to Robin !

Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman together again

Kim Zimmer (ex-Jodie Walker) and Robert Newman (ex-Kirk Cranston n°2) have never shared a scene in Santa Barbara, but they were during more than 18 years Reva Shayne and Joshua Lewis, one of the super-couples of the soap Guiding Light on CBS.
Six years after the cancellation of the show, here they are together again on stage in the musical Gypsy at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh from July 10 till 19. Sharing the main roles, Kim and Robert are going to make the fever rise !
