It
is a few weeks after his arrival in
Santa Barbara
that
Robert Barr purchases a beautiful and big house. And not any
of them
:
Eden and Cruz Castillo's
neighbouring house which,
furthermore, overhangs directly this one.
The
inside is very richly decorated : valuable furniture, decoration made by
statuettes and by diverse works of art... The atypical ground of the entrance,
made by black and white checkerboards stone floor, gives way to a parquet in the
lounge. It is in this room that Robert hides Ondine, the sculpture of crystal
siren, symbol of his loving past with Eden, which Cruz will break here.
A
balcony gives directly, down below
the house, onto Eden
and Cruz's
garden and jacuzzi.
It is very apparently the main motivation of Robert's choice for this house,
that he will live finally only a few
time.
At
Robert's departure from Santa Barbara, it is Sasha Schmidt who comes to settle
down there. At least until her lover Anthony Tonell confines her there with
Mason Capwell, and until she finds then refuge at Julia Wainwright's.
