The
Andrade

The Andrade family lives in a small house away from the rich districts of the city. The daughters of the house having already left the family home, only Danny, the younger son, lives there with his parents, Rosa and Ruben. The Andrades’s Hispanic origin and their status of simple employees of the Capwell wealthy family (Rosa is a maid, Ruben is a gardener) appear clearly on the screen through the modest and typical character of the inside of their house.
Once the front door crossed, we penetrate directly into the lounge, the main room of the house. A faded sofa with floral patterns spreads out along the facade, under the window.
At the end of the lounge is the kitchen, where very likely a second door allows to reach the garden.
The house will know some damage during the earthquake of November 1984, with an explosion of gas which may have been fatal to its inhabitants.
If the Andrade house is only little shown on the screens in the first episodes, it will completely disappear as from January 1985 once Ruben disappeared too from the storylines of the show. It will be from now on exclusively between the walls of the Capwell mansion that will officiate Rosa.
