It is on the port of Santa Barbara that is situated the brasserie Buzz's Place, of the name of his owner. Always busy and warm, the bar is a place of meetings and conversations very appreciated from 1985 till 1989.

If we speak about brasserie, we could almost speak just as much about a pub, so much the place looks like these Irish bars with a very rich decoration, all in wood and very lively. The walls of Buzz's Place, painted in red, are indeed covered of paintings with marine subjects of every forms and every sizes, hung on in a totally anarchy way. Diverse objects reminding the ocean, the navy or the marine animals, strew the walls and the visible beams.

The entry gives directly access to a big counter with a right angle, behind which are served drinks and today's specials. An old golden plated cash register is always used by the waiters. A narrow corridor, at the right bottom of the bar, gives access to the kitchen.

The rest of the space is reserved for the tables where the customers can sit down to take a meat and drink.

On the bottom wall, on the left, we can reach a recess where are some public telephones and the access to the toilets. In some episodes, a piano, accessible to everyone, is also present to the right of this recess.

Buzz's Place will know a first end in 1986, further to the fire of all the place, caused by Hayley Benson. Amy Perkins, who worked as a waitress, will moreover die there. Thanks to the courage and to the workforce of his usual customers who will help in its reconstruction, the brasserie will be reborn from its ashes under the name of Johnny's Place. It is indeed Brick Wallace, Amy's husband, who will buy back the place and will decide to rename it of the name of Amy's son. The inside will however be rebuilt and decorated again almost as before.

At Brick's departure of Santa Barbara at the the end of 1987, it is his father, Lionel Lockridge, who will take back for a while the management of Johnny's Place, by bringing his know-how - often disconcerting for the customers - in the kitchen.

Among the waiters who have worked there for a while, we find besides Amy Perkins : Pearl Bradford (it is moreover in this place that he made his first appearance), Ken (Hayley's rapist), Jody, Kevin, Joe, Jake Morton, Rita Grant, and Lionel Lockridge.
