Within
the Capwell Hotel is the office of Peter Flint, whom C.C.
Capwell names as manager after his engagement with
Kelly in 1984. It is a simple room in the grey tones, with a plate glass window
dominating the bay. It is in this place that Peter deals with his professional
affairs as his private ones, with Mason Capwell, Augusta Lockridge or Ginger
Jones.
Peter is assisted in his work among others by Veronica Gayley, his
secretary (whom Amy Perkins will replace for a while), and by Richard Adams, to
whom he asks to install the famous two-way mirror in the presidential suite (read
the profile of Richard Adams).
