Upon
her arrival in Santa Barbara in summer 1991, Suzanne Collier lives at first at
Cruz Castillo before moving into a small apartment of the city. Little time
after her settling in, she suggests to her friend Katrina Ruyker to come to move
with her, Katrina trying then to take a little of distance with the Capwells
and her permanent presence within their property.
The set is identical to the one previously used for the guesthouse of the Capwell mansion, but with some colors reminding that the place is now occupied by women : the internal side of the front door is painted in mauve and covered with stencil pink leafs, colored dishes throne in the kitchen... In the middle of the room, a small wooden barrier between arches separates the main room of the corridor at the bottom. A big sofa occupies the central space, then comes the exact same fireplace as in the former set.
The door hidden by the first arch by entering gives access to the bathroom, and very certainly to the bedrooms.
Katrina will leave the apartment to go back to live at the Capwell mansion at the beginning of 1992, letting again Suzanne live there alone until her departure of Santa Barbara.
