Just as modest as she is herself, Celeste DiNapoli lives in a small apartment under the roofs. We discover it for the first time when, to help the police, she decides to play the bait by inviting at her place the prime suspect in the video rapist case, Dr. Zack Kelton. The entire apartment has a small old-fashioned side which seems offset regarding to Celeste's former job. Quite bright, the walls are cream colored and the decoration is very simple. The front door opens directly onto the one-room apartment in the middle of which sits a round table and chairs.

By entering on the left, a door leads to the bathroom. Then, a low wall creates a separation between the living room and the bedroom, at the rear. In the lounge part, there is a coffee table and a single sofa, which turns its back to the bedroom side. The bottom of the room, where is the bed, is framed by exposed brick walls, painted with cream-colored like the rest of the apartment.

In early 1989, Celeste is joined in her apartment by her two sisters Lisa and Emily, whom she hosts with pleasure despite the lack of space.
