The Last resort agency, the detectives' agency created by Cruz Castillo in 1987,
occupies two big rooms within the Capwell Hotel. First of all a reception, with
the desk shared by Carmen (Cruz's sister, who works there as a secretary) and
Elena Nikolas, hired as a detective.
Then a big spacious office, Cruz's one,
which is supposed to give an image of work and seriousness to the various
customers who come there. It is Sophia Capwell who, by friendship for Cruz, took
in charge the decoration of the place a few days before the opening of the
agency. It explains the colors and the rather feminine furniture for an
essentially male working team (Pearl Bradford and Cain Garver are also employed
as detectives).
