The DeAngelis family | ||||||||
|
The DeAngelis form a very mysterious family, among which each of its members seems surrounded with an aura of mystery and secret and even sometimes of treason. Nobody really appears to be the one he claims to be, and it is very difficult to guess the deep nature of their soul. In the game of who is whom, the DeAngelis family takes a malicious delight in confusing the issue and, alternately, in coming to light under a different day.
First member of the family, the road of Dr. Micah DeAngelis crosses the one of Julia Wainwright, letting glimpse the veil of mystery which weights on this family, because he hides himself behind the pen name of Marcus Disgrazia. For a while, nobody can say if he is livened up by good or bad intentions when, in particular, he is at the bedside of Samantha, of Julia, or of Suzanne Collier.
Mystery and lie also surround Abigail Beckwhite, the matriarch of this family : supposed to be dead, more than her shadow, it is her ghost who, maybe without displeasure, haunts the walls of Ballymoor and which hangs over this family. Especially as, very fast, we discover that her hand is at the origin of the plots against Julia and Samantha. Abigail is also at the origin of the accident of her own daughter, Mariah. But Abigail's misdeeds do not stop there, because she also tries to eliminate her own granddaughter, Aurora, to prevent her from getting the family inheritance.
Mystery too when Micah discovers the return of his son, while he has just operated him for an appendicitis.
Only Aurora seems not to be affected by the DeAngelis devils : is it because she is potentially a victim or because she chose to love rather of being imprisoned by the mysteries and the secrets ?
This family, which seems to re-form around Micah, is however lacking of consistency (the relation between Micah and Jodie Walker is the proof), of link with either the Capwells or the Lockridges, and does not possess all the qualities so that it can take as much place as the Perkins or the Andrade family.
