At the San Marcos Inn, Pamela makes C.C. believe that he is powerless because of Sophia's relationship with T.J.. C.C., gives into the hanky-panky of Pamela and sleeps with her to prove her that she is wrong. Back at home, Pamela cannot help bragging about her achievement in front of Kelly and Jeffrey. In the absence of Jake, Pearl keeps Carrie and is finally allowed to be sweet-talked by the baby. In Mexico, a party is organised in favour of the heroes. Cruz is surprised at finding Guillermo, his old keen uncle of magic and Indian traditional powers there. He announces to Eden that she will see the place of her marriage with Cruz in a dream. Contrary to what was said to Cain, Andrea discovers that it is one of her bullets that killed Kathleen. When the agent Tony Martini disembarks to offer her to accompany Richard towards the United States, Andrea accepts without hesitating, in the hope of knowing who really killed her father. While the party is in full swing, Cruz comes to search for Eden on a white horse, in front of applauses and cries of joy of the villagers...

By talking with his mother, Ted understands that she has a relationship with T.J.. In The Lair, Jake and T.J. notice a new customer, Margot, having problems with her car. Ted arrives in waterspout and threatens T.J. of retaliation if he does not cease seeing his mother frequently. T.J. knocks him to the floor to tranquilize him. In Santo Tomaso, Julia surprises Mason by joining him at his hotel. Mason fears that she will discover that he is sharing the same room as Victoria. To hide from his wife that Julia has joined him, he runs from one to another at the time of lunch, by inventing various pretexts. But both women end up meeting and finally making peace. In Mexico, Cruz takes Eden on horseback up to the landmark of his uncle Guillermo. He celebrates the love and joins them during a sacred and ancestral ritual at the top of a hill...

T.J. offers Margot a job as a waitress in The Lair. Pamela announces to Mason that she is going to sell the home to move in with C.C. at the presidential suite of the Capwell Hotel. Mason goes there to confront his father and discovers that he does not have the same intentions as his mother. Gina arrives at Scott's home under a false pretence to hide the key of the home of Well from him. She goes with Keith in search of indications there concerning Hal, but they come back empty-handed. However, Scott has in fact missed an important appointment at the hospital and sees himself refusing the chase of his boarding school. He finds himself transfered to the private hospital of rehabilitation where Victoria stayed. Victoria is there, in Mel's room who had a relapse. Thrown into a panic at the idea of being dark again with drugs after her divorce, Victoria calls her mother and asks her to join her in Santa Barbara to back her up. While Gina does the same with C.C. there, Keith visits Pamela and makes her believe that he has an audio recording of her discussion at the San Marcos Inn where she tells C.C. about her adventure with Hal. Pamela admits the facts. The evening arrives, Mason comes back to Julia completely drunk for their first party together...
Eden and Cruz come back to Santa Barbara and learn that Sophia and C.C. parted. C.C. explains the situation with Eden who refuses to accept it. Kelly sends for Sophia at home and, with the help of Ted, tries to make her talk to C.C.. But Sophia feels forced to consider her relationship with T.J. to be an error and leaves. Andrea announces to Cain that she is going to Washington to accompany Richard and to question him about the death of her father. Cain tries everything to follow her, including telling her for him to be recruited as an agent. But Andrea wants to sort this affair out on her own and refuses his company. C.C. comes to find T.J. in The Lair and fights with him. He puts him to the floor and T.J. does not get up again. C.C. then has flashes of the death of Hal and fears once again that he caused his death...
Sophia goes to see Eden and Cruz and manages to make them understand her choice to part from C.C.. T.J. slowly regains consciousness from the blow to his face. C.C. is going to find Pamela and takes her with him to the hospital to find out the state of T.J.. Gina and Keith follow their trace, understanding that C.C. is haunted by the death of Hal. In spite of the disapproval of Ted, Margot comes to find Sophia to inform her about T.J.'s accident. On board of the plane towards Washington, Andrea grants the right from Richard to go to the toilet. Whilst waiting for him, she discovers that Cain slipped on board of the plane. She hears a noise in the toilet and discovers that Richard disappeared. He probably slipped towards the luggage hold, where he jumped off the plane with a parachute. Back in Santa Barbara, the agent Tony Martini suspects Andrea of having let go of Richard in exchange for information concerning the death of her father. Andrea asks Cain to leave her...
C.C. discovers that Pamela has invested in the secret plan of the development of the country-club without telling him. Pamela, happy of her achievement, asks Mason to be their lawyer in this plan. But he refuses. She then offers Jeffrey to come to work for her, but he understands that she acts only to manipulate him and even shows him her resignation of her post in the oil industries. Kelly, who thinks that C.C. has chosen Pamela as a business partner deliberately, shows her the resignation of the Pharmaceutical company Hang glider. Rita finally gets out of the hospital and collects her daughter from Pearl and Jake, upset to be parted from her. Andrea receives Harry's letter with a bullet slipped into the envelope referring to the killing of her father. To go back to Cain, she surprises him with a young kid who waits in the boat. Victoria's mother asks Mason for an explanation as for the end of their marriage. Tori claims from Julia the first cheque of alimony which Mason owes her, by threatening her to bring an action against her. Anxious, Julia announces this to Mason, who seems to be threatened from the light...

By seeing his mother in T.J.'s arms in the middle of the gazebo, Ted decides to move out the Capwell residence. He then learns from Kelly that T.J. is a gigolo, who sponges off old lucky ladies. After seeing T.J. in the bar Ted gets completely drunk. Margot tells him not to drive and takes him to a hotel room. Pamela intervenes so that the job interview with Jeffrey does not succeed. C.C. offers Eden to manage the country-club, but Eden declines his offer out of respect for her mother. Well Clark discovered that Gina and Keith came to search his home. Gina is obliged to confess to him what she discovered about Pamela and Hal. Well finds Pamela in the Orient-Express and is violent. Keith stops him. Carmen, Cruz's mother, surprises him by arriving in Santa Barbara. She is delighted with marriage between her son and Eden, but wants the ceremony made official. Cruz gives Eden a very ancient heirloom which Carmen wished that he gives it to her before their union...

Victoria accepts Mel's visit, who had a relapse into drugs. She offers to accommodate him, in spite of her mother's opinion. Mel then has a feeling of faintness and Victoria drives him to the private hospital where Scott takes care of him. Tori once again claims a cheque from Mason to be able to pay her own bills and to take care of Mel. Mason finally accepts, but is suspicious that his former spouse is doing drugs once again. Pearl fears that Rita is packing for Kansas. To keep her, he writes her an anonymous letter indicating that a lover would be ready to give in to her. Rita is persuaded that it is Jake. Ted confides in Mason. Mason finds words to encourage him to give up drinking alone to forget his problems. Cruz accepts Harry's package: it is a figurine which Cruz had sculpted some years before. Seeing that Andrea is moved by his work, Cruz decides to give it to her. Andrea confesses to Cain that she went out with Harry in the past. With a gesture of jealousy, Cain destroys the figurine. He discovers that it has been signed. Cruz arrives and explains to Cain that it is his signature. But Cain realises that it is the same sign as on the bullet which would have killed Andrea's father...

Carmen visits a church for Eden and Cruz where she would like them to get married. But, in accordance with Guillermo's predictions, Eden has just dreamt about another place, the location is not known to her. Kelly learns that it was Pamela who stopped Jeffrey's recruitment. She runs to find Jeffrey at Pamela's house, whilst Pamela offers Jeffrey a financially beneficial proposal to manage the country-club. Pamela disclaims this accusation, but Jeffrey knows that Kelly is telling the truth. Kelly then goes to The Lair and makes insulting comments towards T.J.. T.J. seizes her, when Sophia enters. Keith meets Madeleine, the old housemaid of the San Marcos Inn and, with the help of Gina dressed up as a judge asks her to confess that she saw Pamela together with thirty-year-old Hal earlier. But Madeleine refuses to speak. Scott asks Cruz to investigate the disappearance of his uncle. Cruz accepts and invites C.C. home to question him...

Cruz questions C.C. about Hal. C.C. denies knowing anything concerning him. But Cruz decides nevertheless to agree to lead the investigation for Scott. Questioned by Keith, Pamela admits having had an adventure with Hal and explains that he had left Santa Barbara one day without reason. Gina and Keith go to the Capwell residence and search the cellar for Hal's body. Sophia tries once again to reason with Kelly as for her relationship with T.J.. Facing the good results of the Armonti enterprises, T.J. encourages Sophia to take back the reins of her firm. Cain does not dare speak to Andrea about the link which he discovered between Cruz and the bullet which killed her father. Jeffrey has the confirmation that his mother intervened to stop his appointment. Against the opinion of Kelly, he argues with her on this subject. Exceeded by their shouting, Kelly suddenly collapses on the floor...
