Episode 860

Out of her window, Gina uses her binoculars to look over at the garden of the Capwell property and sees Sophia talking with an unknown person. This unknown person then calls her to inform her that he arrived on Pamela's oil rig as planned. Keith arrives to see Gina unexpectedly and discovers that she can see. In front of Scott, he drops many hints, but Gina's secret is safe. Gina then goes to his office to thank him for his silence and finds Keith in gallant company with his new secretary on all fours under his desk. Thinking that he will find him with Pamela, C.C. goes to Mason's hotel room and finds him in a dressing gown with Julia, after their night of love.  He makes them feel guilty for their deceit towards Victoria. Mason then goes to Julia's house and discovers Chip there. He understands that Tori is not at her mother's and makes Julia tell him the truth. He goes to the private hospital and proves to be completely unsympathetic towards the difficulties his wife faces. Tori then goes to see Julia whom she accuses of trying to ruin her marriage in her absence. Cruz wakes up in the hospital. It proves to be that his doctor is paid by Richard. Eden gets worried more and more about the risks of the mission which he accepted...

Episode 861

Lionel announces to Cain and Pearl that he decided to buy back Johnny's, but he intends to relieve his cook's place. Pearl offers to replace him, feeling more at ease there than at the Last Resort Detective Agency. Ed, the henchman paid by Sophia, takes the initiative in blowing up a part of Pamela's oil rig. Several workers are hurt and burnt. Well Clark intervenes as an expert and maintains that it is sabotage. Pamela comes to accuse C.C., who defends himself from it. But he begins suspecting Sophia when he sees how much she takes to heart this accident. All the more now an oil slick has declared itself along the beach. Volunteers, among whom Kelly, Pearl and Cain, have arrived to save the seals and the sea gulls. Sophia does not cease feeling guilty...

Episode 862

In Hawaii, Cruz has nightmares by imagining to be killed by a concealed man. Pamela comes to lodge a complaint with Keith for sabotage. With the help of Well Clark, they review the stolen wage earners likely to have been paid by C.C. to cause the explosion. They stop on Ed Thompson, who did not come back work since. He claims 20 000 dollars from Sophia to leave the city. Stunned Sophia arranges to meet at The Lair during the day. There, she is welcomed by T.J. who prepares meals for the volunteers who have come to help the animals on the beach. She cracks in front of him, before Ed arrives. As she did not succeed in obtaining all the money, Ed threatens her physically and T.J. helps. But Ed knocks him out cold after several violent blows...

Episode 863

Sophia treats T.J. of the blows which he accepted. As he suffers from dizziness, she accompanies him to the hospital and thanks him for having intervened. Gina finds the photo of Ed Thompson in Keith's office. She goes to the Capwell property and watches Sophia making her understand that she knows everything about their sabotage. On the beach, Cain is helped by a blonde young woman to whom he complains about the delay of the employee of the national Agency charged with the protection of the environment which must come to make an appraisal. He then leaves to wait for him in The Lair and discovers that the employee in question is other than the young woman, who is called Andrea. Victoria leaves the private hospital to find Mason and Chip. Angie, her therapist, asks Mason to show more support. An audience of reconciliation is held in the affair of the baby of Rita Grant, the mother. But no agreement is found. As she finally decides not to put any more stress on Victoria, Julia decides from now on to limit her contact with Mason to strictly professional business...

Episode 864

Andrea Bedford, who turns out to be a childhood friend of Eden, visits Pamela then C.C. with a view of starting her inquiry into the sabotage of the oil rig. Julia accepts a visit from Lipton, who hired Rita Grant to have their baby, in the hope of making them abandon their claim. But the couple does not want to hear anything about it. Gina gets to be the nurse of Brandon for the day. Keith lends her a tiny camera so that she can take compromising photos of the Capwells. Gina sees Sophia with Ed Thompson in the gazebo on the Capwell property and takes plenty of photos. But she is careful not to speak about it to Keith, and gets permission from Sophia to keep Brandon for dinner, in spite of the ban from C.C.. Eden and Cruz leave Hawaii to come back to Santa Barbara by air. It seems that Richard is capable of following Cruz's trace thanks to a transmitter he put on him...

Episode 865

Cain organises a party in The Lair to collect funds to save the animals from the pollution by the oil. To please Andrea, he goes to the hairdresser and finds Pearl there, testing a new cut on the advice from Carmen. Carmen invites Blister, whom she has just met on the beach, to accompany her to the party. Jake gives an engagement ring to Hayley. Gina offers to pay for her wedding ceremony. Victoria is once again confronted with Julia during the holiday. Hayley comes to comfort Ted, who is depressed all alone. She follows him outside and is nose to nose with Blister, completely intoxicated behind the steering wheel of his car. Hayley is hit by pushing Ted out of the route of the vehicle. While Gina feels an odd shiver, Hayley pronounces the last words whilst lying on the ground, in Jake's arms...

Episode 866

The funeral for Hayley takes place. Jake bears a grudge against Ted to have once again benefited from the assistance from Hayley before her death. The description of the van which hit Hayley reminds Carmen of that belonging to Blister. Jake finds his trace and almost chokes him. Keith tries to comfort Gina, before the ghost of Hayley appears to say goodbye to her. Ted, then Jake, each accept the same visit. Kelly and Jeffrey's accusations of sabotage against C.C argue once again about Pamela and Kelly is surprising in the gazebo of the Capwell property with her mother and Ed Thompson. Sophia tries to clear herself by explaining that she has acted to protect her family. Shocked and with her suitcase packed, Kelly decides to leave Jeffrey temporarily. The night arrives, on the beach, Carmen, Lionel, Laken, T.J., Ted, Gina and Jake light candles in the memory of Hayley. She appears facing them, but from now on nobody can see her...

Episode 867

Victoria discovers a room key of the Capwell  Hotel in Mason's business. Gina discovers that Scott remained in the hospital to have dinner with Kathleen. Andrea and Cain finish their dinner on the beach. Andrea begins embracing Cain, but he apologises and puts an end to their date.  In position of force, Gina asks Sophia to intervene to allow her to take back the role of a nurse for Brandon. Sophia complies and asks Mason to prepare papers, without C.C. knowing. Julia, who discovers that Mason is working on a nurse's affair of a child, thinks that he plans to get Samantha from her. Sophia gives the money claimed by Ed Thompson to him, but he asks her for 100. 000 dollars more. In The Lair, she tells the full story to T.J. who promises to help her. Pearl is called to the rescue to pass for a policeman and to frighten Ed at the time of the delivery of the money. But the trap ends badly and, by getting hold of it, Ed fires a gunshot towards Pearl with the revolver he had brought with him. He is driven to the hospital. Sophia, at the end of her nerves, understands that Ed has escaped with all money there...

Episode 868

Pearl's operation goes well. At the hospital, Keith comes to question him about what had taken place, but Pearl refuses to speak. Scott arrives to put an end to the harassment of his patient, but Gina defends Keith and is taken to the nurse Kathleen. For Scott, their break is used. Mason confirms to Sophia that he is taking care of the papers for the nurse of Brandon. Sophia then brings Brandon to Gina, excited with happiness. Ted does not understand his mother's decision and bears a grudge against her to act behind C.C.'s back.  Mason finds Julia in his office. Julia is struggling to not succumb to his advances. Andrea finds Cain at the Last Resort Detective Agency. She succeeds in convincing him and they embrace each other. Later in her hotel room, Andrea is surprised by a man in black on her balcony...

Episode 869

Mel offers Victoria to make a film on their rehabilitation. Pamela learns that Gina is the nurse of Brandon. She questions Brandon, then Gina, to try to find out by what means she could persuade C.C.. Keith visits Gina and makes fun of her when she puts on her black glasses. He did not see that Scott has just arrived, and so to he discovers that Gina can see. Rita Grant has a lot of success for the nurse of her baby, loses her temper against the allusions of Mason's greed and suddenly feels a sharp pain in her belly. The manager of the Capwell Hotel asks Cain to investigate break-ins made in several rooms. Andrea slips into the offices of Last Resort Detective Agency and takes photos of the plans of the hotel. She then confides in Cain about her past, notably the fact that her father, an ambassador, was assassinated. Jeffrey decides to join Kelly, who has left for New York to spend a few days. Without news of her brother, Carmen phones Hawaii and learns that Eden and Cruz had left four days ago to return to Santa Barbara. Cain is alerted that a break-in takes place in one of the rooms of the Capwell Hotel. He goes there and is facing two persons in the dark...
