Episode 70

Taken on an aura of his status of hero, Peter decides to take the revenge. He tells Ginger about the 30 000 dollars which he has already paid to her to return to the Capwell Enterprises, without that he reports her to the police. Ginger ends up complying. Mason recovers the money stolen by Peter, but hesitates to lodge a complaint against him. Peter responds to him that he will not hesitate to tell the press of the origin of the drugs found in Joe's motorbike. He uses this to even claim an increase! Alerted by the service of the personnel, Peter calls Amy and learns that she is a Perkins. He decides nevertheless to keep her to his post up to Veronica's return. Mason accepts the report of the private detective which he had hired to find his mother: Pamela seems to have left Santa Barbara. With his fastened suitcases, he goes aboard of the plane flying to Nice. There, Gina accepts a call from C.C.. . But she has the bad idea of letting him speak to Brandon, who tells C.C. that Santana is with them in Nice. C.C. gets very angry. Peter accepts Ginger's visit again. Ginger brings him a gun worthy of a shooter and pledges that he definitely gets rid of Joe Perkins. Joe just, together with Dominic, concludes from the elements in his possession that Lionel Lockridge and Sophia Capwell were lovers. After a mask of diving, Lionel finds a swimsuit covered with blood right in the middle of his bathroom. While he is unaware how they arrived there, he realises suddenly that it is the accessories that Sophia carried the day of her death...

Episode 71

Peter goes to see Kelly and confesses that he lied to her about his past. To be excused, he offers to help her to prove Joe's innocence. Kelly accepts and begins by speaking to him about Dominic whilst taking out one of the letters from Dominic out of the bag. Peter scribbles on a piece of paper a word of appointment for Kelly by imitating Dominic's style. Joe, dressed up as old man, drives Peter without knowing it to Dominic. Peter admits the man who attacked him in his office and knows now that it is Joe's alibi. In Nice, Santana is surprised to see off-loading Mason in her hotel room. Mason gives her a splendid necklace and an invitation to be taken out.  Cruz shows C.C. the worrying results of seismological analyses performed in the region when, some minutes later, a light and quick jolt surprises the inhabitants of Santa Barbara. At the same time, Dominic writes a note of appointment to Lionel. Lionel learns from Warren that he stole gold coins from the Capwells after knowing that they were a present from Lionel to Sophia. When it comes the hour of appointment, Lionel goes to the graveyard and discovers an imaginable version of Sophia there which calls him...

Episode 72

At the graveyard, Lionel is confronted by Sophia's ghost who asks him to admit the truth about her death on the boat. Barely delayed by his emotions, Lionel is facing Dominic some minutes later, who questions him about Sophia. In Nice, Gina accepts a call from C.C. who asks her to come back to Santa Barbara to take control of urgent financial problems. Learning this news, Santana hastens to reserve her return on the same flight, with Mason. Cruz informs C.C. of the imminent risk of an earthquake in Santa Barbara. Eden refuses to believe in this possibility. Augusta tells Warren about the circumstances of his meeting with Lionel. She is interrupted by Summer, who has arrived to take diving classes with Warren. Both begin flirting, but when Warren tries to kiss Summer, she begins to be afraid. Lionel finds Augusta in the museum and confesses that he is worried about losing her. He is then taken by Eden who he accuses of wanting to make him mad. Questioned about their discussion by Augusta, Eden suggests to her that Lionel sees another woman frequently...

Episode 73

Augusta asks Lionel to re-form in the sound "circle of the truth" to find out if he sees another woman. Lionel swears to her that he isn't seeing anyone. He then goes then on the beach where he finds Eden. Eden tries to find out if he was her mother's lover. Meanwhile, by searching the bathroom, Augusta discovers the swimsuit covered with blood. Upon the return of Lionel, she welcomes him by opening the dressing gown, letting the aforementioned vest appear which she threaded. Ted reserved his father's yacht for a romantic party with Laken. Jade is delighted for her friend. After talking with Eden, Cruz informs Rosa of his fears concerning an imminent earthquake in the region. Marisa and John are invited by Amy to a small holiday to celebrate the reconciliation of Kelly and Joe. Kelly shows Joe the letter which Peter has just slipped under their door, thinking that it came from Dominic. Joe decides to go without waiting for the appointment in forested reservation. At his arrival, Peter is already there  waiting for him, parried to fire...

Episode 74

Augusta makes a scene with Lionel, accusing him of having an affair. She later goes to Peter's office where she has a discussion with Eden. She discovers that she was in the same place as Lionel the previous day, and thinks immediately that she is his mistress. Joe is chased in the forest by Peter, armed with Ginger's rifle. Joe escapes his shootings and succeeds in disarming him. But Peter seizes another revolver. While threatening Joe, he recognizes to be the one who hid the cocaine in his motorcycle and admits that he knows he is innocent of Channing Junior's murder since the beginning. Gina must go away in Los Angeles for business. In spite of the disapproval of C.C., Santana insists that she entrusts him with Brandon for those days. Warren goes to the Capwell residence to try to recover the gold coins which he stole from them. But Kelly refuses to return them to him and then accuses him of the murder of Channing Jr.  Assaulted by this, she is helped by Ted. She just accepts at this instant Dominic's phone call which deflects not knowing about appointment which would have been fixed with Joe. Kelly understands that it is a trap. At the time when she finds Peter and Joe in the forest, a fight gets underway between both men in the course of which a gunshot blares suddenly...

Episode 75

Peter is wounded by the bullet. The police arrive and stop Joe while Peter is being driven to the hospital. In the ambulance, he begins confiding in Kelly about the evening when Channing Jr was killed, when he suddenly loses consciousness. John visits his son at the police station and assures him that he believes in his innocence. C.C. goes to Santana. He answers the telephone and learns that she has reserved two plane tickets for Rio. Across the mountains, Ted follows Warren on horseback, who has recovered the gold coins. Lionel goes to Sophia's grave and decides to tell the truth about Eden. He asks Eden to join him there and begins speaking to her, when they both are surprised by Augusta who runs away. Cruz is in John's office, the seismologist, when suddenly the seismic measuring device panics. Augusta, who makes a stopover at the edge of a cliff, is suddenly surprised by the breath of a very violent wind...

Episode 76

It is at 4.21 p.m. when the first jolts of a colossal earthquake takes place on this 12th day of November, 1984 which hits Santa Barbara. Ted finds himself wedged inside the cave where Warren arrived, on horseback, to hide the famous gold coins. Lionel leaves Eden at the graveyard and tries to help Augusta, who is sliding off a cliff, attached to a branch. Rosa, who is right in the middle of the Capwell residence which falls in ruins, is helped by Ruben and Cruz. Kelly, who has arrived at Dominic's place, follows him into the basement of the building. At the Lockridge residence, Laken and Brick get out without damage there. They find Minx hidden in the Egyptian tomb which Lionel had given her. Joe, for his part, helps both policemen who are leading him to prison, out of the car which risks blowing up. With a good grace, they let him flee. While Marisa and Amy welcome home some neighbours, Andrade, Mason, C.C., Santana and Brandon are safe and sound. As for Danny, he meanwhile has continued being fast asleep. But suddenly, a second jolt is felt...

Episode 77

The first volunteers, Eden and Cruz, bump into each other at the help centre for the first victims of the earthquake. It is there that Marisa finally finds John, an injured man, who dies in her arms. While Kelly and Dominic find themselves trapped under the debris of the building, Augusta and Lionel, who have slid down to the bottom of the cliff, are currently trapped in the bottom of a chasm. Warren succeeds in moving stones blocking up the entrance of the cave and helps Ted get outside from it. Ruben and Danny find Santana and Brandon. It is this instant when Santana chooses to reveal his father, confused, that Brandon is his grandson. All this prevents them from seeing that the gas line broke loose from the wall of the kitchen...

Episode 78

Laken is in search of her parents. Promiscuity helping, Lionel tells Augusta of his relationship with Sophia and the circumstances of the accident at sea which cost her life. Mason finds unconscious Santana and Brandon because of the gas leak. When he comes back home later with Rosa, Ruben causes an explosion with a match and is seriously hurt. In the hospital, Peter awakes out of his coma and asks to speak to Kelly. Kelly is wedged under debris, who has been joined by Joe. Both unite unofficially by marriage ties. Some metres from there, Dominic reveals his true identity when, delighted with the union, she calls Kelly her "daughter"...

Episode 79

Cruz and other first-aid workers help Kelly and Joe. For his part, Dominic has succeeded in getting out. Augusta and Lionel too are helped. Marisa informs Amy and Jade of the death of their father. Santana is informed by C.C. that her father was a victim of an explosion. Gina, back from Los Angeles with Summer, finds Brandon. Santana, who has come back from the hospital, is disappointed to learn from Mason that Brandon already left. It is this opportunity Mason takes to offer her a hand in marriage...
