Episode 680

Sophia visits Brick in prison. She is shocked that C.C. does not instinctively believe in the innocence of her son. Ted attends his first appointment with Sharon, Hayley's therapist. But feeling uneasy, he leaves before the end of session. He finds Brick in prison and asks him to tell him that he did not rape his wife. Sophia reminds Ted that he was also was wrongly accused of rape in the past. Kelly organises a graphologist in Dr Nikolas' laboratory. Jeffrey makes him compare his writing with that of the author of the anonymous letter received by Mason. The graphologist does not think that they match. Eden puts on a brown wig and dresses up as prostitute to help Cruz find Brick's alibi. But Cruz prefers to work alone...

Episode 681

At Johnny's, Lionel fights with Ken, the barman about Brick. Jane takes clothes to Brick in prison, as well as photo of him and Johnny. After a first instant of hesitancy, she ends up making him understand that she thinks he is innocent of Hayley's rape. Mason asks Julia who the father of her baby is. She tells him that it is Pearl. Mason questions Pearl, who agrees to lie for Julia. Cruz finds Mason at his office to talk about Victoria's unborn baby. Eden does the same with Tori, before finding Mason on the harbour. Victoria and Mason continue maintaining that the baby is theirs. Mason goes to see Julia and asks her to tell him the truth. Julia ends up confessing to him that his baby is his. Mason tells her that if she had of told him earlier, things would have been different. Julia, in tears, asks him to leave her alone...

Episode 682

Hayley and Ted still argue about therapy. Ted learns from Gina that she was also a victim of rape in the past. Ted goes back to see Sharon and agrees to start therapy. Gina steals boots found at Brick's place, considered to be documentary evidence, to get Keith's attention. Mason receives a new anonymous letter containing death threats. Kelly thinks that it is Jeffrey who sent them, even if he continues denying it. She drives Mason to Dr Alex Nikolas' laboratory and introduces him to Jeffrey as being her stepbrother. Mason is shocked, all the more when he learns that his mother died by committing suicide. Jeffrey criticises him for having neglected their mother. Mason informs C.C. of his discoveries. He gets drunk in the bar in the Orient Express. While he waits for the lift to arrive, a man comes into sight behind him and takes aim at him with a revolver...

Episode 683

The arrival of Victoria puts to flight the armed man. Dressed up as a prostitute, Eden questions a professional about a possible indication that can exonerate Brick of the rape of Hayley. But the prostitute is in fact a colleague policeman of Cruz. Cruz meets a procurer who tells him the name of the prostitute who can act as a witness of defence for Brick. For love of Sophia, C.C. releases 750 000 dollars asked as a deposit for Brick. Mason is still under the impact after Jeffrey's revelations concerning his filiation and the death of Pamela. Dr Alex Nikolas gives a reception at the Orient Express to announce the state of progress of his research on a miracle medicine. Gina does her best to entice him.  The armed man comes into sight and gets ready to pull on Mason. Jeffrey has the reflex to push Mason out of the trajectory of the bullet. The shooter, a man in the past condemned by Mason, proves to be the author of the letters of threats accepted these last weeks by him. Mason finds Jeffrey in his flat to thank him for having saved his life, but Jeffrey refuses any friendly gesture. While Eden takes Victoria home by car, a vehicle comes to hit them violently...

Episode 684

By learning that it is C.C. who paid his bail, Brick refuses to leave prison. Sophia, Lionel, Julia and Jane try to persuade him to accept the money, but Brick prefers staying in his cell and waiting for the true rapist to commit a second offence. After their car accident, Victoria and Eden are driven to the hospital. Victoria and her baby are unharmed, but Eden is moved into the operating theatre. The doctor tells Cruz that Eden was six weeks pregnant and that she lost the baby. Cruz undertakes to announce the news with Eden. The doctor fears that this second miscarriage prevents Eden from being able to ever carry a pregnancy to its full term. By learning news, Victoria feels guilty to expect the only baby that Cruz could one day have...

Episode 685

Eden learns that even though she lost her baby, she will still be able to have children. Cruz offers her to go to the mountains in Utah both to get married. A proposal which does not win over C.C.. In the court, Cruz falls on the man responsible for the accident that caused Eden's miscarriage. The man turns to be particularly racist against Cruz and Mason beats him on the face to avenge Cruz's honour. Brick learns that he is a suspect for the rape of Hayley. Jane comes to visit him in prison and entrusts Johnny with Julia for the evening. C.C. confirms to Mason that Pamela committed suicide last November. Mason tells Victoria that he hired a private detective to find the man who accompanied his mother until her last days...

Episode 686

Hayley goofs to C.C. by saying to him that, with her, Ted has begun therapy. C.C. goes to Sharon, the therapist, who succeeds in persuading him of the interest of appointments for Ted. Alex Nikolas invites Gina to have dinner. First evening, Gina plays intellectual to impress him. But in the second appointment, Alex discovers Gina in his bathroom, the big toe wedged in the tap, with Keith by her side. He however does not bear a grudge against her. At Johnny's, Gus announces to Caroline that he has just found a job in Chicago and that he must leave in the evening - even with Alice. Mother and daughter say their goodbyes. In Alex's laboratory, Kelly accepts two calls from laboratories Hang glider pharmaceutics. By discussing this with Jeffrey, she learns that, in spite of the hate which he dedicates to Mason, it is not him who wrote the letters of insults...

Episode 687

Brick calls Hayley and asks her to come to visit him in the prison. He confirms not to bear a grudge against her any more for the death of Amy and that he is very innocent of her rape. Jake comes to get his last business from the Abernathy stables. Later, Hayley joins Ted, well bothered with almost poisoning a mare. Shone Ted asks to think carefully before deciding to take back common life. C.C. decides to buy back Hang glider pharmaceuticals with the idea of hiring Kelly there, who hangs around not working. Jeffrey, who worked for maintenance in this society, informs Alex that he was engaged there. Gina continues attempting to entice Alex by playing the prude enthralled by reading and by museums. She even gets a guided tour of his laboratory. Jeffrey, who finished his work there, puts Gina on guard against Alex...

Episode 688

On the morning of their first working day, Kelly and Jeffrey are surprised to discover that they were engaged in the same society and occupy neighbouring offices. Their boss asks them to think about a campaign of advertising for beauty products and Kelly wins membership. Once again, Mason forgets that he had promised to have lunch, then dinner, with Victoria and stays at his office together with Julia. Victoria can only prove to be jealous. At the office of her psychiatrist, Ted meets Lucy, a young woman raped one year before and who seems not to have regained the upper hand yet. She tells him that she had tried to commit suicide after her rape. Cruz announces to Eden that he is going to join her with delay in Utah because he was called for a mission to escort a Mexican governor. This gap works because, when he is asleep, he dreams about a snowy cliff where just the hand of Eden is sticking out of some snow. Fortunately, it was only a nightmare and Eden is well alive. Even if a mysterious silhouette watches, hidden...

Episode 689

Mason asks his banker to open an account for Julia's baby and to deposit 5000 dollars there. Julia tells Eden her will to be a single mother. In spite of the insistence of Eden, she refuses to reveal the identity of her baby. At Johnny's, Lionel offers Caroline to work with him at the museum, to collect funds. Without having given him an answer, Caroline leaves the bar to go for a walk on the beach. She smells a presence by her side and calls for help. Pearl, who had left his research because of fog, succeeds in helping the unknown person escape. But when the police arrive there, all traces of the steps and Thai of pillow left by supposed rapist have disappeared. In the Orient-Express, Cruz is approached by the ambassador of the governor of Baja in Mexico who tries to entice him by praising his charisma. But Eden arrives and tranquilizes the ardour of the young woman. Cruz cannot however refuse the mission which was entrusted to him, in spite of his desire to leave now with Eden in Utah...
