Episode 640

C.C. tells Sophia that Victoria is pregnant. Immediately, Sophia thinks that Cruz could be the father. C.C. questions Ted about what he saw when he found Victoria and Cruz in the light house. Ted is obliged to admit that they had intimate relations. C.C. informs Mason that he knows everything about Victoria's baby. Stunned Mason asks him to leave her in peace. He tells Tori that it was his father who had her flat searched, and that he knows that she is pregnant. Ted surprises Hayley and Jake having a good time in Abernathy stables. He tells her that his father knows everything about Victoria and Cruz. Hayley accuses him of having betrayed the secret. Sophia and Lionel prepare for the charity ball which must be held the next day in the museum. Kelly tries to approach her mother, but Jeffrey keeps her from it. He is afraid that the police, who prowl the museum, will see them. They are almost noticed by Keith...

Episode 641

Eden, Cruz and Pearl are back in Santa Barbara. Cruz discovers, alarmed, that Keith became the new prosecutor again. Sophia and C.C. announce to Eden the plan to find Kelly during the charity ball in the museum. Julia entrusts Pearl that Mason is the man with whom she tried to have a baby with. Victoria is afraid to put herself into a relationship with Mason, but he shows her that he is ready to make the step. Cruz offers to Eden to move back into the beach house with him. She accepts and becomes established with him there...

Episode 642

Mason reassures Victoria on the fact that he feels capable of bringing up a child that is not his. Both kiss each other for the first time. Sophia and C.C. see an announcement in the newspaper that Kelly knows that they are waiting for her during the fancy-dress ball which will be held in the museum. They want to get the list of the guests to find out what fancy dresses each is wearing, so to spot Kelly in the crowd by elimination. Keith discovers the announcement and guesses that it is a call for Kelly. Everybody gets ready for the ball. Gina dresses up as lady Godiva and goes for a walk in a dense cloud under long blonde hair. In The Purgatory, she almost accosted by a policeman. In the museum, Kelly locks Jeffrey up and dresses up in a samurai fancy dress adorned with a mask. C.C. asks Mason to marry Victoria and to adopt her baby to be born as being his. He speaks to him about an important inheritance from which the child could benefit. In the crowd, Kelly goes up to her mother. Keith spots her and tries her to arrest her. Kelly pushes him back and escapes. But immediately, Keith faces up to a second masked samurai...

Episode 643

Hayley and Jake's car has a breakdown. Ted is jealous to see Hayley coming back late without having told him. Kelly and Jeffrey, both disguised as men in samurai outfits, leave a mess in the museum. Jeffrey manages to get out of the building, while Kelly runs to take refuge in the room where she had remained hidden with Jeffrey. The policemen try to find them and Kelly hides in magician's box. Lionel intervenes behind the policemen and their watch so that nobody looks in the box. Once the policemen leave, he releases Kelly from her hiding-place. Keith goes back to the room and finds a samurai. He removes his mask and discovers that it is Lionel. Meanwhile, Kelly finds Jeffrey outside. After the departure of the guests and of the police, they go back to hide in the museum. Julia thinks that she is pregnant. She goes to announce the news to Mason, but he thinks that she wants to put an end to their contract and says goodbye to her. Julia is thrown into confusion, especially once her doctor confirms to her that she is pregnant. Mason, he, offers to Victoria to marry him. Back in the beach home, Cruz gives Eden her own key to the home. Hayley and Jake both end up in the Purgatory incidentally. Jake and Hayley leave with his car, but they have an accident. Whilst braking, Hayley's head hits the windscreen violently...

Episode 644

Jake wakes up in the steering wheel of his car and helps Hayley, hurt in the forehead, to get up to the Purgatory. Ted joins them there and walks Hayley back home to the Capwell residence. He goes back to the Purgatory and accuses Jake of having been careless. He hits him to the face and Jake answers him. Kelly insists on going to the Capwell villa, by entering the tunnel which is in gazebo on the property. Jeffrey, reserved, follows her. There, he stuns a policeman about to see them and leaves an incorrect message on the walkie-talkies of other policemen to move them away. Keith arrives with Gina. His men grab Ted and Jake who came back to the villa. Kelly and Jeffrey slip into Jake's car, which ends up at the Abernathy stables. Victoria finds it difficult to take Mason's wedding proposal seriously, as much as they are not in love with one another. Mason tells his father that if he marries Victoria, it will not be because he gives in to his demands...

Episode 645

Victoria still hesitates to accept Mason's proposal. At Johnny's, she discovers that Brick is not Johnny's biological father, but notes that it does not prevent him from loving him as his own son. Julia and Mason claim the same law firm without knowing it. When they meet nose to nose in the waiting room, they both withdraw. Julia entrusts Pearl that she is pregnant. Alice announces to Caroline and Lionel that she is moving in at her father's. Lionel offers a cruise to Tahiti to Caroline. He decorates the living room with flowers and prepares cocktails. But Caroline, who has left to visit Gus, takes her time to come back. Lionel proves to be disappointed upon her return. Eden, Cruz and Mason find a 50-French franc ticket in the Capwell garden. They think immediately that Kelly and Jeffrey passed thereabouts. Mason suggests that they could get away the day before using Jake's vehicle. Eden and Cruz think that they are hidden perhaps in the Abernathy stables...

Episode 646

Caroline and Gus think about a neutral place to announce the truth to Alice about her origins. Gus offers a chalet in the Ironhead mountains which he knows well. Jane and Warren have dinner together at Johnny's. Eden and Cruz make light of Gina and Keith by making them believe that they know where Kelly is. They get them to follow them to the harbour, and let them think that they left to join Kelly on the ancient oil rig which accommodated the casino. Keith makes Pearl drive them to it. Once inside the abandoned casino, Gina and Keith note that Pearl left with the boat and that Eden and Cruz made fun of them. Very irritated, Keith has very invidious words towards Gina. Gina threatens him to lead her plan of blackmail against the Capwells all alone. In Abernathy stables, Kelly finds a signet ring which she appears to recognise in Jeffrey's business. Followed by Jeffrey, she goes to the graveyard at Joe's grave. Eden and Cruz arrive at the stables and find the uninhabited place. On their return, Kelly and Jeffrey find Cruz, then Eden. Both sisters throw themselves into the arms of one another...

Episode 647

In Abernathy stables, Kelly asks to see all her family united. Cruz thinks about a plan. Keith finds an abandoned run-down canoe that he manages to get to the bank from the oil rig. Gina has the load to fill in, then to row. Ted informs his parents that Eden saw Kelly. He tells Hayley in confidence in spite of C.C.'s reservations. On her return, Gina finds C.C.. C.C. suddenly has a mild heart attack. Help arrives and he is driven to the hospital. Mason, who spent the evening at Victoria's place, joins all his family there. Keith prowls in the corridors of the hospital, spying on everything taking place. The doctor proves to be panicky. Eden phones Kelly in the stables and informs her that the plan takes place as planned. Victoria announces to Mason that she agrees to marry him. Stunned Mason entrusts that his father is not dying and that everything was staged to deceive Gina. Victoria then feels ridiculed and accuses him of having softened her up so that she gives in to his proposal...

Episode 648

In the hospital, C.C. has heart failure. The doctor tries to revive him, in vain. He announces to the Capwells that C.C. died. Sophia asks for his body to be transported up to the Capwell residence for a last respect. In the ambulance, Sophia and C.C. rejoice. Hayley takes new clothes to Kelly in Abernathy stables. The ambulance leaves C.C., locked up in a coffin, in the Capwell villa, and then goes to Abernathy stables to search for Kelly and Jeffrey. Cruz hides them in the cellar in the Capwell residence. Caroline joins Alice and Gus in the mountains. Having skied, she decides to announce to Alice that her mother did not die, because she is her real mother. Alice criticises her parents for having lied to her and makes Caroline admit that she knew that she had been committed in an asylum and that she did not help her. She runs away from the chalet. In the cellar, Kelly discovers that Jeffrey's signet ring is the same as Mason's ring. Keith, persuaded that all of this is only a trick, goes up to C.C.'s coffin and the pokes him with a needle. C.C. gets up again. Everybody runs towards the cellar to hide Kelly and Jeffrey...

Episode 649

Eden and Cruz arrive in the cellar and scare off Kelly and Jeffrey. Keith arrives with two policemen. Cruz overturns racks on them with wine to slow their chase down. To take revenge, Keith arrests Cruz for hindering the police. Eden visits him in the parlour of the prison. Kelly and Jeffrey run away through the Lockridge property. They take refuge in a bus filled with Japanese tourists who have come to visit Santa Barbara. Jeffrey takes the place of the driver and Kelly passes for a news guide. They exchange their place when Jeffrey proves to be capable of speaking Japanese. A policeman gets aboard of the bus. He goes down with the tourists when Kelly makes a stopover to refresh herself. Immediately, Kelly and Jeffrey run to take refuge in a new hiding-place, the home of the university. They hide in clothes to pass as students. Nevertheless, Kelly begins losing hope...
