Episode 610

Even face to face, Eden and Cruz do not manage to make peace. Ted gives Hayley the alliance that he bought from her for Christmas. Hayley is delighted, especially when she discovers that sacrifices that Ted made in order to be able to acquire it. Lily joins Brick on the construction site at Buzz's and tries once again in vain to have her past actions excused. Cruz finds Eden at the Capwells. They end up kissing each other. Eden is hopeful. Gina learns from Hayley that Sophia and C.C. have to be in Antigua. Hayley informs Ted, Eden and Sophia what she learnt. Sophia and C.C. ask Ted not to tell Hayley that it is a frame-up to trap Gina. Gina goes to the airport, and discovers that the bad weather had postponed all flights. When she discovers herself that deprived C.C. could not have taken off, she understands that Sophia and C.C. made light of her. Meanwhile, the couple are in a room in the guest house for a night of love...

Episode 611

Hayley and Ted spend a romantic evening in the Orient Express until Ted tells her that his parents made light of Gina and that they stayed together in Santa Barbara. Hayley accuses Ted of not having trusted her to be able to tell her earlier. She goes back to the Capwell villa, where Gina accuses her of having said nothing to her. Lionel and Gus discuss Alice. Gus finds Alice in a party. But Paul's arrival puts Alice in all states. Gus reassures her and Alice goes up to his room. Upon Caroline and Lionel's return, Alice has disappeared. Gus fears that she will throw herself into a panic if she meets a policeman on the street. He criticises Caroline for having known that his daughter was committed and to have done nothing for her. Mason discovers that Gina did not leave for Antigua and that she is about to trap Sophia and C.C. with the photos of Brandon. When Gina arrives at the guest house, she finds Mason in the bed with a huge plush bear. When she finds Sophia and C.C., C.C. pretends to have just got back from New York. Gina promises Mason to take revenge...

Stoney Jackson, the interpreter of Paul Whitney, seems to have undergone plastic surgery of the nose since his last appearance.

Episode 612

Pearl, Brian and Jane find Alice asleep on the construction site at Buzz's. Gus arrives and does not appreciate seeing Brian with his daughter. C.C. discusses the plan of forgery-abduction of Kelly with a henchman. Victoria learns from the police that her agent has disappeared with all her money and money from all actors and actresses in Hollywood that he manages. Mason visits to comfort her. He asks Julia to help Victoria to recover her money. Julia speaks with her doctor to determine if she has a problem of fertility. She speaks about it with Mason. In front of the tree of the Lockridge's, she dreams about a big declaration of love with Mason at the end of which they would kiss each other...

Episode 613

Cruz continues helping Brick in the reconstruction of the bar. Julia enters the hospital to undergo medical tests linked to possible problems of fertility. Mason accompanies her and re-decorates her room during her absence. Ted is productive with Hayley, she agrees finally to let him carry her. On Christmas Eve, Gina feels alone: Lily does not want to stay with her and Brandon refuses to go with her to the mountains. In the Orient Express, C.C. prevents her from remaining there to have dinner with his family. Gina ends up at Buzz's and tells Cruz her problems. While she says that she never wanted to fell non-existent, she gets an electric shock while touching a metallic post during the storm. She then starts to see an angel who accompanies her with all the people she knows but they don't acknowledge her. She discovers that if she had not existed, Buzz's would still be opened and Amy would still be alive because Lily would not have been born. She discovers that Brandon would be an unknown for C.C., and that Eden and Cruz would still be together. Finally, she discovers that Mason would live with Mary because she would have never gone with Mark without her intervention, and she would have never died. Gina regrets having done all this...

It will be necessary to wait for episode 1839 before seeing Lily "Light" Blake again in the series, played by Paula Irvine.
On television, Brandon watches It's a Wonderful Life by Frank Capra, a film of circumstances after watching this episode.

Episode 614

Minx and Lionel visit Julia in the hospital and find Mason with her. Julia is forced to confess to Minx that Mason is the man with whom she is trying to have a baby with. Gina, still fainted, follows her dream. Still accompanied with her angel, she discovers that without her, Hayley would have never met Ted, and that Brandon would have turned out badly. She also sees that Kelly would have been sentenced to death because the tape proving her innocence would have been never found. She wakes up and decides to make peace with Sophia and C.C.. She finds Mason in the Orient Express and apologises for the trouble which she caused to him with Mary. Eden gives to Cruz an engraved watch. In the middle of the jobs at Buzz's, Eden, Cruz, Ted, Lionel and Caroline distribute the holiday food to the needy. Minx, Sophia, C.C. and Gina come to help them. The Capwells then phone Kelly, in the Swiss, to wish her a Merry Christmas. Everybody is very full of emotions. Gina arrives and Sophia tightens the telephone. Gina, confused, is unable to speak and escapes by running. She goes back to see Sophia and C.C. in the Capwell villa, she has decided to give them the tape. But before knowing what her intentions are, C.C. has very hard words to say to her. Gina pulls herself together and decides to continue her blackmail by keeping the tape...

First reappearance of Kelly Capwell since episode 522.

Episode 615

Victoria explains to Mason that she lost all her money. She goes to Santa Barbara to get assistance. After speaking about Brian, Gus warns Alice against becoming infatuated with a white person. Back in the Lockridge villa, Alice surprises a very close Jane and Brian, on the point of kissing each other. Gus demands that Alice comes to live with him. Caroline refuses and wants to speak about it with Lionel. Jane overhears their discussion and is worried about Gus's potential violence. Eden announces to Cruz that it is time that they continue their life each for their part and pass onto something else. Mason recommends for Eden to continue fighting for Cruz. Cruz finds Eden in the Orient Express and returns her the watch which she gave him. Eden discovers that Victoria is back in Santa Barbara. She joins her at the beach bar and accuses her of not having finished it with Cruz. After her departure, Victoria feels a violent pain in her stomach and has a feeling of faintness. Mason thinks she has been lying on the floor...

Episode 616

Gus drives Alice home, in a small sad and not very homely flat. Alice forces herself to seem comfortable, but Gus sees that she will not be able to be happy there. He offers to prepare food in the Lockridge residence. Brian asks Jane questions about her pretence in Roxanne. They go to kiss each other when Alice arrives. Mason drives Victoria to the hospital. He bumps into Julia, who has come to get her results of her medical examinations. She thinks that he came for the same reason, but he explains to her that he is there for Victoria. Very quickly, Mason understands that Tori is pregnant. He makes her confess to him that the father of her baby is Cruz...

Episode 617

Gus continues criticising Caroline for having left his daughter to favour her love stories with rich men, just what she is doing with Lionel. Alice goes back to live in the Lockridge residence. Eden bumps into Cruz in the hospital where he had come to see Danny. She entrusts her mother that a high school friend organised a meeting with her brother for the Christmas Eve dinner party on the 1st January. C.C. and Ted give themselves a day off and go fishing. Ted announces to his father that he would like to work with the horses. C.C. finds this idea ridiculous and refuses to help him. Ted reminds him that it he not there to do everything that his father expects from him. He gets an appointment in the Abernathy stables. C.C. coughs non-stop for the morning and seems ill. Gina is worried that nobody is present at the holiday meal which she organised...

Episode 618

C.C. is confined to bed because of influenza. Gina cancels his party and does his best to prove to be nice with him. But C.C., in spite of its tiredness, is only it pushing back. Santana and Brick send for Cruz in the Purgatory, a club where they decided to spend the evening of the Christmas Eve dinner. Eden learns that Victoria is in the hospital. She is going to see her and tries her to know what really arrived at her. Julia visits Mason to his office and announces him that his medical results are positive : she suffers from no form of sterility. She goes back later to Mason's office to her absence, and organises a candlelit dinner with champagne and romantic music. But Mason does not come back to his office : at midnight, he joins Victoria in his hospital room to sand a champagne down without alcohol. In The Purgatory, Sophia joins Santana, Brick and Cruz. Sudden Eden arrives, accompanied with her date. At midnight, Cruz hesitates to go up to Eden, but he sees her date kissing her. He leaves, leaving Eden on the dancing floor...

Tony Cummings, who plays Edward Wesley, Eden's date, will come back in January 1988 to play another character, Harry Winslow.

Episode 619

Ted has his first day in the Abernathy stables as a simple groom. He meets Jake, who has worked there for four years. Mason discovers that Julia waited for him on the 1st January in his office. He organises a candlelit dinner and sends for her under a false pretence to ensure her presence. He proves to be ambitious and makes love with Julia on a sofa. Gus gets a job as a waiter in the Orient Express. But after his day ends, he learns from Eden that he was hired for the day and in spite of his great work there, he is not engaged. Gus gets worked up with Eden and hurts his hand by hitting it against a wall. At night, a black man wearing a balaclava bursts into the restaurant empties and hides the takings of the day from Eden's hands. He hits her, as well as Mark, the maître d'hôtel. Cruz arrives. Nobody is hurt, and Mark hastens to accuse Gus. The policemen arrive at Gus's to arrest him. Alice, who is present with him, panics...
