Episode 600

Caroline goes back to visit Gus in prison and confesses to him that she knows where Alice is and that she is in Santa Barbara. She gives him a photo of his daughter. Back in the Lockridge villa, facing Lionel, she admits having been in the prison, but does not say any more about it. Brian visits his brother, and then Alice does, who asks him to stay in Santa Barbara. Mason goes to the convent to see Victoria. He takes her some books. Mother Isabel warns him against his desire to see Mary in Victoria. Eden and Cruz each receive a bunch of flowers reminding them of their first meeting in Europe, on board of the Orient Express. Each thinks that it was the other who sent them. Eden restores the Orient Express and creates a romantic ambience for Cruz. She offers to dance together, but Cruz does not feel like it and leaves again. Eden then discovers that it was Kelly who organised this strategy to try to unite them...

Mason tells Julia that he intended to name the baby he was going to have with Mary, Matthew or Emily.

Episode 601

Victoria entrusts Mother Isabel that she thinks she is pregnant. Mother Isabel recommends for her to inform the father, whatever the consequences are. Eden gives Cruz the engagement ring which he had given her. Caroline finds Gus in prison. She tells him that she does not want to tell Alice yet that she is her mother. Jane, dressed up as Roxanne, goes to the bar in the Orient Express and invites Brian who is sitting at the bar, for a drink. She goes back to Lockridge villa and discovers on a photo that Alice shows her that the man she was flirting with is Brian. She phones Lionel to tell him that Brian is in the Orient Express. Caroline and Lionel intercept Brian, and Caroline asks him to re-think his decision to leave Santa Barbara for Alice's sake. Brian thinks and goes to the Lockridge villa. He discovers that Jane is the woman who approached him in the Orient Express. Brian announces his decision to stay in Santa Barbara to Alice. Julia gets the results of her pregnancy test. She announces to Mason that she is not pregnant. Victoria, as for her, learns that she is having a baby. Cruz brings Eden her engagement ring and asks her to keep it. After talking with Eden, Mason has the idea of making Gina believe that Kelly died so to be able to recover the tape faster. Eden asks Cruz to help them in their plan...

Episode 602

In the Orient Express, Pearl is worried to see Victoria crying and gets worried about her fevered state. Victoria ends up confessing to him that she is pregnant. Pearl thinks immediately that the father is Cruz. He tries to dissuade her from having an abortion. Gina announces to C.C. that she has succeeded in persuading Hayley and Ted to become established in the Capwell villa. She does Ted's old room up and spends her time to join both individual beds to favour a little bit of intimacy between them. Mason tells his father about his plan to make Gina believe that Kelly was killed as a result of an abduction which turned out badly, to recover the tape sooner. He also entrusts his plan to Ted, but C.C. asks him not to tell Hayley. Caroline explains to Lionel that the man whom she visits in prison is Gus, Alice's father. Lionel suggests that she ask Julia to help parole Gus. Caroline prefers asking C.C. to use his contacts. C.C. hesitates to help Caroline to parole the man because of the fact that she left him in the past. When he hears Lionel say that Gus is Alice's father, C.C. understands that Caroline is her mother...

Episode 603

Gina discovers that her Christmas greetings cards were drowned in the fountain in the atrium of the Capwell villa. In the Orient Express, Courtney and Brian discuss Madeline. As an author of detective stories, Brian offers to help her to try to find the real murderer. He remembers that she had already spoken with him about this affair in the chalet without revealing that it was her sister that she was talking about. Brian then finds Alice in the Lockridge villa, who organised a romantic dinner for them. Brian makes her understand that he feels only friendship for her. Brick tells Santana that he intends to buy back debris from Buzz's and to repair a restaurant which he wants to name Johnny's. He makes a proposal of redemption for Buzz's, but he needs more money. Santana offers to lend him the missing money, but Brick refuses. She asks Sophia to help her son to invest. Sophia and C.C. are followed all day long by a mysterious young man. While they are in front of Buzz's Place, a beam collapses and the man throws himself on Sophia to prevent her from being crushed. The man is driven to the hospital. Sophia and C.C. find the young man's details and call home. A woman with an English accent hangs up. She seems to know Sophia's name. Lily insists to give Buzz the necessary money for the sale of the restaurant. Buzz accepts and concludes transaction with Brick, without telling him that Lily paid him. C.C. shows Sophia the anonymous letter which he had made to make Kelly's abduction seem real...

Episode 604

Lionel visits Gus in prison. He goes there as Alice's lawful guardian, and Gus thanks him for this action. Caroline asks C.C. to help her to get freedom for Gus. To persuade him, she asks him to meet Alice. C.C. accepts and talks with Alice in front of the debris at Buzz's. At Lionel's request, Caroline tells him that Gus was a boxer. Lionel guesses that it was Tiger, a boxer under contract with C.C. twenty years earlier. Presuming that Caroline and Gus knew each other at the same time that she went out with C.C., he deducts from this that Alice is Caroline's daughter. Mason accompanies Cruz's Captain to ask him to return to the police. Victoria announces to Eden that she is about to leave Santa Barbara for good. Eden repeats this to Mason. She asks Pearl if he knows Tori's real motivations to go back to Los Angeles. Victoria goes to say goodbye to Cruz. Cruz also asks her for the real reasons of her departure...

Episode 605

Lionel loses his temper with Caroline whom he accuses of having left Alice because she is black and because it had to upset her picture of a well-bred woman. Caroline defends herself by reminding him that twenty years earlier, never would she have been able to bring up her daughter in a Southern State of the United States where she lived and where segregation was still common. She explains to him that for this reason she let her leave with Gus, and that she was unaware that Alice had later been admitted in different psychiatric asylums. Lionel asks her to tell Alice the truth. Victoria does not talk about her pregnancy to Cruz and goes back home. Pearl doesn't say anything to Eden and organises a meeting between Cruz and her at Buzz's place, where Cruz goes to buy a Christmas tree. But Cruz does not feel like decorating it. Julia goes to search for Mason to try and make a baby. They make love in a room of the Capwell Hotel and speak about love, but Julia avoids loving gestures with Mason. While Julia is under the shower, Mason phones Victoria, hoping that she hasn't left for Los Angeles yet. Victoria is at home, but does not answer...

Episode 606

Julia and Mason wake up together at the Capwell Hotel. They agree to see each other again in the afternoon. Mason goes to Los Angeles to see Victoria and to return the golden necklace which she left in Santa Barbara. She pretends to have a role in Amsterdam so that he ceases contacting her. Back in Santa Barbara, Mason phones Victoria's agent who tells him that Tori does not have a role and almost tells him that she is pregnant. Mason finds Julia in the hotel room 45 minutes late. Lionel urges Caroline to tell Jane and Alice the truth. Caroline speaks about Gus to Jane, but does not tell her that Alice is her daughter. Courtney asks Pearl to negotiate with his brother so that he stops his inquiry into Madeline's death. Pearl finds Brian in the bungalow where Madeline died, typing the beginning of a story. He discovers that Brian suspects Courtney to be the murderer, being the only one close to Madeline not to have been suspected and having good motivations. Pearl tells him that his reasoning is absurd. He joins Courtney in the Orient Express and tells him that Brian suspects her. Courtney is horrified...

Episode 607

Sophia thanks Jeffrey Conrad, the man who saved her life, and who is accommodated for the day in Mason's room in the Capwell villa. Gina surprises C.C. and Mason talking to hire men to get rid of her. She thinks that Jeffrey is paid by the Capwells to attract her. Mason wonders if this man has secrets. He indeed seems very interested by the Capwell genealogy. Caroline learns that Gus was paroled. Facing Pearl, Courtney denies having killed her sister. Brian thinks that Courtney wishes unconsciously that her guilt is made. He organises a production in the bungalow where Madeline was found dead. He asks Pearl to send for Courtney and to follow the script which he wrote. When Courtney arrives, Pearl lets Courtney play two women, the roles of Courtney and of Madeline, they argue because of the men whom Madeline continuously stole from her sister. Courtney speaks and confesses to have killed Madeline. She takes out a revolver from her bag and checks it off towards Pearl and Brian...

Episode 608

Julia drives Gus, just out of prison, to the Orient Express. Mason points out to Victoria that he knows that she did not leave for a new role. He sends her a comedian at home to cure her of her sulkiness. Julia confesses to Lionel that Mason is the man whom she has chosen as her baby's father. Lionel is shocked. In the bungalow, Courtney assures to have killed Madeline in self-defence. She says that Madeline wanted to kill her to be by herself to receive family inheritance. Whilst fighting with her, a gunshot blared and killed Madeline. Pearl comforts Courtney, finally relieved to have been able to tell the truth. Brian agrees not to call the police and Courtney remains free. Alice and Gus meet incidentally at Buzz's place. They recognise themselves immediately and throw their arms around one another. Caroline and Lionel join them and pretend them not to know Gus already. In the Lockridge villa, Gus asks Caroline not to put him in with his daughter...

Episode 609

Mason joined Victoria at her hotel in Los Angeles and admits having been interested in her for bad reasons, in this case his desire to make Mary come alive again. Victoria is not comfortable at the idea of being compared with a woman known for her honesty. Gina gives a Hayley and Ted a double bed for Christmas. Ted bought a nice alliance for Hayley, while Hayley has some money lent from Gina to buy a present for Ted. Gina surprises C.C.'s new henchman with his suitcase. He tells her that C.C. planned to leave. Gina enquires and learns that they are bound for Antigua. But it is Sophia's manoeuvre to throw Gina off Santa Barbara and to be able to spend a single night with C.C.. Cruz comes to lend strong hand with Brick in the reconstruction of Buzz's. Brick finds a piece of charred pullover having belonged to Amy. Santana, Eden, then Hayley and Ted join them. At first reserved, Brick accepts Hayley's assistance and is reconciled with her. They all come to an agreement to leave Eden and Cruz alone. While Eden slides of her stool, Cruz catches her. They are close to kiss each other...

Last appearance in the series of Buzz, who seems to be played once again by Phillip Kako under his Santa's fancy dress.
