Episode 580

Pearl learns of the existence of one bookseller in Big Sur who wrote a book about elements of Brian's life. He decides to meet her together with Alice. Compelled by Brick, Lily gives press conference in the Orient Express in the course of which she admits having lied about her healing and mystical capacities. She announces officially that Gina is her mother. Keith is surprised. He thinks immediately that Gina is likely to entrust Lily where she hid the tape. He runs to install a listening device inside a bunch of flowers in Gina's hotel room. Indeed, once they arrive in the room, Lily asks her mother where the tape is. Before answering her, Gina throws the half dead flowers out the window, and Keith cannot hear anymore. Gina reveals the hiding-place: inside the head of the boar hung on the entrance of C.C.'s office, in the Capwell villa. Eden is worried about Cruz. Paul tells her that Victoria was seen going on his boat before his departure. Victoria and Cruz wake up on rocks, in front of a beach. Tori helps Cruz get up and get to a light house where she tries to treat him. In a half conscious state, Cruz suffers from a wound to his head and has visions of Eden. While he thinks he is making love with Eden, Cruz is embracing and kissing Victoria. Santana goes to search for Brandon in the Capwell villa and prepares him for their departure to Mexico. Brick recommends for her not to leave. The evening arrives and they go to the Capwell villa. They are surprised by Lily's arrival and hide. Also, Keith, Mason and Gina walk through the corridors of the villa without seeing them. Lily enters C.C.'s office and opens the face of the boar stuffed with straw. She takes the tape out of it...

Episode 581

Lily just has time to hide before Gina and Mason enter C.C.'s office. Mason finds Lily and asks her where Gina hid the tape. Thinking that she is in the tunnel, he enters there and Lily closes the library door behind him. From the window, Keith sees Lily recovering the tape. Gina surprises Lily and asks her to give her the tape when Sophia and C.C. arrive. Lily escapes and is surprised by Keith. She crushes his the foot with the heel of her shoe and escapes up to Gina's hotel. Keith follows her and Lily escapes by the window in the room, taking the tape and a revolver with her. Sophia and C.C. release Mason from the tunnel. Alice and Pearl meet Sybil Jordan, the author of the book regarding Pearl and Brian's life in her bookshop. As she refuses to speak to them, Pearl goes back to see her and shows her Brian's photo and tells her that he is his brother. Sybil tells him that she does not know him, but rushes on her telephone as soon as Pearl leaves. Caroline and Lionel kiss each other. However, Caroline explains to Lionel that she does not want to get involved in a history which could harm the objective of her visit to Santa Barbara. In the light house, Victoria wakes up with Cruz. She makes him a new injection of pain relief after he screams with suffering. Again, Cruz has visions of him and Eden making love. In frenzy, he asks Victoria to squeeze up against him and kisses her. Gina finds Keith searching her hotel room. Mason takes a call from Lily from the beach bar. Gina finds her daughter there and asks her to give her the tape. C.C. learns from his henchmen that Lily phoned Gina from the beach bar. Sophia finds a revolver in C.C.'s office. At night plunged into the fog, Mason goes to the beach bar. Suddenly a gunshot blares...

Episode 582

Jane makes a scene with her mother after she must have seen her kissing Lionel. She criticises her for having always been away from her. Caroline confesses to Lionel that she had a relationship with C.C., but Lionel does not bear a grudge with her for it. In the beach bar, after the gunshot, Mason hears a broken glass. He discovers Gina's inanimate body, covered with blood. He sees the tape by her side, when he gets closer suddenly he is knocked on the head. Hayley and Ted help him to get up again. But Gina and the tape have disappeared. Mason phones Brandon and asks him to note all paths and come to the Capwell residence. Sophia is the first one to be taken in; she lines up the revolver in C.C.'s office. Then C.C. arrives, his hand was bandaged and covered with blood. Mason thinks that Gina was assassinated. He unites all possible suspects in C.C.'s office. He accuses C.C. of having killed Gina by chance, then hurting his hand by breaking the window pane at the beach bar. C.C. denies this. Mason then accuses Sophia, then Keith, who all deny this allegation. Lily's turn comes, who swears not to have stayed in the beach bar and even heard a gunshot. Outside the office, Gina, alive, listens to their discussions...

Episode 583

A man enters Alice's hotel room in Big Sur in the middle of the night. It is Brian, Pearl's brother. He finds Sybil Jordan, whom he asks to lie to Alice and Pearl. Sybil is going to find them to tell them that she knew Brian, but that he left for New York one year earlier. Lily, followed by Keith, leaves the Capwell villa. She finds Gina in her hotel room. It proves to be that it was Gina who stunned Mason, then Lily who escaped from the beach bar with the tape. Gina grants her 50 % of what she will earn from C.C. during her marriage in exchange for the tape. Lily recommends for Gina to leave to hide in a farm having belonged to her adopted father for a few days. Hayley called the police to declare Gina's death. But Ted explains to her that they risk not being able to ever lay their hands on the tape and exonerate Kelly. Gina hides the revolver stolen by Lily in Sophia's bed in the guest house. C.C. finds it, but dares to say nothing to her. Cruz wakes up in better form after his night of love with Victoria, but he does not remember any of it. In the course of time, his violent pain in his head occurs again. Victoria gives him an injection of pain relief again. Cruz again dives into his deranged state and kisses her, thinking he is with Eden...

Episode 584

C.C. talks to Sophia about the revolver which he found in her bed. She swears to him that she does not know where it comes from. They announce this to Mason. Gina wakes up in the barn of the farm by hearing music. The band Air Supply is rehearsing just next to her. She prepares breakfast for them. Seeing that he loses interest in Gina's case, Hayley argues with Ted. Getting worried that she is not reappeared on the eve of her marriage with C.C., she phones Paul and announces the disappearance of her aunt. At the Capwell's place, Paul asks to speak to Gina. Mason takes up a plan so that Lily hears her mother's voice on the telephone and reassures the Inspector. But Gina takes the apparatus and speaks to C.C., then to Paul. Brick, who followed Lily up to the farm, informs Santana of her hiding place. Hayley and Ted take the Capwell yacht to go around the Channel islands in search of Victoria and Cruz. Ted finds them in the light house and calls the ambulance. Keith announces the good news to Eden. The priest arrives to organise the repetition of marriage in the Capwell villa. In Gina's absence, Sophia takes the place of the bride. Victoria is of the benefit that Cruz dived again into his frenzy to sleep with him one last time. Suddenly, Hayley enters the light house and surprises them...

Episode 585

Victoria and Cruz are sent to the hospital in Santa Barbara. Eden stays by Cruz's bedside. Victoria phones Hayley to ask her not to say anything about what she saw. But Ted guesses her secret. In the farm, Lily makes up a contract with Gina confirming the agreement on the 50 % of money from C.C. that Gina will be able to reach during her marriage. Mason goes to see Santana. He explains to her that in case it was her who shot Gina and recovered the tape, C.C. would be ready to give her lifelong custody of Brandon. Santana goes to the farm and finds Gina in a wedding dress. She threatens her with a revolver with the intention of recovering the tape. But Gina swears to her that it is in Lily's possession. C.C. goes to a church in Los Angeles richly decorated for the marriage. The band Air Supply is rehearsing there. Lily hid the tape inside the Bible. In the farm, Santana links Gina's hands to the pig enclosure. Gina, with her dress covered in mud, manages to get rid of her ties. She decides to get married...

Episode 586

As Gina does not arrive at the church, C.C. announces to the guests that the wedding ceremony is cancelled. He offers Sophia to get married, while knowing that the tape will not be returned to them. Keith tells Hayley that it was not Gina who was on the telephone with C.C., but Lily. Hayley deducts from this that her aunt is really dead and that Ted lied to her during this time. She asks Paul, who reassures her by telling her that he spoke to Gina on the telephone. Persuaded that she is in possession of the tape, Brick tries to persuade Lily to give it to him. In the hospital, Victoria understands that Ted knows about her adventure with Cruz. Cruz has flashes of him with Tori in the light house. He confronts Victoria and understands that they slept together. Gina cleans the dress and takes the bus to go to the church, in Los Angeles. She finds only the members of the band Air Supply there. She takes to hitchhiking to return to Santa Barbara, and finishes even on the back of a motorbike. In the Capwell residence, the wedding ceremony between Sophia and C.C. begins. Suddenly, an engine of motorbike makes itself heard. Mason hastens to lock the front-door. Gina gets off from motorbike and plays the drum in the door of the villa...

Episode 587

As Mason refuses to open the door to her, Gina gets back up on the back of the motorbike and the biker tears along towards the villa. Mason just has the time to open the door, and the motorbike crashes on the floor in the atrium. Gina gets up again. She is relieved to learn that the wedding ceremony between Sophia and C.C. had not been completed. Gina tries to reach Lily by telephone but, as she does not answer, she decides to find her at the hotel. Lily is in close touch with Brick, who wants to recover the tape to give it to Santana, and so to give her a means of pressure on C.C. to recover Brandon. He searches the whole room and finds the tape in the Bible. He runs away with it and Lily must announce the terrible news to Gina. In the hospital, Cruz bears a grudge against Victoria to have used the situation to sleep with him. In spite of his state, he gets dressed and leaves his room. Hayley and Ted do not dare to tell Eden what they know about Victoria and Cruz. Eden goes to the hospital and understands that Tori is hiding something from her. C.C. goes to see Santana and stumbles on Brick. Brick shows him the tape and the threat of a revolver so that he does not take it, until Santana arrives. Gina joins them in an attempt to recover the tape. Eden comes back to the Capwell villa and finds Cruz. He tells her that he has something to confess to her. Paradise asks him if he slept with Victoria, and Cruz replies in the affirmative. Eden escapes by running. Victoria arrives just at the time when Cruz has a feeling of faintness...

Episode 588

Victoria helps Cruz to get up again. Cruz goes looking for Eden, at the beach home then in the Orient Express, in vain. Santana arrives at home and finds Brick, Gina and C.C.. Brick gives her the tape and lets her negotiate with C.C.. Santana asks for the final rights of Brandon and 100 000 dollars to leave to live in Acapulco with him. C.C. accepts and asks Mason to prepare the lawful documents. Gina goes back to her hotel and has an idea. She sends for Keith to help her there. Feeling responsible for the loss of the tape, Lily offers Keith half of what Gina's marriage will return in exchange for his assistance. Santana and Brick arrive at the Capwell villa to sign papers. Gina joins them there and makes a scandal. Lily and Keith enter the office by breaking in, and Keith cuts the electricity. When the light returns, Brick was stunned, and the tape has disappeared. Lily escapes discreetly by a concealed door. Gina is stopped before being able to run away and Mason finds the tape in her handbag. But it is not the real tape. C.C. receives a call from Keith who makes him listen by telephone to the tape which he has just recovered with Lily. Gina exults...

Episode 589

In Gina's hotel room, Keith takes the tape and gets ready to escape with it. But Lily arrives and stops him with a revolver. Gina joins them and shows more confidence between them. Cruz learns that Eden took a boat. He finds her in the light house and tries to explain to her that he thought he was making love with her when he was with Victoria. Eden refuses to believe him. Keith joins them and supports Eden. Gina leaves the tape in the Capwell villa in a glass cabinet watched by two guards. Hayley wants to persuade her not to get married, but Gina persists, persuaded that she is acting for a good cause: have the means to give some money to her fellows. Mason suggests C.C. losing some money during his marriage with Gina so that she gains no financial advantage. Lily begins the ceremony. In turn, Ted, Eden and Hayley leave the villa to find Sophia in the guest house. The ceremony finishes, Mason and C.C. leave Gina alone. Both guards act for her as witnesses. Lily leaves Gina alone with the tape. Thinking that everything is finished with Cruz, Eden throws her engagement ring into the fountain in the atrium. C.C. finds Gina dressed without ceremony in his room. Gina offers him a pretty night of love. C.C. goes up to her slowly and overturns the mattress with her on it...
