Episode 540

Amy persuades Brick to resign from his manager's position at the casino. Lily learns from Gina that she maintained a relationship with Mason. Cruz asks Victoria to leave Santa Barbara after the end of her production. Eden, for her part, encourages Pearl to see Tori frequently. Keith hides in Victoria's lodge and surprises her while she is undressing. Cruz finds Eden on the beach and tries to reassure her on his love. Amy goes to Buzz's to replace an ill colleague. Buzz almost erupts with fights between members of Lily's group who have come to rally in the restaurant. The tone goes up with the demonstrators. In front of the dock joining the casino, Hayley is encouraged to throw a Molotov cocktail at the window of the bar. Ted makes her move back at the time when the bomb blows up. Inside the bar, Amy screams with horror...

Episode 541

First aid arrive at Buzz's and they find unconscious Buzz among the debris of the bar. They drive him to the hospital. Outside, Ted recommends for Hayley to escape. Brick surprises them and listens to Ted telling the police that he didn't recognise any of the demonstrators. Brick goes back home thinking he would find Amy. Keith hears Eden speaking to Kelly on the telephone. By accident, Eden tells Cruz that she knows where Kelly ran away to. At Buzz's, a new body is found, this one is lifeless: it is Amy. Cruz and Eden go to Brick's place to tell him the terrible news. They all go to the morgue to identify the body. Gina and Ted accuse Lily of being responsible for the explosion. Ted finds Hayley at Buzz's place and encourages her not to give herself into the police. He tells her that Amy was found dead. Hayley panics. Alone at home, Brick opens the present that Amy had organised to be delivered: a bicycle. Still shocked, he realises suddenly that he knows who is responsible for her death...

Episode 542

Sophia and Lionel try to comfort Brick. They ask him to be strong for Johnny. Paul begins searching for Lily to question her. At the police station, Brick begins being taken by Lily. Facing Cruz and Keith, Lily pretends not to know the names of all her supporters, and repeats that she has never supported any violent action. Ted is worried that Lily could report Hayley. Lily and Mason reassure him on this subject. Gina listens to calls on Cruz's telephone line. She hears the message that Hayley leaves on his answering machine.  She hastens to welcome her at Cruz and Eden's beach house to prevent her from giving herself up. Mason finds comfort with Lily. They kiss each other...

Episode 543

Hayley feels guilty to have caused the fire and death of Amy. Jane discovers that Hayley is involved in the accident. Ted asks his father to help him to defend Hayley, while stopping himself from telling him that he was a witness. C.C. asks Lily to leave the property. Hayley goes to the chapel where Amy's funeral is taking place. She asks Brick to excuse her, but he isn't sure what she means. At Keith's request, Cruz gives him the list of calls from his personal telephone. He notifies C.C. that Keith is on Kelly's trace. C.C. makes Kelly change her hiding-place. Pearl drives Victoria towards a picnic on the beach. But Victoria suddenly changes her mind, remembering relating events about Keith's sister and the earring...

Episode 544

Lily and Mason intervene Hayley in the chapel to prevent her from speaking to Brick. Brick makes the journalists who have come to listen to Lily offering her apologies in the name of her supporters leave. Mason finds comforting words for Brick. At Hayley's request, the police arrive to search her to arrest her. Gina tries to encourage her not to talk. Cruz and Keith learn that Hayley's fingerprints were found on a can inside Buzz's place. Ted is questioned and says he didn't see anything relating to the accident. He pays the bail money to release Hayley. Courtney is jealous that Pearl spends time near the beach with Victoria. She tells him that Madeline had a habit to steal her boyfriends from her and that she had seen David frequently before Madeline steals him from her. Cruz asks Eden to phone him and to make believe that Kelly is going to come back. He hopes to prove that Keith tapped his phone line. He then removes the listening device from his telephone and finds Keith on the rendezvous point on the beach. Keith promises him retaliation for the death of his sister. Eden finds Victoria in the Orient Express. She begins questioning her about Katie, but Victoria really denies having known her...

Episode 545

At the police station, Ted agrees to testify. But he ends up changing his mind and says nothing. Gina has a wedding dress made by a dressmaker. Santana gets out of the hospital. She visits Gina and informs her that she has decided to prove that it was her who drugged her without her knowledge. She goes to see Angel, whom she for some drugs for her dependency. She offers to pay with kindness for him. Angel goes to find Gina and tells her that he is going to close a deal with Santana. Gina offers him some money so that he says that it was Keith who bought the drugs from him. She ends up offering to sleep with him. After they sleep together, a man enters the room. Lily moved in at Mason's. She tells him that she was adopted and that her parents have never loved her. She and Mason kiss each other, but Mason finally doesn't want to sleep with her. In the Orient Express, Santana and Victoria speak about Cruz. Meanwhile, Eden and Cruz make love. Barely ended, Eden begins questioning him again about his past relationship with Victoria...

Episode 546

Mason gives up and makes love with Lily. But he accomplishes in retrospect that she lied to him and that she wasn't a virgin. He announces his doubts as for her honesty and her real intentions. He goes out to get drunk, then goes back to his flat. He prevents Lily from packing her suitcase and makes her stay. Sophia sees Victoria in the Capwell villa and asks her if her decision to stay in Santa Barbara has to do with Cruz. Eden asks Tori to excuse her mother. Keith lights up a light in Gina's hotel room. He finds her in bed with Angel. Gina explains to Keith that Angel was about to report her to Santana. She asks him for some money to earn his silence. She gives the money to Angel, and asks in exchange for a last delivery of drugs. Angel tells Santana that it was Keith who he sold the pills to. Santana repeats this to Cruz and asks him to lead the investigation. Gina pretends to be drunk all day long. She goes to Keith's place with the drugs which she brought from Angel. She gets ready to hide them in the cat litter, when Keith comes back unintentionally...

Episode 547

Brick asks C.C. to re-engage him at the casino. Gina is saved by Victoria's arrival who wants to speak to Keith. She uses this time to hide the bottle of drugs in the cat litter, then erases her footprints with a rag. But the cat catches the rag and escapes with it. Gina leaves in the middle of the night. A policeman arrives and walks Gina back home and takes the cat to Keith. Gina hides in a cupboard when Keith comes back home. She hears that Keith phones her and wants her to go to his hotel room. She runs and passes by the window of his room to stretch out on his bed, in the second when Keith steps out of his door. Gina pretends to be still drunk and not to have gone out.  Cruz promises Santana to get a warrant to search Keith's flat the next day. On Cruz's insistence, Victoria arrives at their home and tells them what happened with Katie Timmons. Tori says that Katie was in love with Cruz, while they went out together. Once Cruz slept with Katie, but he then went back to Victoria. To stop this harassment, Tori proved to be stubborn with Katie, which is what drove her to suicide in the ocean. Victoria explains that, since this, she feels responsible for her death. The evening arrives, Cruz rethinks about Katie...

Episode 548

Julia prepares Ted for his testimony in front of the judge. He tries to not have to testify against Hayley. Santana visits Brick in the hope of managing to alleviate him. She discovers the weapon which he held in his hand on his arrival. Suddenly Lily, arrives to bring support to Brick. Brick asks her to leave. As Lily refuses to leave before having the opportunity to talk, Brick loses his temper and grabs her by the throat. Gina addresses an anonymous letter to Cruz which she recommends for him to search the cat litter in Keith's flat. Victoria brings Keith the letters that Katie wrote to Cruz after their night of love. She asks him to read them to understand that Cruz is not responsible for her death. Keith learns that a warrant was signed to search his flat. He searches for what could have been hidden without his knowledge and discovers the bottle of pills in the cat litter. He hides them in his jacket before Cruz's arrival. Cruz is surprised at finding nothing in the litter. He searches Keith's pockets and finds the pills...

Episode 549

MMason arrives at the Perkins home while Brick tries to choke Lily. Brick ends up unloosing her. He makes her feel guilty by telling her about Johnny. Keith denies knowing what pills are in his possession. He accuses Cruz of having left them in his home to accuse him, with Victoria's assistance. He goes to Victoria's lodge and finds her in full debate with Santana. He accuses them both of having tried to trap him. Cruz announces to Mason of his suspicion concerning Keith. Jane accompanies Lionel in his garden and speaks with him about fossils. Nick takes Alice's pictures with the idea of making her a model in Mode. Alice and Paul have lunch in the Orient Express, but Alice is still unsettled by Paul's police badge. She explains to him that it is because her father came under fire by a policeman. Mason asks Lily to reveal her true reasons of her presence in Santa Barbara. Lily confides. Eden and Cruz meet in front of the airstrip of the airport. Cruz reassures his love for her...
