Episode 370

Kelly suggests to Nick to go on holiday in Hawaii, but the plan is interrupted by Sam's arrival, which alerts Nick about an incident on the oil rig. He goes there and is surprised to find Dylan there, who finally didn't leave Santa Barbara. Cruz invites Santana to the cinema and to have dinner. But he can't help thinking of Eden. In the early hours, Mason finds the drip attached to C.C. removed from his arm. Kirk organises a surprise holiday for Eden in Lake Tahoe to ski. Settled in the evening sitting on the corner of the fire in their chalet, Eden suffers Kirk's kisses, while thinking of Cruz. Gina prepared some soup for the guard standing outside C.C.'s room and pours some drops of methylated spirits in there. But the man proves not to like the soup. After his departure, Mason takes over. He invites Janice to have dinner in the corridor outside C.C.'s room. Gina phones Janice to cancel dinner, and this time poisons the Chinese dishes which Mason ordered. At the end of his meal, Mason feels dizzy. Eden phones home and Mason gives up, by calling for help. Gina enters C.C.'s room. She gets ready to empty the syringe in his veins when suddenly, C.C. grabs her by the arm to prevent her from it...

Episode 371

As she is getting worried not hearing from Mason anymore on the telephone, Eden calls the Santa Barbara police and asks them to send men to the Capwell residence. She decides to go back home with Kirk, first at the steering wheel of her car then by plane. C.C. turns the syringe towards Gina and threatens to inject it into her arm. He makes her promise to stay away otherwise he will report her for attempted murder. Janice, Mary and Mark arrive at the Capwell residence. They find Mason in a half conscious state on the corridor floor. While he ends his night on the beach with Santana, Cruz learns that an incident is taking place at the Capwell residence. He goes there and forces the door of C.C.'s room. Gina pretends to be sitting down in a chair looking at C.C. in a coma. Cruz questions her, and Gina almost succeeds in cajoling him with the wrong tears. She leaves the room to deposit the syringe in Mark's briefcase. Kirk, who has just arrived, tells her that he saw her stealing the syringe the day before, and that he intends to use this information against her. Eden writes a letter to Cruz, where she declares that she feels as though she is dead since her marriage with Kirk. C.C. asks Gina to send for all his fellows to his bed head, so they can all reveal their feelings, without their knowledge, towards him...

Episode 372

Nick suggests to Kelly to organise their marriage in June. Kelly prefers not waiting and offers to do it in February. She makes dress fittings with Rosa. Warren invites them to Amy and Brick's place. He accuses Brick of repeating everything – being that he is the son of Sophia and Lionel to get a part of the Lockridge inheritance. Brick shows him the door. Mason tries to persuade Ted to vote for him to earn the control of the Capwell Firms. C.C. asks Gina to send for Sophia to his room. Sophia arrives, accompanied with Lionel. C.C. learns that Lionel is separated from Augusta, and hears him say that Brick is their son. Kirk tells Gina that he is in possession of her diary and that he knows that she tried to kill C.C.. Gina retorts that she was hidden in the cupboard in her room the evening of the drama, and that she knows that he won't report her because he wants to let Eden think that she disconnected the machines. C.C. then asks to see Mason. In front of C.C., Gina says to Mason that their reports weren't consenting and accuses Mason of having raped her. Mason doesn't understand the reason of these accusations. He announces he wants a party with the family dressed up the following evening. Gina wonders what he is preparing, while C.C. asks her to prepare his dinner jacket...

Episode 373

Santana ends up decorating Cruz's beach home. She goes to the Capwell residence to bring toys back for Brandon, and uses this time to search Gina's room. She finds a piece of paper there with the text which Gina had made the actors read for the recording of C.C.'s voice. Not realising what this document means, she reads it to Cruz. Lionel tells Augusta that Brick is his son. He hopes that Augusta is going to abandon her plan of divorce, but he gets no indication. Mason invites Mary to his party with the family on the following evening. He intends to have a vote for his election at the head of the Capwell Firms with the help of a mysterious unknown there. Sophia goes to C.C.'s bedside and makes him a nice declaration of love. Gina joins C.C. in his room and begins speaking to him, without seeing that Kirk is also in the room. Fortunately, C.C. doesn't answer her and continues pretending to be in a coma. Later, he tries on his dinner jacket for the following day and announces to Gina of some nice surprises...

An editing problem in this episode : Sophia enters the Capwell residence to see C.C., after she is seen speaking to him at his bed head !

Episode 374

Kelly forces Nick to announce his doubts concerning the reports with his brother. But Kelly, so she doesn't hurt him, chooses to deny any relationship. She confides in Sophia, who recommends thinking about her feelings for Dylan. Kelly announces to Nick that she is leaving for a few days to go to New York to think. Nick thinks that she is leaving him. Mason ends up persuading Ted to vote for him during his dinner party. Cruz calls Gina to the gazebo of the Capwell property. He makes her listen to a recording and questions her about the Altavista Sedan. Gina doesn't know how to answer until Kirk arrives. Kirk saves her by inventing an alibi: some advertising that she had begun then left. Cruz knows that they are both lying to him. Santana joins him at the beach home and they make love. Gina discovers that C.C. knows that they attempted to take his life by disconnecting the artificial respiratory machine. C.C. asks Gina to add a place setting for him. But Mason notices it and makes her withdraw it. He finds the door of C.C.'s room, then opened. Indoors, C.C. gets up from the bed, already dressed in the dinner jacket...

Episode 375

Sitting down at the table at Buzz's, Dylan receives candidates for jobs at the casino. Augusta arrives there, offering to work there. She demonstrates her talents, but Dylan hesitates to engage her. Cruz doesn't manage to make love with Santana. He receives a call from Sam who informs him that Nick is on his way towards Buzz's to talk to Dylan. Nick threatens to hit his brother if he doesn't tell him what occurred between him and Kelly. Cruz and Sam separate them. Cruz goes back home and finds Santana. He feels ready to make love with her. At the Capwell residence, Mason's dinner begins. Everybody suffers his sarcasms. At dessert, Mason makes a bright demonstration of his plan of fusion to quadruple the turnover of the oil activities of the Capwell Firms. He throws out polls for the direction of the firms and gets Ted's support. Eden, humiliated, prefers leaving. Dylan leaves the villa, followed by Nick. Everybody rushes there to see what happened. Mason savours his victory alone when, suddenly, C.C. makes his appearance in the living room...

Episode 376

Mason is shocked to see his father, but very quickly he is delighted to see him in good health. He also discovers that Gina already knew about his waking. Ted, Sophia, Mary then Kirk find C.C. for the first time. Everybody searches for Eden to inform her, but she has disappeared. Kelly separates Nick and Dylan before they fight. In her turn, she discovers her father is in good health. C.C. chooses to see each of his children in his room, one after another. Mason doesn't understand why his father decides to see Kirk before him. Kelly runs to announce the good news to Nick. But Nick makes him understand that he has nothing more to say to him. Cruz is called to question C.C. about the attempted murder of him. He asks him if he knows who tried to kill him...

Episode 377

C.C. refuses to tell Cruz if he remembers anything that evening. Brick finds Augusta at Buzz's. He tells her that he was engaged to work on the casino. Augusta accuses him of trying to get a part of the inheritance of the Lockridge estate. Brick goes to Cruz's and tells him and Santana that he is the son of Sophia and Lionel. Santana realises that Brandon is not linked to the Capwell's and C.C.. C.C. continues seeing people with whom he wants to settle accounts with in his room. He sends for Sophia and accuses her of having deceived him with Lionel. He orders her to pack her suitcases and to leave the Capwell residence, threatening to prevent her from seeing her children again. Lionel comes to her rescue to reason with C.C., but C.C. refuses to listen to him. Mason's turn finally comes. C.C. criticises him for all the revelations which he was delighted to make about Channing Junior before his attack. He announces to Mason that he is removing him from his will and that it is as though he had died for him. Mason leaves the room before changing his mind. He goes back and promises to his father to fight against him til his death if it is needed...

Episode 378

Kelly goes to see Nick. But Nick shows her the door, thinking that everything is finished between them. With Pearl's help, Kelly sent Nick and Dylan on the oil rig and intends to leave them alone without a boat to come back, to make them talk. Santana goes to see C.C. and tells him that Gina tried to take Brandon away a few days ago. She asks him to intervene in her favour to get custody. Gina fears C.C.'s decision. Cruz finds Eden asleep on the sofa in his beach home. He tells her that her father is out of the coma. He drives her to the Capwell place, but the doctors are examining him. Eden enters his room and hides the letters which she wrote for Cruz in a cupboard, inside one of the boots. Kirk manages to force the drawer of Eden's office and finds nothing, the letters have disappeared. He questions Eden to find out where she spent the night, while everybody was searching for her. Eden tells him that she slept at the Capwell Hotel under a different name. Finally, she manages to see her father. She doesn't dare to speak to him about the evening when she believes she disconnected his machines. C.C. tells her that he knows what she did...

Episode 379

Ted invites a friend from high school to study with him. Gina surprises them and recommends to Ted to pay attention to the girls who would be interested in him only for his money. Ted replies angrily and states that is why she married his father. Gina swears to take revenge on this remark. On the oil rig, Nick demands that Dylan tells him if he slept with Kelly. Dylan swears that he didn't. Nick doesn't believe him and decides to go on the coast to swim in the middle of the night. Dylan follows him. C.C. entrusts Eden that it was her that he saw disconnecting his machines. Eden apologises profusely, but C.C. doesn't bear a grudge against her. She explains that it is Kirk who supported her and helped to hide the proof against her. C.C. sees Kirk and thanks him for having acted in the interest of his daughter. Eden announces to Cruz that her father saw her on the infamous evening. She asks him to arrest her or to close the file. As Cruz doesn't want to arrest her, Eden asks him to leave her in peace. Santana finds Cruz at home. He tells her that Gina is in the clear, which disappoints Santana. Eden discovers that the drawer of her office was forced. Kirk admits being the culprit. She asks him to leave her alone. In the candlelight, Eden rereads the letter which she wrote to Cruz where she swears that she will never give up loving him...

Some scenes where C.C.'s artificial respirator was disconnected have been shot again for flashbacks, now with Jed Allan instead of Charles Bateman.
