Episode 300

Eden has a new nightmare about her father and the machines which keep him alive. She thinks more and more of achieving his request to die. Cruz's police captain gives him an order to go for a mission to Miami immediately. But Cruz refuses to go so he can stay with Eden, in spite of possible retaliation. Amy arrives from New Stailand and goes to the hospital to see Brick. But Brick proves to be very hard towards her and demands that she leaves. By getting worked up, he is victim of a muscular spasm and is taken to the treatment room immediately. Nick records Augusta's voice on a tape recorder and makes Amy and Glenn Wallace listen to it. Amy recognises the voice of the nurse who asked her to come back immediately to see Brick. In the opposite, Glenn doesn't recognise the voice of the nurse who told him that Brick didn't need any assistance from the office of the Clerk of the Court. Augusta uses the semi-aware state of Brick to make him sign a document assuring regular remittance of the heritage of the Lockridge's on a count in Switzerland in his name. But Amy surprises her. Mason organises a romantic dinner for Mary in the gazebo on the Capwell property. Gina, persuaded that Mason organised everything for her, puts on sound 31. She joins Mason in the gazebo and thinks he is sitting down at the table with candles with Mary...

Episode 301

The commissioner goes to Cruz and insists that he accepts the mission of two months in Miami to which he was allocated. But Cruz stands up to him. Eden intervenes and asks him to reconsider his position. Cruz gets angry with Eden, while it is for her that he risks his career in the police. Augusta manages to get rid of Amy without awakening his suspicion. She informs the bank that she got Brick's signature. In the mail, Augusta receives a letter from Laken, who tells her that she has found a job in Lake Tahoe. Mason and Mary's dinner is spoilt when Mary believes that Mason makes fun of her because she is still a virgin. She leaves the gazebo with this misunderstanding. Disappointed to have found Mason in gallant company with Mary, Gina tells Mary that she isn't the first one that Mason organised this type of dinner in the gazebo. She decides to go back to Santana. In her presence, she tells Brandon that Santana voluntarily left the baby to whom she gave birth. Santana is confused. Lionel receives Brandon in the Lockridge residence for a party. To surprise Augusta, they both hide in knights' armours. Gina comes to search for Brandon. Unaware that Brandon is hidden she tells Augusta that she likes Brandon even though she isn't his true mother. Brandon hears her. Mason goes into a Japanese restaurant, drunk, and asks Mary to come and find him. On the way, he makes her stop and deflates one of the tyres of her car without her knowing this...

Episode 302

Augusta makes a new scene with Lionel when she sees him being anxious of what Brandon heard. She asks him to choose between her and Brandon. Lionel, decided to stand back, offers Augusta to leave with him for a stay in an unknown destination. Janice arrives with her suitcases to become established in the Lockridge residence. In spite of his insistence, Amy refuses to leave Brick. He fears remaining paralysed and doesn't want to be a burden for her. Amy makes him leave the hospital and places him in the ancient nursery at the Perkins home. Mary discovers that Mason can't change a car tyre. At night, they walk up to a phone box. Mason pretends to call an engineer, and telephones the Japanese restaurant to have a meal delivered and candles. Mary is enticed and surprised by this new dinner. But under the influence of what Gina told her, she decides to walk back. Brandon is confused by what he heard. Gina swears to him that he is mistaken and asks Lionel to reassure him on the fact that she is his true mother. But Brandon asks for Mason, that he trusts a lot, to tell him. On his return, Gina asks Mason to speak to Brandon in exchange for some favours...

Episode 303

Kirk Cranston explains to Eden that she knew his father, Jack Lee, at the age of fifteen years. After long efforts, he gains permission from her to be hired by Capwell Firms. Nick announces to Brick of his certainty that it is Minx and not Augusta that phoned his father to discourage him from coming to Santa Barbara. He asks Amy to phone Minx and Glenn to listen to the discussion. But Glenn doesn't recognise Minx's voice. Amy is persuaded for her part currently that Johnny's place is in Santa Barbara rather than in New Stailand. Nick tries to make Kelly tell him that she is in love with him. But he surprises her suddenly with a letter which she intends for Joe. Kelly goes to the graveyard and reads a letter of goodbye in front of the grave, announcing to Joe that she fell in love with another man. Nick surprises her. Brandon comes to find Mason and asks him who his true mother is. Mason tells him that it is Gina of course. But Santana asks Mason to plead in her favour and to tell Brandon the truth. Gina threatens Mason to make C.C.'s will signed by him personally in which he disinherits him public. Mason passes the day searching the whole Capwell property for the document. While Mason begins speaking to Brandon of the importance of consanguinity, Gina makes a hole in the pillar of the atrium to recover the will where she had hidden it. She joins Mason and agitates him that the document was under his nose...

Episode 304

Mason locks himself in the office with Brandon. When he goes out of there after some minutes, Brandon runs into Gina's arms. Santana is confused with Mason lying to Brandon. To thank him for having leant in her favour, Gina agrees to let Mason burn C.C.'s will. After they make love, Gina confesses to him that she made him destroy only a copy. Cruz discovers that Eden asked Jack to intercede with commissioner to return him to the police. Sophia learns that his audience owing the judge was moved forward. Kirk explains to him that she must decide to plead guilty or not be the culprit. Cruz recommends the first option, thinking that a trial beforehand would be lost. Sophia tries to get Eden's forgiveness for her lies about Channing Junior, in vain. She decides finally to plead guilty of unintentional manslaughter. After her passage on Joe's grave, Kelly goes back to Nick's. Nick is sulking with her, thinking that he still doesn't count for her. He asks her to sign a contract to make their partnership official in the edition of the book of photos on which they are working on. Kelly doesn't understand the hostile attitude, until Nick confesses to her that he followed her to the graveyard. Kelly suggests he goes back to it and reads the letter for Joe that she left on the grave. Whilst waiting for him, she prepares the bed and the champagne...

From this episode, Gina Gallego replaces Margaret Michaels in the role of Santana Andrade. It will be necessary to wait for episode 341 before seeing her again.

Episode 305

After his visit to the graveyard, Nick finds Kelly in the flat and makes love with her. In the early hours, the editor of the book arrives accidentally and announces to them his discontent that the work isn't ended in time. Nick offers him to read the first chapters. The editor is under the spell and agrees to publish it unconditionally. Eden wakes up in her father's room without remembering how she arrived there. Cruz joins her and asks her to cease fretting about C.C.. Mason offers Sophia to plead for her in front of the judge. The judge has a lot of success privately, seems to have decided to envisage a prison term for Sophia. But Cruz asks to intervene and pleads in her favour. The judge decides to question Sophia, who guarantees him of her pain to have killed her son. The judge decides to consider her guilty, but exempts her from any prison term. Gina questions the nurse about the system of relay of the machines which keep C.C. alive. While he is alone with Johnny under the porch of the Perkins home, Brick sees a strong wind go up to the cradle. He tries to get up from his wheelchair and manages to crush it. But, while Amy arrives, he stumbles and begins a walk...

Episode 306

Amy urgently calls for an ambulance. Brick is driven to the hospital, and his state is fast stabilised. Nick tells Amy that he suspects Glenn, Brick's father, not to be his real father. Eden goes to see Kirk, who refuses to accept her decision regarding the deals she wants to make and he offers to become her business consultant. Facing Kirk's self-importance which she stands up to it, Eden decides to leave. On the advice from his father, Jack Lee whom he talks to on the phone, Kirk meets Julia in the beach bar. Julia helps Kirk draw a new employment contract. Warren learns from the bank that a 10 000-dollar cheque was drawn from a count rarely used by the Lockridge family. He suspects Brick of being the person withdrawing it. Two men from the State department go to Nick's, in search of his brother Dylan. When they see Janice arriving, both men leave. Janice takes refuge in the Lockridge residence and Warren helps her to avoid his pursuers. Dylan is in control of a small plane under way towards Santa Barbara, when suddenly the engine breaks down and the plane loses altitude. On the beach, Julia sees a man swimming towards the big open sea...

Episode 307

The man arriving who is swimming facing Julia is Dylan, Nick's brother. Arriving at the beach bar, he throws bets to the clients to make a little money and to replenish his debts. Julia thinks he is sleeping in his convertible. Dylan and Julia come together mutually under a fake name, and Dylan asks Julia to drive him to a motel. On the spot, he asks her to reserve a room for him, to leave no trace of his presence. In the room, he is of benefit that Julia has her back turned to hide his agenda and to discover his true name. In the beach bar, Danny is bothered by Angel, a criminal, and his gang. Mason accompanies Mary in the private hospital and offers to spend the afternoon as a volunteer there. Ted suddenly arrives with Danny, who was hit by Angel and his gang. Mary treats him, in spite of Angel's menacing intrusion. Danny asks Cruz to protect him, but he tells him that he can't, not being part of the police force anymore. Gina created a false alarm with C.C.'s respiratory tract at the time of the reaction of his nurse. Eden and Cruz meet on the beach and have a good time just like the good old days...

First appearance in the series of Angel Ramirez and first reappearance of Danny Andrade since episode 210.

Episode 308

Eden and Cruz argue again about C.C.. Cruz refuses to see Eden disconnecting the machine that keeps her father alive. While C.C. is driven to the hospital for examinations, Gina and Mason have a good time with the artificial respirator. Mary surprises them and proves to be shocked. Rosa asks Cruz to intervene to help Danny, threatened by Angel's gang. Julia goes to take her clothes off at Dylan's hotel, and recovers his agenda. She agrees to help him to find his brother. Cruz tells Nick that a small plane was seen in the ocean off Santa Barbara, but that no body was found. Nick goes on the beach and finds his brother's jacket, brought there by the current. Dylan suddenly arrives behind him and both brothers squeeze up in the arms of one another. Dylan explains to Nick that men are in his chase because of the gold mine which he discovered in Africa. Eden learns that Kirk had a reason bearing a grudge to refuse to make a deal regarding C.C.. She finds it in the cellar of the vineyard, and makes him sign a contract of employment by apologising. But a gust closes the door of the cellar, and both find themselves locked indoors. Getting worried about Eden's absence, Cruz decides to leave to research...

Episode 309

In the State Street bistro, Mason becomes acquainted with Janice. He tries to alleviate her from Dylan's death. Mary finds Mason mopping the tears of the pulpy fair-haired woman, when Nick arrives. He is sure that nobody watches them and takes Janice up to Dylan's motel. Janice is in seventh heaven to see that Dylan is alive. Danny enters the State Street bistro with his arm covered with blood. Mary and Mason drive him to the private hospital to treat him. Cruz is taken to the man whom he had asked to watch over Danny. Locked up in the cellar with wine, Eden and Kirk begin confiding their secrets. Kirk shows that he still bears a grudge against his father to have only admitted he was his son very late. Stunned Eden announces her moral dilemma concerning her father. Kirk encourages her to respect the will of C.C.. Cruz finally arrives and rescues them. In the Capwell entrance, Eden reproaches Rosa for having recovered the dress she was wearing in her nightmares and that she had thrown to the garbage can. Listening to their discussion, Gina hastens to recover the dress discreetly for herself...
