Episode 290

Augusta hands a goodbye letter signed by Laken to Ted. Both are worried about where she could have disappeared to. Christie tells her sister what indeed happened the evening of Steve's death. She joins Ted at the Lockridges and announces to him that she has decided to tell the police the truth. Nick announces his first report to Augusta about his inquiry into Brick. Brick joins them and in his turn requests for Nick to investigate to find out from Minx why she pays him all these favours. The young blonde woman once again hides at Nick's, dances and takes a shower. Nick discovers her while she took refuge in his camera room, having dropped her bath towel. Surprised by Gina, Mary says she was dropping off Mason's business to his home as an excuse. She leaves the suitcase with Gina to join Mason in the gazebo on the Capwell property. Gina finds them there incidentally very thrilled to see Mason again and to tell him that things have changed in the residence. Mason, first decided to come back home, decides finally to become re-established in the villa. He comes back into his room and stretches out on his bed, without realising that Mary is lying there already...

Episode 291

The young blonde woman, who says she is named Janice Harrison, turns out to be a friend of Dylan's, Nick's brother. She tells him that Dylan left medical school after a few weeks three years ago, and that he since became a pilot of a plane in Africa. Nick is very disappointed. Janice tells him that Dylan told her that he is in danger, but Nick refuses to hear any more. Eden recollects the promise that she made to C.C. not to keep him alive artificially. She declines Cruz's request of engagement, preferring to wait for better times. Mary discovers that Mason was lying down next to her. At first surprised, she seems to appreciate his presence and embraces his hand. Gina enters the room and Mary pretends to wake up and to be shocked to find Mason by her side. Mason lies down in the fountain in the atrium. Gina follows him and tells him that she loves him. She recommends for him to think with her about a strategy to keep control of the Capwell Firms at Eden's expense. Mason suddenly realises that he has a trace of lipstick on his hand...

Episode 292

Mason gives a television interview where he shows his desire to become the head of business management of the Capwells, after understanding that it was in his father's will. In Cruz's presence, Julia is told by the prosecutor Tony Patterson not to charge Christie and Ted after they have both recanted on their evidence. The Capwell children meet around Eric Tyler, Jack Lee's associate. Eden offers a plan of extension of the Capwell Hotel. Kelly and Ted vote for it, but Mason votes against it, adding to his voice of Brandon which he holds too. Eden knows that to decide between them, she can count on Sophia's voice, but Mason informs her that Sophia can't intervene, due to the fact that she is guiding Armonti Industries. He offers to vote in favour of Eden's proposal if he gets the presidency of the directorate. But nobody votes for him. Eden slowly comes back to Cruz, tired by this meeting and having spent time with Jack. Mary, who was invited to dinner by Mason, dreams of a romantic night which finishes in the bed...

Episode 293

Amy announces to Brick that she will be leaving again the following day with Johnny for New Stailand. Minx surprises Brick by reserving a plane ticket to accompany her. She goes to Amy and gives her a 100 000-dollar cheque so that she abandons the idea of leaving. The date between Mary and Mason didn't take place because of Mary's splitting headache. Mary announces to Mason her decision to give her resignation as C.C's nurse to dedicate herself to a private hospital with the disadvantaged in the city district. By discussing this with her, Kelly manages to dissuade her from it, and to give Mason a chance. Eden and Cruz are at sea, on the Capwell yacht for a romantic gathering. Cruz makes Eden believe that he caught lobsters for their lunch, but Eden guesses that he had bought them before leaving. Mason uses his sister's absence to speed up the redemption of the Walton hotel chain by the Capwell Firms. Nick receives a call from his brother Dylan, but he doesn't manage to hear him. He hides Kelly's presence at home from Janice. But Kelly goes to Nick's flat in his absence and finds Janice asleep on the bed...

Episode 294

Kelly is sulking with Nick all day long, until she ends up telling him that she saw his new small-friendly fair-haired woman asleep on his bed. She places a blueberry pie to his face with jealousy. Nick explains to her that it is Janice, his fiancée's brother. Eric Tyler announces to Mason, Ted and Kelly of the pressure placed upon the Walton hotels for fusion with the Capwell Hotels. He undertakes a new vote in the absence of Eden, still on the sea with Cruz. Mason claims to be ready to give his voice of plan if they grant him the status of the head of government of the Capwell management. As Kelly and Ted oppose to it, Eric Tyler puts back the vote, hoping to succeed in linking with Eden, in vain. Mason announces to Christie and Ted that the prosecutor abandoned the idea of charging them. He hopes Ted has learnt his lesson. Christie explains to Mary that Mason can be attracted only by her sexual plan. This makes Mary feel ill very easy. Amy shows the cheque to Brick that Minx gave her. Brick phones her, proclaiming that it isn't for sale. Amy seems ready to stay in Santa Barbara, but continues thinking...

Episode 295

Nick introduces Janice to Kelly. After some time of reflexion on Joe's grave, Kelly feels ready to open her heart to Nick and both embrace each other like the time in ghost town. Cruz offers Eden to get married on November 17th, the same day as his parents. Eric Tyler manages to find the trace of their yacht. He joins them by helicopter and interrupts the romantic cruise to bring them back to Santa Barbara immediately. A new vote between the Capwell children allows the fusion initiated by Eden. Mason offers Eden to name her joint president to show their cohesion to their partners. But Eden leaves him without an answer. Eric alerts Eden that Walton hotels want to sign the agreement in Hawaii. Eden leaves Cruz to head there. Augusta phones home and is surprised to hear Brandon. She hastens to go back home by car. Amy announces to Brick that she is finally leaving for New Stailand. She gives him the choice to join her or not at the airport. Brick finally decides to leave with her and gives his resignation to Lionel. Janice goes to the Lockridge place to replace him as a driver. Lionel, enticed by her capacity in making margaritas, hires her immediately. The hour turns and Brick is worried to arrive late at the airport. Lionel asks Janice to drive him there. But Janice barely starts the car which Augusta takes control of at full speed towards them...

Episode 296

Brick is transported urgently to the hospital. A metallic piece touched his spinal column and he risks paralysis. Minx is at his bedside. Augusta, confined to bed with a righteous man with a surgical collar, asks Nick to use this time to question her about her links with Brick. But Minx keeps silent. Brick's mother arrives at the hospital. When the doctor announces to her that a kidney transplant could be necessary, she thinks of Brick's father, who left them when he was only a baby. Nick offers to help her to find his trace. Lionel introduces Janice, who gets out without a scrape, to Augusta and Warren. To tranquilize Augusta's jealousy resulting from Brandon, Lionel organises a candlelit dinner in his room and places a ‘do not disturb' sign on the door. Eden is headed for Hawaii. She thinks to be accompanied with Jack, but it is Kirk Cranston who becomes established aboard with her. He is there as his substitute. In Hawaii, they are provided with a honeymoon suite as the only hotel room available. Kirk takes this room in one second. Cruz, already jealous at the idea of knowing Eden is alone with Jack, becomes disenchanted when he phones Eden in her room and Kirk answers, who seems to enjoy telling him that Eden is in the shower. Cruz immediately reserves a plane ticket for Hawaii...

Episode 297

Mason invites Mary once again to have dinner. Having hesitated, she ends up accepting and buys a nice formal dress. Cruz finally stays in Santa Barbara. In Hawaii, Eden and Kirk conclude the contract with Walton Hotels. Upon her return to the hotel room, Eden finds a huge bunch of flowers. She phones Cruz to thank him, but Cruz tells her that he didn't send anything to her. She understands that they came from Kirk and feels embarrassed facing him. Augusta gets out of the hospital. She asks Nick to continue his inquiry into Brick. Kelly hears them and reproaches Nick for betraying his friend. Brick calls Amy in New Stailand and hides his accident from her. He breaks up with her by telephone. Augusta dresses like Amy and passes for a nurse. She asks her to come back to California at Brick's bedside. Thanks to a photo, Nick manages to identify the place of residence of Glenn Wallace, Brick's father. He phones him in Bakersfield to ask him to come immediately to Santa Barbara for a possible donation of a kidney to his son. But at the time of leaving, Glenn receives a call from a nurse who tells him that Brick doesn't need a transplant anymore and that he can stay home. In spite of this call, he goes to Santa Barbara and finds his son. Brick's doctor announces that the results are good and that a transplant won't be necessary. Glenn is surprised to have been informed already several hours before, which seems impossible for the doctor. Nick thinks that Brick has an enemy who bears a grudge against his life...

Episode 298

Nick learns from Cruz that the telephone number which called Glenn Wallace to ask him not to come to Santa Barbara anymore: came from the Lockridge residence. He confronts Augusta, who disclaims being the author of the call and takes his accusation badly. Lionel hides from Augusta the fact that he is keeping Brandon from the Capwells for a party. Gina goes to the Orient Express where she follows Mary and Mason having dinner. She finds Augusta and Santana sitting down at the table there together. Augusta urges Santana to act to move Brandon from Gina and from Santa Barbara. Gina frightens Santana by telling her that she intends to send Brandon to a boarding school. Augusta pretending to get on well with Gina and comes back with her to the Capwell residence. She manages to make him say that C.C. doesn't love her anymore, and that he isn't fond of Brandon anymore. But Brandon hears his mother and bears a grudge against her to hold such purposes. Augusta is proud of her blow. She, however shows a new stage of jealousy to Lionel having learnt that he once again spent the evening with Brandon. Mary and Mason come back to the villa after a nice dinner to have dessert and to dance. Mason gets a kiss from Mary even. But Gina arrives and sees them going upstairs...

Episode 299

Lionel learns from Gina and Julia that Augusta has a plan to remove Brandon from his adopted mother. He sends a message from his home to Brandon to arrange to meet him in the gazebo on the Capwell property. But Sophia intercepts the call and finds Lionel. She pleads Gina's case, arguing that she is the only mother whom Brandon knows. Lionel is persuaded and has an explanation with Augusta as for his activities. Eden comes back from Hawaii with Kirk. Kirk tells her that he is Jack Lee's son. After catching up with Cruz, Eden is going to see her father. She reminds Ted and Gina of the promise that she made to him which was not keeping him living artificially. Gina, enticed by the idea, hastens to speak to Sophia about it. Cruz, he, is completely opposed to any idea of euthanasia. Eden has a nightmare where she sees herself as a prisoner of the machine which keeps her father living. At the same time, Gina comes back into the C.C.'s room and goes up with the delight of these machines...
