Episode 240

Lionel receives lots of mail after his television appearance, one is a recipe of an aphrodisiac drink. Lionel prepares it in a glass, but it is Augusta who drinks this inadvertently. She urges Lionel to sleep with her, but the rest of the drink causes her to have a big sleep. Maggie, Warren and Mason meet an old employee of the oil rig who tells them the name of a colleague hurt during the explosion. In Vienna, Amy and Brick find the luxury hotel where the wrong Jack and Julia went. An old server gives them a delicious meal at Jack's expense. They succeed in meeting Julia, who is surprised to see them in Vienna. She explains to them that Jack planned to leave the city for a trip for many days by train, the destination an island of the name of New Stailand. Eden and Cruz welcome the famous Nell Carter at the Capwell Hotel. A thief enters his suite to steal his jewellery and locks up Eden and Cruz in the bathroom. Locked in the room where they came to repair a leaking tap, they begin arguing again, unable to announce their feelings. Bored, Cruz returns Eden her engagement ring...

Episode 241

Having spent the long hours with Jack, Julia is persuaded that she is dealing with a phoney. She tells Amy and Brick that the trip by train is envisaged for the following evening, with a view to attending a coronation. Dressed in a provocative way, Christie is taken as a prostitute by a client in the State Street bistro, who assaults her on the street. Steve arrives and hits the man to scare him off. He proves to be very protective towards Christie after recalling strange memories. Mason welcomes Mary, Christie's sister, who has come to stay in the Capwell residence. He falls immediately for her charm. Steve informs Sophia that she must fast find a lawyer for landing in the absence of Jack Lee. Sophia asks Mason to replace him, in spite of C.C.'s disapproval and his role in the ongoing affair with Gillis. After Mason's decision to accept, C.C. seems to feel violent headaches. In ghost town, Kelly and Nick find a boot of old costumes, including wedding costumes. They dress in them and extemporise a ceremony in front of Brigitte, as their witness...

Episode 242

In Vienna, the wrong Jack goes back into Julia's room, while Amy is there. Amy just has the time to hide in the bathroom, and to go into the neighbouring room, that of Jack's, by the window. Alerted by Amy, Julia goes the opposite way by the same window. Maggie finds Morgan Malone's trace, an old colleague of Ben. His ex-wife explains to them that they parted after Morgan received a big amount of money after the explosion of the rig. Warren thinks he is on an interesting track, but Maggie is suddenly against him, accusing him of being jealous of her love for Ben. Later, she finds him in a party and apologises for her behaviour. In the newspaper, Warren receives an anonymous letter signed with Robin Hood which tells him that the occupier of the room 400 of the Capwell Hotel made a donation important for charity work. It proves to be that it is the room where Eden and Cruz are still locked in the bathroom. Upon his return, Nell Carter releases them and discovers the disappearance of his necklace in diamonds worth 100 000 dollars...

Episode 243

On the advice from his doctor, Lionel spends the day fantasising about scenarios of seduction with Augusta to awaken his libido. But when the instance arrives, in spite of Augusta's efforts, he remains powerless. He understands that it is because Augusta is still unable to tell him that she loves him. Mary invites Christie to have lunch in The Mesa. But she surprises her by inviting Steve as a guest also which isn't well received. She suggests that they share a flat together, now that Steve works in Santa Barbara. When talking one on one, it is confirmed that Christie and Steve had an adventure forced together. Christie pushes back his advances, using the fact that she is going out with Ted as an excuse. Julia locks up Amy and Brick in a trunk and has them loaded on the train. A fancy-dress party gives an opportunity to Amy and Brick to sail between the passengers, who all go to the coronation of the new king of the Island of New Stailand, which proves to be a baby. In ghost town, Kelly has a feeling of faintness having eaten the not eatable bays. In her frenzy, she pronounces Joe's name. But she ends up waking up, happy to find Nick there...

Episode 244

Steve Bassett visits the Capwells and offers Sophia to plead guilty of murder to avoid a trial dishonouring her family. Ted and Mason reject his offer. Augusta comes from there confessing to Lionel that she is jealous of Sophia. Lionel tries unsuccessfully to swear to her that he feels nothing more for her for many years now. So, when Steve comes to ask them to participate in Sophia's trial as witnesses of the re-enactment of Channing Jr's murder, Augusta is joyed at the idea of testifying against her enemy. In front of alarmed Lionel, she tells Ted on the telephone that her friend Christie is only a burglar. Mason asks him to get rid of it having learnt that she is Steve's step-sister. Tearful, Christie recollects the first time when Steve fooled her the day of her birthday. In the train which is taking them to New Stailand, Amy and Brick are about to be discovered by the wrong Jack, in spite of their fancy dresses. They see themselves prohibited by his henchmen to leave the fancy-dress ball. Eden asks Cruz to investigate a new theft of jewellery at the Capwell Hotel. But Cruz refuses to render his service, being in rest. Exceeded by his small game, he makes her understand that he cannot support the games of cat and mouse with her anymore...

Episode 245

Laken decides to shave Ted's beard. Sophia announces to C.C. that she has decided to plead guilty to murder. C.C. opposes to it. But in front of this confrontation with Sophia and also with Ted who refuses to go to Harvard University, C.C. is once again taken by violent headaches. On board of the train, Julia pretends to agree to present herself to Jack so that he leaves Amy and Brick alone. It tests him on his memories of their first meeting, but thanks to information recovered real-time by the true prisoner Jack, the wrong Jack is capable of answering her. He urges Julia to marry him on board of the train. Amy and Brick are about to be discovered, but Julia cuts the light of the dining car and allows them to run away. They find shelter in the cabin of the wrong Jack where they discover a safe. But Jack's bodyguard finds them and a fight bursts out. Kelly wakes up from the feeling of faintness and tells Nick that she feels so loving towards him as she was of Joe. They kiss each other...

Episode 246

After his dispute with his father who cuts his supplies, Ted decides to leave the Capwell residence to live with Mason, in Kelly's flat. Christie finds him there exiting the shower and persuades him that she will be able to make him a lot happier than Laken. But since Ted pushes her back, Christie enters in a rage. Cruz declares to Steve that he intends to testify in favour of Sophia if there is a trial. He announces his decision also to Mason and Sophia. By entrusting him with the love and respect, C.C. manages to make Sophia change her mind. She agrees to plead not guilty finally. C.C., who has taken tests for his headaches, accepts a call from his doctor: he has an aneurism in the brain. But he refuses to hear him. Kelly and Nick make love. More than ever collusive and intimate, they decide to organise a wedding ceremony in period costumes to celebrate their love...

Episode 247

Kelly and Nick think seriously of going back to Santa Barbara. But Kelly fears not recognising anybody or any place. While she is outside the ghost town at night, a helicopter flies over her. She chooses to put her lamp out with oil and lets it spin. Ivan, the bodyguard of the wrong Jack Lee, fell from the train during his fight with Brick. Brick is uninterrupted to hide in Julia's trunk with Amy as soon as the henchmen of the wrong Jack go up to their cabin. The wrong Jack, who suspects Julia of hiding something from him, makes the train stop to search it from top to bottom. He finds Julia in his cabin with two glasses of wine. Christie packs her suitcase, to leave the Capwell residence. Before leaving, she hides the bracelet in Ted's jacket which he bought for Laken. Stunned Ted asks her to return it to him, but Christie runs away to the beach bar. Ted finds her there and they argue. Under the eyes of Danny and of Steve, both staying hidden out of the way, Christie, becomes very angry, bites Ted on the arm, then chafes him to the face...

Episode 248

By recreating the conditions of their first night of married life, Augusta manages to awaken Lionel's libido. During his advertising for Zimmermann mattresses he thanks the viewers who sent him their advice and reads a poem for Augusta. Julia makes the wrong Jack believe that both glasses are different wines which she took. The train arrives at the destination, Julia and the wrong Jack board a boat. Amy and Brick succeed in going aboard also by passing for the cooks. While C.C. takes Sophia out to have dinner, Mason welcomes Mary DuVall in the Capwell residence. Having dinner, he invites her to dance. But he becomes disappointed when Mary tells him that she is a nun. In the beach bar, Ted manages to recover his bracelet and leaves, his cheek covered in blood. Christie is joined by Steve who is excited, and makes her tell him that she loves him. He then rapes her in the middle of the tables. He hears a noise and escapes by leaving unconscious Christie on the ground. Mason finds Ted in their flat, who refuses to tell him where the scratches on his face came from...

Episode 249

A new jewellery theft takes place at the Capwell Hotel, this time at the expense of the actress Michelle Phillips. Eden is jealous with the seductive approach that she takes with Cruz, who has come to investigate. Kelly and Nick leave the ghost town, in spite of Kelly's apprehension to find a family that she can't remember. They go back to the farm of the Vietnamese, but the henchmen of the wrong Jack Lee find their trace. In the early hours, Ted accepts Laken's visit. He explains to her the origin of his scratches to his face. Laken, finally, seems to have decided to make love with him. Danny and Mary discover Christie shell-shocked and covered with blood in beach bar. Driven to the hospital, Christie pronounces Ted's name continuously. While she begins waking up, Cruz questions her to find out who is responsible for her state. Mary and her mother give Ted's name forward immediately. Facing Steve who stands there in front of her bed, Christie says that it is Ted...
