Episode 230

Christie incidentally meets her aunt at the Capwell Hotel, who tells her that her mother is worried that she has not returned home. Christie seems to reject her alcoholic mother. She accompanies Laken and Ted in the Capwell residence and again dreams living in wealth, with a loving and united family. Research opinions pass on television and radio about Kelly. Amy tells Eden and Cruz that she saw Kelly and Nick in Jack's office the day of their disappearance. Questioned by Cruz, the wrong Jack takes Nick for a lunatic who undoubtedly drew Kelly away in his madness post Vietnam. He repeats his wrong accusations to C.C.. Meanwhile, Nick manages to avoid his jailers. He hides in a farm, the owners being of Asian origin who agree to believe in his history. But the henchmen of the wrong Jack find his trace and Nick runs away in the forest. He tries to hide in an old well, but the cowardly rope gives way and he falls to the bottom of the hole. He however hears his pursuers say that Kelly did not die in reality...

Episode 231

Lionel organises the creation of the whole decor to follow his plan of Augusta's reconquest: he calls the interior decorators and a sound engineer to accompany Frank to the party which he envisaged to take place the following day with Augusta. Augusta, conscious that something is happening, decides to use this occasion to take revenge on Lionel. After an outburst with the Capwells, Santana goes to Gina's home to speak to her about Brandon. She is only causing her major problems. Nick manages to get out of the well in which he fell and goes back to the farm. The couple of farmers tell him that the telephone works again, but that they risk for others to hear it. And indeed, as well as this call gives C.C. the message which he leaves on Cruz's answering machine, some audible words that give them the feeling that he kidnapped Kelly and that he threatens to kill her for ransom money. Cruz refuses to believe in the guilt of his friend. He decides to leave to conduct his research. Eden is obvious following him...

Episode 232

Lionel and Frank drive Augusta to the decor created for her. With different techniques, they make her believe that she takes the plane with Frank, then that she enters a luxury hotel with him for a romantic evening in front of the fire. But Frank does not cease combining bloopers, while the sound engineer, hard of hearing, sometimes throws in out of place sound effects. Augusta goes from surprise to surprise, with Laken watching, who disapproves of the operation. In the absence of Laken, Christie invites Ted for a swim in the Lockridge swimming pool. She makes him understand her attraction for him and her intent to embrace him. But Ted pushes her back, explaining to her that he wants to remain faithful to Laken. Amy finds Brick searching Jack Lee's office. He finds a file there on Dr Renfro. Eden and Cruz are on Nick's track. They meet the couple of farmers who keep their silence, then arrive at the hotel where Kelly and Nick were made prisoners. They find photos of Kelly and a request of ransom signed by Nick, but written by Renfro. They decide to spend the night in the same bed. Persuaded that Nick died in the well, the wrong Jack shows himself to Kelly and entrusts her to be his cousin. Renfro places Kelly under a machine intended to make her lose her memories, and puts it in function. Nick, on the motorbike lent by the farmers, finds their trace. He catches the weapon of one of Jack's henchmen, but he is controlled by his acolyte. He just has the time to disconnect the machine linked up to Kelly...

Episode 233

Lionel tries to exchange her place with Frank when he passes to the bed with Augusta. But Augusta draws the curtains of the bed and asks Frank to simulate that he is making love with her. Lionel, gnawed by jealousy, draws the curtains and discovers that Augusta has vision and that she made light of him. Upon the return of his mother, Laken discovers that she has vision now. Augusta challenges Lionel to succeed in recovering her. Brick shows Amy the file which he found in Jack Lee's office: it proves to be that he paid all the medical expenses since she got pregnant. Amy questions Jack on this subject, and he plays the devoted admirer to clear himself. He asks him for Brick's address to be able to talk with him, and takes his revolver with him. The machine of Dr Renfro has its effect: Kelly wakes up forgetting everything including her name. Nick manages to avoid his attackers and runs away with Kelly on the farmer's motorbike. They come to alert Eden and Cruz whom they saw with Nick and his men. They tell him where he went, but the place was emptied. With Nick's motorbike having broken down, Kelly and him are at the side of the road in the middle of the night...

Episode 234

C.C. opposes to Ted's university changes to follow Laken's footsteps. Christie accepts the visit of her sister Mary, a nun, who has come to invite her to celebrate the birthday of their mother at the Orient Express. As she misses her bus for Ventura, Ted offers to drive her there by car. Lionel promises Augusta a big romantic party and is fascinated by San Simeon. But the plan falls to the water and they meet in a pathetic hotel room along a motorway. Even in bed, it is a failure. Brick asks Julia for her opinion on Jack Lee. In his office, Julia finds plane tickets for Vienna. After a discussion with Augusta, she persuades herself that while sleeping with Jack she will know if it is still the same man she knew. She joins him and invites herself on his trip to Vienna. Brick surprises Jack before his departure, destroying documents in his office. Both men begin fighting, when Jack's henchmen arrive and stop Brick. Helped by their farm friends, Kelly and Nick run away across the forest. They arrive in a ghost city of the far west era and decide to become established there...

Episode 235

Ted leaves Christie at his mother's. As she forgot to buy a present, Ted later comes back knocking on the door with a bottle of perfume that Christie gives to her mother. Her mother is suddenly aggressive towards her daughter, whom she suspects of delinquency to have succeeded to pay for this present. In a clash, Theda throws a bottle of alcohol to the floor and Christie discovers that her mother did not give up drinking. Kelly and Nick have a good time as children in the saloon of ghost town. Eden continues reproaching Cruz for having stopped her mother. They send for a scientist who identifies the strange machine which they found as a machine to erase memory. Brick manages to avoid Jack Lee's men. He goes to his hotel room to wait for him and sees Dr Renfro arriving. He stuns him and drives him to Amy's. Having trussed him up on a chair, Amy and Brick attack him with questions on his role in the kidnapping of the baby. But Renfro swears that he did not act illegally. Amy catches the weapon from Brick and threatens Renfro with renewed vigour...

Episode 236

Theda shows aggressiveness towards Christie and she decides to leave the family home with Ted. But her brother-in-law, Steve, enters and makes Christie stay. With the aid of his family, Christie finally joins Ted in his car and asks him to take her out of the Lockridge place. Steve announces to Mary and Theda that he has just got the post of a prosecutor's assistant in Santa Barbara. After Santana's visit, Gina persuades herself that Santana is doing everything to separate her from Brandon. She asks Mason for some money and solicits her pusher at the private hospital to help her escape. While he is ready to tell them where the baby was taken, Dr Renfro is killed under Amy and Brick's eyes. They just have the time to run away. Brick phones Julia and informs her that Jack killed Renfro and that she must be wary of him. But Julia decides to follow him nonetheless to Vienna. Amy and Brick spend the night in a motel and make love once again...

Episode 237

Back at home, Augusta finds Christie with Minx's necklace in her hand which had disappeared. She reveals that she saw her flying and giving her candlesticks there, and asks her to leave the Lockridge residence. Laken informs Ted, who offers for his father to meet Christie. After a short meeting, Christie agrees to hire her as an instructor for Brandon. Lionel follows a recipe worthy of a magical potion to struggle against his sexual breakdowns. The brew causes him enthusiasm, but makes him ill before having been able to make love with Augusta. Kelly finds the diary of a dancer in the saloon in ghost town. She decides to have a bath in an old tub and does her best to entice Nick, by asking him to rub her back in the water. But Nick keeps at a good distance, refusing even to see her naked. Gina escapes from the private hospital and phones Mason. Mason organises a meeting at home with Brandon. But Gina cannot content herself with it and is going to find her son at the Andrades. She leaves a note for Santana and runs away with Brandon...

Episode 238

Nick succeeded in capturing a rabbit for dinner, but Kelly opposes to the fact that he killed it. After the visit of a visitor, they hear a helicopter fly over ghost town. Kelly prevents Nick from calling for help, wanting to stay there alone with him. They end up embracing each other. Amy and Brick decide to join Julia and Jack in Vienna. Brick phones Minx so that she sends her some money to pay for plane tickets. In Vienna, Julia finds a rather violent Jack in his physical element with her, and she pushes him back again. Steve Bassett visits Sophia and announces that his trial is going to begin very soon. Santana discovers that Brandon disappeared. She alerts C.C immediately. Mason finds Gina's trace in a motel. He pretends to want to help her find Brandon and makes her go up to his car. But Gina surprises him by phoning C.C. and stuns him with a vase...

Episode 239

Augusta gets the naked waitresses to perform a sexy dance in front of Lionel in the hope of awakening his libido, in vain. Lionel asks for Frank's advice, then, half drunk, reveals his problems of direct impotence on television during advertising for mattresses from Zimmerman. Mason stops Gina before she stuns him. He explains to her that he is interested to see Brandon out of the Capwell residence. Gina ends up accepting, and goes back to the private hospital after a new incident with Santana. Reassured, C.C. is allowed to embrace Sophia. Kelly gives Nick a dance at the saloon. She assures him that her amnesia does not prevent her from being sure of her feelings for him. Minx goes to take some money to Amy and Brick. But the henchmen of the wrong Jack Lee find their trace and attack Brick in the hotel room. Brick jumps out the window and runs away with Amy to the airport, to take the plane for Vienna...
