Episode 220

At two o'clock, Eden joins her mother in the guest house, since Cruz has not made his decision yet. Eden confirms her love, her support and expresses her opinion that she knows that the death of Channing Jr is an accident. Cruz speaks to his friend Nick about his anxiety to make a decision and possible consequences of his future life with Eden. Cruz replaces the security guard in front of the guest house and finds Eden. This latter, after understanding that Cruz has still not made his decision, pushes Cruz back. She joins Sophia who has a nightmare : she realises that she must go to Channing Jr's grave.  Maggie offers her sofa to a drunk Warren. Both have a debate where they prove to be honest with each other.  Nick tells his terrible memories of Vietnam to Kelly and more particularly of his best friend there, who saved his life and his phobia of fire. Kelly recommends for him to face his fears so he doesn't spoil his future. Gina blows up facing C.C. on her pills, Sophia's guilt, and her pregnancy. C.C. then accuses her for the accident of Brandon. He then makes Gina stay up in his company all night.  Gina pleads for C.C. to give her pills. Both are exchanging in not very flattering purposes : Gina treats C.C. like a monster who wants to watch enduring people and controlling his children's lives. C.C. retorts that without him, she would only be a secretary who crosses and unfolds her legs in front of her boss, to trap him as she trapped Stockman. Gina threatens him to run away with Brandon. Ted interrupts them. Gina recognizes her intoxication to forget and asks for help. She avows to C.C. that Hank Judson was her dealer. C.C. calls a doctor to put Gina in a private clinic. Gina fears that C.C. wants to lock her up. In the graveyard, at her son's grave, Sophia pleads her forgiveness, with Eden and Cruz watching. Cruz finally makes his decision. Sophia confirms to Cruz that the evening of the murder, she only wanted to frighten Lionel. Eden intervenes, rejecting Cruz's involvement. She ends up telling him that there cannot be a wedding if he removes her mother from her. And even if Eden slaps him and shouts at him that she will never forgive him, Cruz arrests Sophia...

Episode 221

The district attorney Tony Patterson decides to represent Sophia for first-degree murder. She risks 25 years with infinity. Jack comes to release her on bail at the police station. He then calls Parker at Amy's place while he is with her. Parker tells her on the telephone that she should not continue searching for her son if she wants him to survive. Amy tells Brick about this call, who accuses Jack of being associated with Renfro. C.C. announces that he is going to build a university in the name of Channing Jr. Gina panics at the idea of leaving for her rest home. Under duress, she says goodbye to Brandon and has an outburst leaving, thrown into a panic to see Sophia and Santana staying in the Capwell residence in her absence. C.C. has documents established to manage Brandon's money in Gina's absence. But Mason tells him that Gina has already signed these same documents. He accuses Sophia and C.C. of having organised everything to get rid of Gina. Eden refuses to accept the decision which made Cruz regarding her mother. In a disagreement about charges fixed by Patterson, Cruz hands him his policeman's badge. Eden goes to his boathouse to take her belongings and leaves...

Episode 222

Gina accepts Mason's visit, then C.C.'s at her detoxification rest. She makes a scene at the arrival of C.C.. A patient with whom she got on well offers her a sedative to discharge her. Cruz's boss refuses his resignation. Eden and Cruz have the beginning of an explanation, which is again transformed into a dispute and into incomprehension. C.C. gives Eden the presidency of the business linked to the Capwell Hotels. He also asks her to supervise the defence which he entrusted to Jack Lee in affair with Well Gillis. Discovering that Jack took the affair back in hand, Julia manages to persuade Maggie to entrust her with this affair. She announces to Mason that they are going to have to work together. Warren and Maggie ask for Cruz's assistance. Cruz tells them the name of a friend having been in contact with another victim of the explosion on the rig. Warren phones the Capwell Firms to get the name of the employees on the rig, but Eden intercepts the call. She decides to cause Cruz's initiative to fail...

Episode 223

It proves to be that the wrong Jack is the cousin of the famous lawyer, to whom he copied the face, without succeeding however in becoming a non smoker like him. He tells Amy and Brick that Dr Renfro disappeared without leaving a trace. Meanwhile, an old king in his palace seems at the point to name Amy's baby as his successor. Julia informs the wrong Jack that she is working against him in the Gillis affair. But she makes him believe that she could announce information of the file to him if he agrees to socialise with her. She entices him and, at the time of making love with him, she leaves his room to ridicule him. Lionel, still present beside Augusta, draws attention to Augusta. Augusta realises that somebody is with her in the home and calls the police. Discovering that it is Lionel, she pretends not to know him in front of the agents who have come to get him. Laken has no horseman anymore as the prom. Ted offers to accompany him. A man goes to Nick's as being a veteran of Vietnam of the same unit as him. But Nick discovers that it is a journalist who has come to investigate him. Enticed Christie follows him up to his hotel. Nick shows Kelly the photos of Vietnam that he kept under his bed. He tells her about his hell...

Episode 224

Ted offers Christie to go with him for a job interview at the Orient Express. Looking forward to an answer, Christie phones her mother from the Lockridge's place. She uses Augusta's blindness to hide candlesticks which she leaves at a lender's on pledges. Ted invites Laken to leave the promotion ball for a short time in the Orient Express. Laken confesses to him that she applied to be included in another university different to Ted. Lionel once again makes Frank intercede to entice Augusta. But Augusta seems to begin having feelings for him. At the time when they are going to embrace each other, Lionel takes Frank's place besides Augusta. Whilst searching Jack's briefcase, Julia manages to find the list of the employees of the oil rig the day of explosion. She gives this to Mason. Kelly gets from Nick of the photos of the Orient Express for Eden. In the foyer of the hotel, she recognises Jack Lee and surprises him in the lift smoking...

Episode 225

Augusta pushes back Lionel, whom she takes for Frank, and is surprised that he does not speak to her. Fortunately, Frank arrives with Julia and Lionel takes him out of this bad situation. He then goes back to see Augusta and tries to go back to her, but she refuses any resumption of their relationship. Ted insists that Eden employs Christie as a waitress in her restaurant. Finally, Christie and Ted meet to try on their new uniforms as waiters in the Orient Express. Laken and Ted have an explanation, after Laken confesses to him to have made love with her ex-boyfriend, Mark. Ted remains persuaded that their love is stronger than the dealings of their lives. Kelly follows the wrong Jack in the lift of the Capwell Hotel and picks up the stub. She is currently sure for certain that it is the man whom she had seen smoking in the villa where she had brought back the suitcase. She speaks about it to Nick, who offers to go to spy on Jack from the building in front of his office...

Episode 226

Christie and Ted begin their first day in the Orient Express. But Christie draws attention by refusing to wear her uniform because of the breakdown of the air conditioning. Gina continues accepting sedatives from a friend at the detoxification centre. But this friend seems especially motivated by the destiny which Gina is hiding. Maggie and Warren meet an ancient worker of the oil rig. But this worker refuses to speak to them in fear of trouble from his employer, since he got a new less demanding place in the Capwell Firms. Warren made Maggie understand that Well would be better placed in a medical centre, and that she uses him only as an excuse to disclaim their love. Maggie slaps him and refuses to see him again. Warren goes home that evening, forces the door, and embraces her with passion. Brick bears a grudge against Amy for not telling him who could really be the father of her baby. But Amy is still persuaded that it can only be Jeff. Kelly and Nick become established in the building in front of the Capwell Hotel and spy on the office of Jack Lee with binoculars and a telescope. They see people coming and going - Amy, Brick and finally Julia, in an a little more intimate position with Jack...

Episode 227

Julia lets herself once again fall for Jack just before sleeping with him. In the reception area of the Capwell Hotel, she surprises Lionel and Frank reserving marriage discussions. Lionel asks him to say nothing about it to Augusta. During this time, Augusta, by looking at a light, realises that she has a progressive view. At Frank's arrival, she points out that somebody else accompanies him: Lionel. Maggie pushes Warren back and rejects his truths violently on Well. Warren manages to appease him and they leave by car. Stopped at the edge of the ocean, Maggie fantasizes about Warren's body. While he repairs a flat tyre, Maggie gets closer to him and presents herself to him. A customer of the Capwell Hotel alerts Eden to the theft of a diamond jewel from her suite. Cruz is called to investigate. Eden, under pressure to follow him, uses this time to return to his alliance. Kelly and Nick see by the window of his office Jack smoking. Nick takes photos then uses his absence to search his office. But Jack comes back. Nick leaves a note on the window, asking Kelly to phone Jack to create a diversion. Kelly sees the note thanks to Nick's telescope and succeeds in leaving him the free field to escape. He succeeded in recovering information on when the suitcase at the origin of all affairs appeared. From his chair, Jack sees the note glued together on his window. He realises that he is being watched on the other side of the street by Kelly and Nick...

Episode 228

Augusta finds her view entirely. She is surprised to discover Julia transformed completely, far from the bit ugly and a big girl whom she had known. Julia confesses to him that Lionel spent all these last weeks in the villa and that Frank is only a dairyman whom Lionel used to give him confidence in her. Augusta then discovers that Jack, who has come to visit him, spends his time to fondle Julia's thighs. Julia confesses that she knew Jack in the past, long before Augusta made his acquaintance. To trap him, Augusta announces to Frank that she plans to organise a big society dinner in her honour. Maggie decides to put Well in a specialised health centre. She says goodbye and confesses to him after her night of love with Warren. Having put Nick's telephone on a listening device, Jack learns that he and Kelly are getting ready to search the office. He watches them, by binoculars, only to be surprised by Amy. His henchmen intercept Nick's message for Cruz and arrange to meet him in a garage near the Capwell Hotel. Under the threat of a weapon, they are made go up to the back of a car. Separated by a window pane, Dr Renfro, has the place of the passenger, drops a poisonous gas to Kelly and Nick...

Episode 229

Christie, happy to have received her first wage in the Orient Express, recovers the candlesticks which she had put on the security. She re-installs them in the living room of the Lockridge's, with Augusta watching. Julia explains to Jack that her sister has recovered her vision and that she knows that he tried to entice her. She is surprised that Jack seems to have forgotten that she had hurt him in the shoulder the evening of their break up. All the Capwells are worried about Kelly's disappearance. Locked up in a trunk of the car, Kelly and Nick are driven up to an abandoned hotel where they are trussed up on chairs by Dr Renfro and the men of the wrong Jack Lee. Renfro promises to Nick that at 10 pm, he will kill Kelly if no ransom is given. He calls Jack to ask him if he can employ Kelly. The wrong Jack gives him consent. At 10 pm, Nick suddenly hears a gunshot in the neighbouring room where Kelly was taken...
