Boswell tells Kelly and Reese that he saw B.J. leaving the police station with
Frank. Kelly persuades Reese to leave with her to search. Warren tells Sawyer
about the terrible history concerning his sister. Sawyer is collapsed, and does
not manage to understand how he could see nothing. Warren asks him to search for
B.J. He joins Kelly and Reese in the chalet with Walker and helps Reese to
accept the truth finally. B.J. drives Frank to Rosas Cantina to drink. She tries
to persuade him by making him believe that she shares the same feelings. But
when she speaks to him about going to see her mother before going to the hotel
with him, Frank guesses that B.J. tries to trap him. A demonstration takes place
against the demolition of the warehouse, which proves to be an ancient
slaughterhouse belonging to Angela. Angela tries to make the public understand
that she wants to destroy the building to replace it with a park, while it is
part of the historical architectural heritage of the city. Indoors, Jodie and
Cruz try to keep confidence. Jodie entrusts to Cruz that B.J. is his daughter...
tries to be excused by Gina for having doubted his sincerity while the
guardianship of Channing III was taking place. He asks Lily to help him to be
reconciled with her mother. B.J. persuades Frank that she feels a lot of love
for him and follows him up to a hotel. Kelly and Reese arrive at Rosas Cantina
and question the waitress who tells them that B.J. was present with Frank. At
the hotel, B.J. asks Frank to drive her to Jodie and Cruz, after which she will
present herself to him without a problem. Jodie apologises to Cruz to have lied
to him all these years about B.J.. She explains that at that time as a
17-year-old, she did not want to risk losing Reese with whom she wanted to make
her life with. Cruz excuses her. He writes the word "Help" with his
blood on a piece of paper and, in spite of the wound in his leg, tries to send
it across the tile broken by a window. Suddenly, B.J. makes her appearance in
the warehouse. Jodie and Cruz welcome her very full of emotion. Jodie asks B.J.
what she promised Frank so that he allows her to join them...
arrives at Gina's dressed in knight's armour, while she discusses the
guardianship of Channing III with C.C.. Gina criticises Lionel for his eccentric
behaviour, which could cost him the guardianship of Channing. Warren enters
Angela’s place in the early hours and they immediately argue about B.J..
Angela offers to return his clothes which he left at home so that he leaves
definitely. But there, she gives him Ted's clothes who she spent the night with.
Warren accuses her of deceiving him and leaves. In the warehouse, B.J. explains
to her mother and Cruz that she promised Frank to spend a last night with him.
Jodie is appalled and asks her not to give into the advances, in spite of the
threats. Frank listens to them, discreetly hidden. B.J. joins Frank and they
make a stopover in the diner where she had spent a night with Warren some weeks
earlier. She phones Angela's to reach Warren, in vain. Jodie manages to send by
the window pane broken at the warehouse a cry for help. By car, Frank says to
B.J. that he knows that she lies to him to save Jodie and Cruz. Warren arrives
at Angela's and questions her outright of the thread with B.J.. He understands
that she went with Frank to the famous diner...
gets the agreement from C.C. for the lawful guardianship of Channing III. A
homeless man finds the note thrown by Jodie outside the warehouse and recovers
the alliance that was used to tie him. He is stopped by a policeman in a zone
forbidden to the public, after a few minutes of the destruction of
slaughterhouses. At the police station, Reese recognises Jodie’s ring in the
homeless man’s possession. He immediately goes to the warehouse. C.C. arrives
at Angela's to invite her to have breakfast. Ted just has the time to hide not
to be seen by his father. He then phones the police station, and falls on Kelly
who he tells that Angela confirmed the destruction of slaughterhouses. Kelly
rushes there, and tries to prevent a programmed explosion. Inside the building,
Reese finds the trace of Jodie and Cruz. He helps his wife to slip under a door,
but does not manage to get Cruz, unable to move because of the wound to his leg.
Outside, Jodie joins Kelly. Suddenly, an explosion takes place...

The poor young interpreter of Channing III seems very frightened facing the armour worn by Lionel, and does not cease to cry as soon as he looks at him !
the explosives started and the building still stands. Reese gets up again,
coated with dust. He clears away pieces of the wall which encircle him and helps
Cruz, remaining unconscious under debris. Outside, Julia, Vic Boswell, Rafe and
C.C. join Kelly and Jodie. Rafe suddenly hears Reese shouting for help. Reese
ends up getting out of the building carrying Cruz in his arms. All go to the
hospital. Cruz, threatened to lose his leg, finally awakes and regains
consciousness on his own. While he falls asleep, Kelly hears him saying that he
is B.J.’s father. Frank drives B.J. to a hotel room and forces her to obey him.
He goes to the diner, where Warren and Sawyer notice him from a distance. Sawyer
phones his father at the police station, who immediately arrives by car with
Jodie. At the hotel, B.J. hears on the radio that Reese, Cruz and Jodie got out
unharmed from the explosion at the slaughterhouses. Warren joins Frank in the
diner and asks him to drive him to B.J....
hides dozens of banknotes in his room and lets Gina progressively discover them
with rejoicing. He declares that all his money is from now on also hers. In the
hospital, Cruz continues being delirious continuously pronouncing B.J.’s name.
In spite of Kelly’s intervention, he tries to get up and collapses down. C.C.
and Rafael call for a doctor. In the diner, Warren tries to stop Frank, but he
pushes him to the ground. Frank escapes up to his hotel where he finds B.J..
Jodie, Reese and Sawyer arrive there. They find B.J. and Frank’s room, but he
manages to escape. Jodie tries to comfort B.J. and to justify all of her
suffering. Sawyer finds Frank's trace on the beach. He tries to disarm him and
hits him very violently and repeatedly to the face, without managing to stop.
While Sawyer ends up getting up again, Frank grabs his revolver and points it in
is lying immobile on the beach. While Frank goes up to him, he gets him get up
again and continues the fight. Frank gets closer to his car and points the gun
again towards Sawyer, who collapses. Ted informs Angela that Cruz nearly died in
the destruction of the slaughterhouses, an owner of which she is. She
immediately calls C.C. to get advice on what she must do. Lisa and Rafe get
ready to make love, when Lily calls Rafe to ask him to come to replace the
pianist at the Oasis. Lisa invites Rich to join her to have dinner in the Oasis,
and to make Rafe jealous. Ted, who is sitting down at the table with Katrina,
sees Angela toasting a glass in the bar with C.C.. Haunted by her, he completely
forgets his neighbour at the next table. Jodie, Reese and Warren arrive on the
beach and find Frank's lifeless body, sitting in his car. Warren goes to the
diner to phone Boswell, when Sawyer appears, covered with blood and
shell-shocked. He swears that he did not kill Frank. In the hotel room, B.J.
gets out of the shower, also in a state of shock. She is persuaded that Frank is
going to come back be get her. Warren joins her and tells her that Frank died.
On the beach, Vic Boswell asks Sawyer to follow him to the police station to
question him. Reese fears that his son is accused of murder...
finds Gina and her team of Gina Jeans working in the meeting room of Capwell
Firms. He shows all of them the door and asks Gina to speed up the departure of
Ken. Gina finds an excuse to send Ken in the evening to Hong Kong. In his
hospital bed, Cruz dreams that he is married to Jodie and that he must announce
to B.J. that she is in fact Reese’s daughter. On his waking, he thinks that it
is better to continue hiding the truth from B.J. and Reese. Sawyer’s arrest
hits the headlines of Santa Barbara Tribune. Micah tries to hide
the information from Aurora, in vain. Sawyer is questioned by Julia and Vic
Boswell. Connor McCabe, a N.B.I. agent, makes his appearance to take the affair
into his own hands. He obtains the results from Frank’s autopsy and discovers
that Frank did not die from an internal haemorrhage further to the fight, but by
a bullet. Sawyer refuses the advice from a lawyer. He swears that he heard only
three gunshots, contrary to his parents who heard four. Connor announces that
traces of powder were found on his t-shirt. He decides to indict him with murder...

hospital, Kelly tells Cruz that Frank died and that Sawyer is the prime suspect.
Warren watches over B.J. and accompanies her to the police station. Sawyer
continues proclaiming his innocence facing Connor McCabe, defended by his
parents and Aurora. Connor moves the idea forward that if it is not Sawyer who
pulled the trigger on Frank, it is willy-nilly Jodie, Reese or Warren. B.J.
takes the blame for having created all these worries in the family. Jodie asks
her not to feel guilty anymore. Taken to the chalet by her parents, B.J. has a
nightmare where she sees everyone pulling the trigger one after another on Frank
on the beach. Then, she sees Frank getting up again, still alive. She wakes up,
thrown into a panic. Warren comforts her...

asks Julia if she knows a good lawyer to defend Sawyer. Julia immediately thinks
of Mason, who has just been returned to the bar. Sawyer discovers that Aurora
plans, at the request of her father, to leave Santa Barbara to undertake studies.
He offers her a break. Aurora loses her temper, wanting first of all to stay
with Sawyer. Julia and Mason inform Micah that the leader's post of surgery is
available in the Santa Barbara hospital. Gina, Lionel, Lily and Minx go to the
office of a judge to make the adoption official of Channing III by Lionel. But
C.C. keeps people waiting. He ends up finally arriving and signs the papers.
Micah explains to Jodie that he does not want Aurora to go out with Sawyer, now
that he is suspected of murder. Exhausted, Jodie has a feeling of faintness.
Aurora and Sawyer go to the Oasis, where Sawyer must be photographed by a famous
photographer of stars. But Connor McCabe and Vic Boswell come into sight, and
put Sawyer under arrest. Mason then offers to be his lawyer...
