Episode 1660
Pamela
is delighted that Mason accepts for her to accompany him to the family dinner at
the Capwells. Mason even encourages her to announce there what she told him
about Cassandra's origins. He tells C.C. that he will come to the party
accompanied with a friend. Andre phones Eden. He tells her that Minx keeps a
considerable amount of jewellery in the presidential suite of the Capwell Hotel
and asks her to enquire about their location. Eden goes to see Minx and tries to
find out where she keeps her jewellery. Minx tells her that she keeps them
within hands reach. In the Capwell Oasis, Cassandra receives delivery of a dress
which Mason organised for his mother. She explains to him that she hid the truth
about Minx from him, fearing that he rejects her. She thinks that Mason has a
new girl-friend for whom the dress is intended for. Craig goes to Julia's office
so that she organises documents certifying 50 % of the property of Barr
Industries. He asks her if she would be interested in becoming the district attorney
in
case Keith loses his post. Julia wonders about the reasons of this question.
While C.C., Sophia and Eden are united in the Capwell residence, Mason enters
with Pamela, dressed in a provocative green dress. Pamela swears that she is
cured and begins talking as nothing happened. C.C. demands from Mason that he
leaves the villa with his mother...
Episode 1661
Augusta
asks Michael to help her to prove that she is under no circumstances linked to
the mafia activities of her late husband, Anthony Tonell. In The Lair, Michael
arrests Dash after a rape on a young woman two hours earlier. In the Capwell
villa, Mason gains permission to remain having dinner with Pamela. All become
established at the table. Kelly arrives at the tower and is shocked to see
Pamela. Mason takes out a flask of alcohol from his pocket and fills his glass
with it. He offers to organise Pamela's judgement and names Cassandra as a
witness at the trial. Pamela begins telling them while she was engaged to Grant
Capwell, she fell in love C.C. and got married to him. Mason makes Sophia admit
that she was not in love with C.C. when she began seeing him frequently, while
she was pregnant to Lionel. Sophia stresses the fact that she has finally fell
in love with him this time. She explains that she hid the letters written by
Pamela from Mason, because these encouraged Mason to be physically taken to her.
Eden doesn't support any more explanations from Sophia and loses her temper.
Rosa intervenes to remind Mason that there are people unhappier than him, and
reminds him about his hard living conditions at the Capwells. C.C. grabs Mason's
glass, and everybody discovers that it contains apple juice...

Episode 1662
Dash
refuses to be arrested by Michael and launches a violent fight in The Lair. Cruz
intervenes to separate them. Julia confides in Augusta that she saw Dash at the
time when the rape took place. Augusta suggests that she says nothing, to let
Dash be accused of rape. Julia goes to the police station to see Dash, but
chooses to say nothing and leaves again. In the Capwell villa, Pamela jumps up
and down at the idea of revealing the identity of Cassandra's mother. When she
speaks about the Lockridge name, then pronounces Minx, everybody looks at her
like they don't believe her and take her for a madwoman. Mason makes Cassandra
admit that Pamela tells the truth. Cassandra fears, for reason, C.C.'s reaction
towards her. C.C. announces that Pamela's doctor arrived to see her out to the
asylum. Taken by madness, she pretends to choke Kelly. C.C. reveals that Pamela
was not released from the private hospital for healing, but because he made a
deal with her so that she gets out on the condition of remaining distant from
him. Mason discovers that C.C. has known all this time that his mother was
committed. Pamela kisses Mason on the lips, and is seen out to the asylum. Mason
is taken to his family and more particularly to C.C.. Alone, he lights five
birthday candles which Pamela had brought for him...
Last
appearance in the series of Pamela Conrad. It is said that Pamela left Santa Barbara and the Capwells just before Mason's fifth birthday. But Mason was born in 1954, and Pamela left C.C. in 1956 while she was pregnant with Elena, who was born the next year in 1957. So, Mason had to be in fact at the most two years old at his mother's departure. |
Episode 1663
Cassandra
goes to see Minx and asks her to tell her who her father is. Minx refuses to
answer her, thinking that the information will only cause more trouble. C.C.
apologises to Rosa after the party. Rosa explains to him that she has no choice
but to remain working for the Capwells since Ruben left her. Cassandra asks C.C.
to excuse her for not having told him that Minx is her mother. But C.C. does not
seem ready to trust her again. Quinn asks Julia for legal advice. He introduces
her to the case of one denominated "Q" the twin brother who would have
been killed in his place. Julia understands that she is not facing Robert, but
Quinn. But having become his lawyer, she has to keep it secret. Quinn explains
to her that Kelly's baby is his, and asks her to help him to recover her. Kelly
has lunch with Mason in The Lair. She asks him, in vain, to cease being taken to
Sophia and C.C.. After her departure, in the presence of Flame and Michael, she
feels a deep pain in her stomach...
Episode 1664
Gina
and Keith meet Dr Grant Jameson. He speaks to them about the method of in vitro
fertilization, which could allow to Gina to conceive a child. Andre turns up at
Eden's, while she works on an article with Chip. He insists that they finally
take care of the jewellery belonging to Minx Lockridge. Andre types a note on
Eden's computer. C.C. suggests to Julia that she be a candidate for the next
election as a district attorney. In The Lair, Michael takes care of Kelly and drives
her to the hospital. Flame phones Sophia to inform her, then asks Craig to alert
Robert. All run up to the hospital to see Kelly. Dr Jameson explains that it is
drugs which they made her take during her pregnancy that threaten to cause a
miscarriage. Quinn thinks that he will help Kelly if he tells her that the
father of her baby is still alive. Julia discourages him from it, fearing that
this revelation will cause more problems. Quinn is taken to Flame, whom he
considers to be representative for what happens to Kelly...
Episode 1665
In
the hospital, only Michael has the right to stay at Kelly's bed side. The
survival of her baby is still uncertain. Sophia tries to have a debate with
Mason to persuade him of her love for him. Cruz joins Eden. He found information
written by Andre in her article about the break-in on her computer. He thinks
that she has an informant within the police and asks her who it is. Andre learns
from Eden that Minx is leaving for a conference in San Francisco. He urges her
to commit their theft of jewellery in the evening. Kelly has a nightmare
concerning Quinn and the baby. She wakes up and has a feeling that she had a
miscarriage. In a panic, she asks Michael to pray for the child. In her waking,
she finds Robert by her side, and grips him on his arm...
Episode 1666
Julia
questions Augusta about her reports with Robert. Robert receives a call from
Lionel, who is back from Macao. Eden and Andre leave following Minx, in search
of the safe where her jewellery is hidden. They are surprised by Augusta's
arrival and hide in the room, behind the bed. Augusta gets ready for Lionel's
return. On the floor near the bed, Andre and Eden find a vault. They discover
Minx's jewellery there which they hide. Eden also finds an envelope containing
an old photo of Sophia and Lionel. They manage to escape while Augusta and
Lionel get ready to make love on the bed. Sophia and C.C. learn that Kelly lost
her baby. They are going to see her in the hospital. Quinn, mad with rage, goes
on the yacht to recover the revolver. Flame discovers him and thinks that he is
going to kill her. Eden joins her parents in the hospital. By looking at the
photo which she found, she sees Sophia and Lionel together on the yacht just
before Sophia drowns...

Episode 1667
Keith
tells Gina that the mayor asked him to take proceedings against C.C. because of
big quantities of water which he uses with Capridge Water. Quinn finds Flame in
The Lair. Julia arrives just in time to prevent him from publicly taking out his
revolver. Flame asks for Minx's assistance, in vain. She then turns to Keith.
She threatens him with an audio recording where Keith speaks about the plan
which he had taken up with her against C.C.. Keith does not give into her
blackmail and refuses to help her. Laken tells her mother that she registered
for a club of motor racing, which does not win over Augusta. Cruz learns that
Minx has recently spoken with Eden about her jewellery. He takes the inquiry in
hand and searches Minx's presidential suite. Eden finds details on the theft of
Minx's jewellery on her computer and is unaware how they appeared there. Cruz
comes back and asks her if she spoke with Minx about her jewellery. Eden denies
doing so. In the hospital, Sophia and C.C. receive the visit of an old friend,
Richard Sedgewick. He visits Kelly. Flame finds shelter in the hospital chapel.
But Quinn joins him there...

Episode 1668
Quinn
threatens to shoot Flame, and even arms the gun with a silencer. Flame pleads
with him, reminding him that she has always acted with love for him. Quinn
withdraws, and pulls the trigger on a stained glass window which he blows up in
pieces. Richard Sedgewick announces to C.C. that he was contacted by the
President of the United States himself to sing for him in the Kennedy Centre in
Washington. Cassandra arrives at the hospital, surprised that nobody informed
her of Kelly's miscarriage. C.C. replies angrily at her that it is family
business. Mason gets closer to Cassandra to show her that they are currently
both the black sheep of the family. Mason is then delighted in front of Quinn
that Kelly's baby will not be born, with all harmful consequences which it would
have had. Anxious of sudden mood changes of Eden, Cruz offers her to be helped
by Dr Jamie Lawrence. But Eden refuses. Cruz thinks that the criticism which
Eden has with Sophia is linked to her disappearance and her return to Santa
Barbara in 1984. Sophia remembers that Eden has born a grudge with her for a
long time for her absence, but never included why. She finds Eden to try to
reason with her. Eden saw the instant again when she discovered that her mother
was still alive. She admits that she has never excused her...
Richard
Sedgewick learns that C.C.'s brother has recently died, a few days after
his birthday. They seem to have been very close friends. |
Episode 1669
Flame finds shelter in a tent on the beach. This proves to be Dash's new home. Michael intervenes later to evict them. Cassandra tries to make C.C. understand that she did not tell him the truth about her mother, because she feared his reaction. C.C. agrees to listen to her. On Robert's yacht Craig finds the compromising documents for Keith. He shows them to C.C.. Accompanied with Cruz, C.C. goes to Keith's office. He shows him proof in his possession which proves the irregularity of his ability as the D.A. He asks him to resign, without he will take measures concerning Brandon. Keith searches for a solution. He goes to the Capwell villa and shows C.C. a document certifying that the waters of Capwell property had been given to the city by C.C.'s father. He accuses him of fraud by commercialising Capridge Water which does not belong to him. C.C. is surprised, because Mason had undertaken the task to prove the legality of the operation before launching. At a few meters of C.C., Mason exults...
