Episode 1640
Filled
with emotion, Minx announces to Cassandra that she is her daughter. Cassandra
immediately criticises her for having left her without reason, and refuses the
family bracelet which Minx wants to give her. Laken and Amado are going to have
dinner in The Lair. Richie pays a man so that he hides Amado's wallet without
his knowledge. Michael is worried to see Julia trying to get her revenge on
Dash.
Augusta
discovers that her sister bought a rope.
Eden
tells her mother that she might know the man who entered by breaking-in to
their home. After finding a cheque from Minx for the Oasis plan, Cassandra is in
hysterics. Mason just manages to calm her down. Andre enters again by
breaking-in at
Eden
and Cruz's place. He is in search of jewellery which he suspects is in
Eden
's possession. On their return, Eden and Cruz note that their home was visited.
Eden
ends up telling Cruz the truth: that their burglar is a man named Andre Wolfe,
and that he sent her letters...
Episode 1641
C.C.
threatens Gina to go back on the guardian rights of
Brandon
if she marries Keith. Gina proves to be hesitant to continue her relationship
with Keith, employing her interest in Flame. Keith gives some money to
Brandon
so that he buys election voices from the pupils. Kelly and Craig are on the
beach. They kiss each other in front of the fire. Michael tries to persuade
Cassandra to excuse Minx. Dash receives a delivery of a bunch of flowers at
home. He thinks that they come from Julia. Julia arranges to meet her estate
agent in
Pacific
Bay
polo club. She asks him to find her a place to rent, in peace, near the
mountains.
Augusta
suspects that her sister hides something from her...
Episode 1642
Everybody
prepares their costumes for the masquerade ball which is to be held for the
occasion of the unveiling of Capwell Oasis. Cruz is ready to meet his burglar.
Dash receives an invitation for the ball which he imagines to have been sent by
Julia. Gina surprises
Brandon
giving a new CD reader to a friend so that he votes for him.
Brandon
confesses to him that idea comes from Keith. Gina criticises Keith for his bad
influence on her son. They go together to the masquerade ball. Julia buys a
small revolver which she hides in her handbag before leaving with
Augusta
. Sophia, C.C.,
Eden
and Cruz join Mason in Capwell Oasis. Mason is worried not to have seen
Cassandra for several hours.
Eden
turns around and, in spite of their respective masks, meets Andre...
Episode 1643
In
Capwell Oasis, the masquerade ball organised in favour of the Blue Sky Brigade
is in full swing. Minx meets Cassandra there, Dash finds Belinda Bradley there.
C.C. learnt that
Brandon
tried to buy a schoolmate off and threatens Gina to remove him from her custody.
Gina thinks of cancelling her wedding plans with Keith and even of breaking up
with him. At the same time, a bomb blows up in front of Eden and Cruz's home.
Cruz is alerted and goes there. He is surprised that only the front-door of the
home is damaged. He understands that the bomb had the only purpose of making him
momentarily leave the ball and leave
Eden
there alone. Julia arranges to meet in Dash outside. Dash waits for her, full
of hope. Julia joins him there and takes aim at him with her revolver. Cruz goes
back to the masquerade ball, but does not find
Eden
. She was driven out of the way by
Andre, who asks him to give him the splendid necklace which she wears around her
neck...
Episode 1644
Andre
throws himself on
Eden
's necklace to tear it off from her. Cruz intervenes, and Andre manages to
escape. Cruz takes
Eden
home. Laken and Amado arrive at the masquerade ball. They are joined by Richie.
Richie throws himself on Laken, and Amado attacks him. Policemen intervene to
separate them, and C.C. speaks to both men. In Capwell Oasis, Belinda Bradley
asks to dance with Quinn. Kelly and Craig spend the evening together dancing too.
Craig uses a pause to ask Kelly to marry him. Kelly declines the request, and
Craig prefers leaving. Kelly then dances with Quinn, and again sees moments of
the link with him.
Augusta
is worried not to find Julia anymore and leaves to find her on the beach with
Mason. They find one of her earrings. They go to her home and find Julia's note
announcing that she left for the chalet which she rented in the mountains. But
Augusta
is unaware where it is.
Eden
goes up to the loft in her home. She searches through an old dusty suitcase.
Inside, she finds a box of matches marked with the name of "Les Bit",
the Parisian restaurant about Andre spoke to her about. Cruz joins her, but
Eden
says nothing to him...
Episode 1645
Julia
drives Dash to the chalet which she rented in the mountains. Menacing with her
weapon, she makes him sit down and handcuffs him to the bar on the bed.
Augusta
, Mason and C.C. are worried about Julia's departure. Julia telephones
Augusta
to reassure her, but is very careful not to say where she is exactly.
Brandon
announces to Gina and Keith that he earned election votes from the pupils. He
goes to C.C. and asks him not to attack his mother because of her relationship
with Keith. He explains to him that he bought other pupils off on his own
initiative, and not under Keith's influence. C.C. redraws some base actions
which Keith made contrary to the Capwells in the past, but
Brandon
, unsettled, refuses to believe him. Cassandra asks Minx to reveal to nobody
that she is her daughter. Michael once again asks her to excuse her mother. In
the chalet, Julia asks Dash to publicly admit that he raped her, with a
confession which she will be able to use in the court. She promises him that
anyway, justice will be made...

Episode 1646
Brandon
asks Keith if it is true
that he blackmailed the Capwells in the past. Keith tries in vain to regain
Brandon
's confidence. He goes to C.C. and points out to him that he has never belittled
him in front of
Brandon
. But C.C. decides to prevent Keith from becoming
Brandon
's new father. He tells him that he knows that he deliberately cheated about the
bullet having been drawn by
Eden
. Flame joins Quinn on the yacht and tries to entice him. Andre finds a message
encoded in the newspaper, and thinks that it was addressed to him from
Eden
. He arranges to meet her by telephone on an uninhabited street.
Eden
asks him to cease calling her Lisa, but doubts it when Andre speaks to her
about "Les Bit", the Parisian restaurant that was labelled on the box
of matches which she found in her trunk in her loft. She gives him the necklace
that she wore the evening of the unveiling of Capwell Oasis. Andre discovers
that it is a forgery. He gives her 48 hours so that she gives him the original,
without it he will speak to Cruz about their common past in
Paris
. Cruz asks C.C. to be vigilant because of a wave of break-ins in
Santa Barbara
.
Eden
joins them, and C.C. entrusts her that the necklace which Sophia had lent her
was a copy. He asks her to bring it back to him as quickly as possible...
Episode 1647
Minx
shows Cassandra the diary in which she spoke about the abandonment then the
remorse. Cassandra orders her to destroy these pages and asks her to never again
try to see her. She then asks Michael to repeat nothing of her filiations. Amado
offers Minx to take back his job as a driver. With his assistance, Minx traps
Richie and notes that he is the one who wanted to get Amado for being a thief.
She asks him not to go up to Laken anymore in exchange for his silence. Mason
questions Richie, who entrusts to him to have seen Julia and Dash during the
masquerade ball near the golf course, before they headed for the parking bays.
In her chalet, Julia still tries to make Dash become aware that he raped her.
But Dash is only repeating that he passionately likes her and that she is wrong
about what took place. A neighbour knocks on the chalet, but Julia manages to
get rid of her. She is satisfied that Dash does not try to alert her on his
presence...
Episode 1648
Cruz
shows
Eden
a photo fit resembling Andre, but
Eden
maintains that it doesn't resemble him in any way. Augusta and Mason doubt that
Julia left for the mountains to write a book, as she said told them. Determining
Dash's disappearance, they begin thinking that Julia could have kidnapped him.
In the chalet, Dash refuses to be treated as an animal by Julia. He agrees to
tell her what she expects from him, but tells her that it will not be sincere.
He complies, and Julia seems to believe him, when Dash gets up suddenly and
encircles Julia with his arms, released from the handcuffs.
Eden
has flashes of a candle and of diamonds. She goes to the Capwell villa and
hides a candle. When Sophia surprises her,
Eden
seems lost. While she offers to help her,
Eden
replies angrily that she should rather have cared of helping her twenty years
ago.
Eden
immediately apologises and complains about a strong splitting headache. Andre
enters by breaking-in to the Capwells and overturns a vase. Sophia notices it
and understands that they have been burgled. She calls the police.
Eden
goes back home and melts the candle which she stole. Indoors, she takes a
diamond out from it...
Episode 1649
Kelly
announces to Quinn that she definitely decided to keep the baby. Still thinking
to be speaking to Robert, she explains to him that she loved him for bad reasons,
and that it is Quinn with whom she was indeed in love with. She announces to her
parents that she is moving out of the Capwell villa to earn her independence
finally. Dash drops Julia on the floor in the chalet, before trussing her up on
a chair. He tells her that he finds her activities inconsiderate, and accuses
her of having shouted rape because she did not support the idea of being loved
by a man who, for a time in her life, wanted to be good to her. Once Julia was
tranquilized, he takes her links off her. Julia makes Dash fall, who bashes his
head on a table. Seeing that he is hurt and unconscious, she runs in the forest
to find assistance. At night, she slips into a hole and a grave as deep as
several metres in an ancient mine. At the Capwells, Cruz phones
Eden
after the break-in. He leaves her messages on their answering machine, but
Eden
does not pick up. She leaves a note for Cruz with Andre's address. She goes
there, and hides the diamond in a lampshade in his building. For the first time,
Eden
accepts that Andre calls her Lisa. She explains to him that Cruz and the police
are about to arrive, and leads him to escape by the window. She hides in the bedroom
at the same time when Cruz bursts into the flat.
Eden
goes back home and finds Andre there. Both decide to become partners again, as
in the good old days...
