Episode 1420

In the Orient Express, Julia continues pretending to resist Mason's advances, to be in better control of the situation. While the restaurant is empty because of the advanced hour of the night, they are joined by Kelly who arrives half drunk with two lawyers. Mason asks his sister not to drive. Laura enters Ethan's office and discovers that she has just killed Sasha in fact. Sasha's last words indicate that she thinks she has been shot by Julia. Laura hides the body so that Ethan does not see her, then places her on the temporary seat of her car and sets off. She is stopped by a policeman. Thinking that she is nurse because of her attire, the man asks her to follow him to a car accident not far from there. It is Kelly, whose car overturned on the edge of a road. Eden and Cruz arrive there, and Kelly is removed from the car without damage. Cruz finds a champagne bottle and understands that Kelly is drunk. In spite of Eden's plea, he insists that she is arrested. Laura manages to leave the accident scene without being seen and goes to Julia's house. She leaves Sasha's body on the bed, and slips a plush rabbit into her arms. Julia and Mason arrive home. She kisses Mason and shows him the door. She is going to lie down and howls by discovering Sasha on her bed...

We discover that Julia wears contact lenses.

Episode 1421

In the early hours, Eden gets Kelly out from prison. Gina wakes up in Mack's caravan, still in a rage because of her mother to have ruined them with fire. Phyllis decides to search for a job with babies – in the newspaper announcements. Augusta comes to ask them for the refund from her villa, but Gina is penniless. Kelly, C.C. and Derek train for a polo match, but need another member in their team. Derek offers for Mack to join them. Mack sees an opportunity there to make money to help his mother and his sister. C.C. learns that Kelly had a car accident the day before. He criticises her for having said nothing about it, but Eden asks to let her take care of it alone. Laura arrives back to the asylum without being seen. Ethan joins her for her psychiatric valuation. Julia and Mason do not know what to do about Sasha's body. Mason thinks that it would be careless to call the police, because suspicion could settle on Julia. He then has the idea of leaving the body in the freezer in the garage. As he jams his back bearing a grudge to lift Sasha, it is Julia who takes responsibility for it. They prevent Augusta from going up to the freezer...

Episode 1422

Gina discovers that Brandon fought at the school because a friend treated him as "homeless". Phyllis is delighted to announce to Gina that she found them a job as waitresses in a new restaurant which will open the next day. Cruz tells Gina that footprints from female shoes were found near the debris of the Lockridge villa. Sophia announces to C.C. her questionings about Stephen, who proves to be very uncompromising towards the film. Mason installs two padlocks on the freezer to be sure that nobody finds Sasha. Bunny arrives to ask Julia and Mason if they saw Sasha, surprised that she did not say goodbye to him while she had to leave for San Francisco. Eden goes to the orphanage, to search through albums in the hope of recognising the children on the photo beside Derek. A sister puts her in contact with Mrs Sauderham, the old head of the orphanage. But she is in a retirement home and seems to have lost all her memory. Eden is followed throughout the day by Alfred, Derek's butler, who warns her to respect the intimacy of his boss. Cruz learns that one of his partners, Tom Fellows, has just been found dead. He goes to see the body and finds something in his hand...

Episode 1423

Cruz finds some drugs in the hand of Fellows. Eden phones Mrs Sauderham, who tells him she remembers the names of the three other orphans in the photo. After hanging up, the old woman thanks Derek for having helped her to remember names which she had completely forgotten. Derek goes to the orphanage with Alfred and changes the photos in the files of these three children. Eden researches the police computer and discovers that the three names correspond to people who are dead. She goes to the orphanage and notes that the files of these children include many individual photos identical to that in her possession. Nikki takes the police entrance exam at the police college. Encouraged by Cruz, Michael decides to launch also. Julia and Mason search Sasha's body for the bullet that killed her, but find nothing. They learn from Bunny that Sasha went to Ethan's office by taxi last time when he saw her. In the asylum, Laura sends a glazier to change the tile in Ethan's office which was broken by the bullet. When they arrive at the prosecutor's office, Julia and Mason meet the glazier and identify the place where the shooting took place. Mason even finds the bullet nested in a law-book. Ethan enters his office suddenly and surprises them...

Episode 1424

Julia and Mason leave Ethan's office taking the bullet with them. Mason asks Jack Dante to investigate the weapon which killed Sasha. Dante discovers that the bullet and the weapon belong to Craig. Worried about Augusta finding Sasha in the freezer, Julia asks her to move out of her home, using an excuse of needing intimacy with Mason after their alleged reconciliation. Mason defends Kelly during her display in front of the judge for driving under the influence of alcohol. But the initially envisaged judge, a friend of the Capwells, is replaced with a hard and uncompromising judge who inflicts Kelly to maximum trouble. Ric learns what he took place and invites Kelly to Howie's Diner, brassiere which has just opened in front of the court. Phyllis and Gina spend their first working day there. Gina, died from shame, tries by every possible means to hide from clients whom she knows. Mack invites each of them to Augusta's table in the Orient Express with the intention of persuading her about dropping the application for reimbursement of costs from Gina. He shows her the drawings accomplished by Gina. Nikki is called to the police college. She entrusts Michael that she is uncertain of the result...

Episode 1425

Sophia begins the filming of Journeys with Stephen as a partner with very intense scenes. She has a light feeling of faintness. She is surprised that Stephen knows in the detail her filmography and her partners as actors. Kelly begins her community service work in the orphanage. Cruz announces to Nikki and Michael that they both passed the entrance exams at the police college. Vic Boswell reminds Michael that he is going to have to maintain a more well-manicured appearance by shaving his beard. Michael complies. He entrusts Ric of the feelings that he has for Nikki. Marcos congratulates Nikki, while she asks him to organise the release of her brother. Cruz is confused by the death of his colleague and friend Tom Fellows, who is again going to be daddy. In the evening, he is called by Boswell from the place of a drug deal...

From this episode, John O'Hurley replaces Richard Hatch in the role of Stephen Slade.

Episode 1426

Cruz arrives at Topsy Turvy's where Nikki shows Michael how to play billiards. He spots a young man selling some drugs and stops him violently. Michael takes things into hand and the young man ends up explaining that he deals Ice for the first time, and that it is a man with the medium-oriental type who sold it to him on the beach. Nikki learns that Marcos is already married and has children. He explains to her that she will be able to see her brother again only if she continues obeying the orders of the men who kidnapped him. In the asylum, Annie shows Laura the revolver which she found in her belongings. Laura pretends not to know, but Annie shows her that she understood that Laura wants to kill her husband. She recommends finding a way that a gun can easily be drawn. Laura goes home, hesitates to pull it on Ethan, and then finally lines up the weapon at the office drawer in the living room. During the news, Eden broadcasts her report on the orphanage and launches into a nice advocacy in favour of the necessitous children. Derek looks at the programme with attention...

Episode 1427

Stephen makes Sophia playing several times a scene in which their two characters kiss each other. The evening arrives; he views these scenes in a continuous loop. Dante explains to Julia and Mason that he cannot perfectly prove that Craig's weapon is the one which killed Sasha. In the asylum, Laura reads Annie's diary and falls on a passage where she talks about how her husband died in a mysterious fall from the top of a cliff. Annie surprises her and confirms that she killed her husband. Laura hides tranquillizers and injects them into a box of chocolates which she gives to Annie. Once she is asleep, she goes to the garage where Ethan's car is parked. She hides downstairs just at the time when Ethan arrives. Ethan inopportunely makes his keys fall on the ground. Julia and Mason question Kelly about the evening when Sasha died. She remembers having seen Craig arguing with another woman in The Lair. Kelly takes the express lift up in the Orient Express and finds herself trapped in it with Craig. A general breakdown of current indeed clamps down the whole city. Julia and Mason think immediately of their freezer, which still contains Sasha's body...

Episode 1428

Locked in the lift of the Capwell Hotel, Kelly has the feeling in the course of their discussion that Craig was ill-treated in his childhood. Craig manages to find an exit in the cabin and helps Kelly get out. Julia and Mason overturn the ice in their freezer to keep Sasha's body in a state. Craig leaves their garage and tells himself he is in search of Sasha. Julia understands that Craig is not the killer. Eden's cameraman, Linda, has a feeling of faintness in the Orient Express. Eden finds meth crystal in her hand. In the hospital where she was driven, Eden asks Linda to organise an appointment with her provider, Jane. At the police station, Cruz learns that the general electricity breakdown which hits the whole city has as origin - the harbour and that it seems calculated. He wonders what crime it is hiding. Outside the city, Marcos has a big quantity of drugs delivered by helicopter. Nikki tells Marcos that the vehicle was seen near warehouses. She asks him what he was doing there. The young pusher arrested by Cruz and Michael confesses to them that he bought them in the Country-club from Jane. Laura sabotages the brakes in Ethan's car and manages to return to the asylum without being seen. In the middle of the night, Ethan loses control of his vehicle in full turn...

Episode 1429

Laura is awakened in the middle of the night by a male nurse who tells her that Ethan had an accident and that he is in the hospital. Laura understands that Ethan did not die and grabs the syringe of tranquillizers which she had used to put Annie to sleep. Annie immediately suspects Laura of having tried to kill her husband, but Laura persuades her of the opposite. She enters Ethan's hospital room and gets ready to pour the contents of the syringe into his drip, when a nurse arrives and interrupts her. Gina comes to visit Ethan, who is unconscious. Sophia and Stephen manage to finally perform a satisfactory scene of kissing for Stephen. Just as Derek then Craig, he is immediately called. In the hospital, Linda phones her pusher, Jane, and gets an appointment for Eden in Howie's Diner. Eden goes there and discovers that Jane is an old friend from high school. She asks her to find her in an alleyway to undertake an exchange. Rob, the young pusher arrested by Cruz, spies on their discussion and brings it back to Cruz and Michael, who are unaware that it is Eden. In Ethan's hospital room, three men meet and link their hands around him...
